My daughter has been here at Revolution Gymnastics for about 6 years and it has been a great experience. She loves training at Revolution and adores all of the coaches there. Susan and Randy have both been very kind to us. Susan doesn't just focus on teaching gymnastics, she instills the values of respect and kindness to others.

Revolution Gymnastics holds such wonderful memories for my entire family. My daughter, Elle trained under Susan beginning at age 13 all the way through high school. She currently competes in the sport of Acro and Tumbling in college and trains at Revolution during her summer months. As parents, we are responsible for raising our children. We were always confident with our daughter training with Susan, as we witnessed her teaching her athletes hard work, discipline, commitment and respect to the sport, yet also being supportive, understanding, loving and kind. Susan and Randy have always treated our family with nothing but kindness and respect. Susan and Randy visited our home for her senior year gathering, where we spent quality time with them. They are great people who played a very integral role in our daughter’s life during her formative years. Their business is professional yet caring to all the gymnasts. Obviously, Susan is an unbelievable coach as proof of the quality of gymnast she trains and the competitiveness of her teams. More important, to us was her fair treatment, honesty, and love she showed our daughter. We will always be grateful for the role Susan and Revolution Gymnastics played in our family’s lives.

Much Love & Respect

Both of our daughters have been at Revolution for the past two years and I cannot say enough good things about Susan, Joel, and the entire team. They are great with the kids and push them to achieve their goals. Wonderful gym!

I can’t say enough positives about Susan and the entire staff at Revolution Gymnastics! My daughter is new to WV and to the Revolution Gymnastics Team. From day one my daughter felt like part of the team and it’s bc of Susan & her entire staff. Susan and her team work tirelessly to breakdown the fundamentals of gymnastics and teach the team the proper way to perform. For the five months my daughter has been part of the team, she continues to improve on a daily basis and it’s because of efforts of Susan and her team. I couldn’t be more impressed by Revolution Gymnastics.

My daughter started coming to the gym at the age of 2. We participated in mommy and me classes. She continue classes until she joined the competition team at the age of 6 and first competed at 7. She is now 13 competing level 7. My second daughter started classes at 3 joined the competition team and competed at age 5. All the coaches have been great and very knowledgeable. Susan is very knowledgeable and her abilities to make sure your child develops the skill set they need for this sport is incredible. The compassion she displays for each Gymnastic’s whether they have an injury or successfully completes a new skill show us as parent how much she care for our children. I would recommend Revolution Gymnastics to any one that wants their child to learn and develop a great work ethic under Susan’s leadership. I’ve been at this gym for 11 years now and I don’t see us leaving anytime soon.

My daughter has attended this gym since she was 2 and is now competing at a Level 7. We are on the competitive team and have loved everything from the owners, coaches, and team mates. Everyone is there for the kids no matter if it is a rec kid or team member.

I took on the role of boosters president many years ago and have always loved working close with Susan and Randy on fundraisers. They are both very supportive and encouraging. There have been times where I have had some family issues but Susan has always been very supportive of my daughter and myself.

This gym has given us many opportunities to travel, grow friendships, and encouraging when it comes to the kids education. You can always count on Susan to pick you up when you are down and support you in all your extra curricular and school activities.

I love this gym and the connection my daughter has made with the coaches and owners. Susan is hard on the girls, but she wants them to be successful and loves each and every one of them. I couldn't imagine my daughter being apart of any other gym.

My recent experience with Revolution Gym left me thoroughly disappointed, prompting me to rate it a mere 1 out of 10. While the gym facilities themselves are passable, the behavior of the owner, Susan, was truly appalling.

It became abundantly clear to me that Susan's primary concerns lie solely with herself and monetary gain, showing a blatant disregard for the well-being and concerns of the children at the gym. In a shocking display of unprofessionalism, Susan went as far as contacting my daughter's previous gym across the country in another state to provide a distorted account of our situation, hoping to sabotage any chances of my daughter returning there.

What truly appalled me was Susan's callousness and lack of empathy towards my daughter's situation upon contacting my daughter’s previous gym. Despite being aware of my daughter's fractured ankle and the circumstances surrounding her departure from the gym, Susan chose to misrepresent the situation by claiming my daughter had quit, further demonstrating her deceitful and immature behavior.

Susan's actions not only reflect her selfish and unethical nature but also highlight her complete disregard for the well-being and integrity of the children under her care. It is clear to me that Susan lacks the essential qualities needed to run a gym that caters to children and families, making Revolution Gym an unsuitable and unwelcoming environment for young members.

Based on my experience, I strongly advise against entrusting your children to Revolution Gym. Susan's manipulative and irresponsible conduct undermines the trust and safety that parents expect from a reputable gym, and I urge families to explore alternative, more reputable options for their children's fitness and well-being.

RESPONSE TO OWNER:

The tone and structure of this response is an example of the unprofessionalism.

Susan pointed out that I didn't introduce myself. How does that relate to the topic at hand? This behavior reflects pettiness, immaturity, and unprofessionalism.

Typically, my mom handles all matters concerning my daughter's gymnastics. Therefore, it wasn't unusual for me not to introduce myself or call in when my daughter couldn't make it to the gym.

Regarding payment, it is not standard procedure to disclose payment information to another company without written permission from the account holder. This practice is not only unethical but also breaches privacy policies and could result in legal consequences.

Rest assured, my mom, who is my daughter’s grandmother, is committed to paying any outstanding fees.

If you want to deal with this unnecessary drama, including Susan's unsuccessful efforts to exclude your daughters or sons from various gyms and tarnish their reputation, consider Revolution Gym. If not, as I mentioned earlier, explore other options.

Great positive business for children. My daughter has been attending for over 8 years and it has helped her not only live her gymnastics dreams but develop her character and as a person. The owners coaches and staff are world class and it one of the best decisions I made. We are currently on the second generation of our family to attend .

My son & daughter started at Revolution four years ago. My son participated in the Iron Man classes for 1.5 years until his travel ball schedule took priority. We were able to withdraw him with notice and no issues. My daughter is in her third year of competitive team at Revolution. I cannot say enough about the coaches and owner, Susan. For the last year my daughter has had tests and procedures figuring out a medical condition. Susan called her when she was in the hospital, knew the days we had doctor appointments, was texting for updates, and genuinely cares about her athletes. She is in tune to her athletes complaints, pain or just something being off, providing preventative treatment methods as appropriate. The lessons my daughter has learned go beyond skills (I cannot say enough about the discipline alone). This gym is a second family. We live closer to other gyms, but made the decision to take our children to Revolution and we have no regrets.

My daughter has been attending this gym since 2017 and has been on the competitive team since 2018. The owners, coaches, team moms and team girls have become a second family. My daughter spends 12-15 hours a week there and is always excited to go to practice. The coaches are always understanding if you can’t make it to practice due to schoolwork, sickness or whatever may come arise. They’re always willing to let you make up a practice day if needed. These coaches have put their heart into helping all of the girls chase their dreams. We couldn’t be more proud to be apart of their gym.

My youngest daughter has been attending Revolution now for several years. She is now in her second year of competitive gymnastics with Revolution. I am a mother of 3 girls, whom all compete in different sports, all year round. I see and watch coaches interact A LOT with athletes all year round. Susan and her staff are amazing. The coach and gymnast bond Susan and her staff create with not just my daughter, but also with her teammates, is priceless and irreplaceable. It’s a one of a kind positive environment.

My children started gymnastics in the Mommy and Me classes years ago. From the very beginning our Revolution experience has been great. Our oldest child and youngest child have both taken recreational classes. When my youngest daughter experienced an awful arm break (unrelated to Revolution), Susan called us at the hospital to check on her, as well as texted with me regarding her treatment. She and Randy both allowed us to adjust her class schedule while she healed.

The coaches have always been kind, fun and engaging. My middle daughter started as a team gymnast in 2021, and has had a wonderful experience. She has grown so much as a gymnast and teammate. Susan, and her qualified coaches work hard to create an environment when the girls are able to be successful. We know there are other gym options in our area, but we want to be at Revolution. I feel like my children are safe and respected.

My daughter has been going to Revolution for five years and is now on the competition team. I have nothing but positive things to say about the gym, the staff, and our experience there. The owners and all the coaches are wonderful with the girls and truly care about their success and well being, not only in the gym but outside the gym as well. I have witnessed that first hand over the years. Everyone who works there wants to create a fun and learning environment for every child.

My daughter has been on the Team for close to 7 years now. Excellent coaching, clear expectations, clean environment. Care for the gymnast’s health and well being is very important to the coaches, which is so appreciated. Expectations are high for themselves, their gymnasts, and the parents - both inside and out of the gym. One of their mottos is “success is no accident.” If you are committed, they will be committed to you and will safely take you as far as your drive and abilities will allow. Highly recommend.

My daughters both attend Revolution Gymnastics and have for the past 2-3 years. One of them is on a competition team. I am impressed with Revolution Gymnastics and the dedication, skill and caring of the coaches. The owners are caring and responsive as well. They communicate frequently and well regarding expectations, events, scheduling, and more. Susan Brown emphasizes the need for sportsmanship and character in her athletes, and sets a strong example of both herself. She even tells the parents that she expects sportsmanship from the audience during events. In today’s world, I totally respect that kind of expectation. Susan’s leadership and character are one of many reasons why I highly recommend Revolution Gymnastics.

My daughter has attended this gym for 2 years now and the experience has been wonderful. My daughter loves going here. All of the coaches are great and create an environment to help my child be her best. The owner, Susan, cares about each kid and it shows. My daughter had surgery and Susan would check in on her, and even gave us a discount for the month. She is also at every meet, supporting each child. We are glad that we joined this gym and proud to see our daughter improve and excel here.

We were introduced to Revolution by a family friend.
We have been with Revolution for 6 years now & my oldest has recently made the competition team. Susan and the other coaches are amazing with the girls. They have helped my daughter in more ways than they realize. Not only is she working hard to become a better athlete but she has also come out of her shell and has made the best little friendships. We are forever grateful for ALL of the staff at this gym.

Highly recommend Revolution for anyone wanting to start the sport. ❤️

Our daughter has attended this gym for nearly 3 years. She has been developed from a recreational gymnast to a competitive gymnast by Susan and her staff of professionals. Our daughter is always treated with respect and care. Susan places the needs of her gymnasts above those of her own consistently. Our daughter has become more confident and driven under the leadership and guidance of revolution gymnastics.

This team has taken our girls to meets at WV, VA, NC, and FL this season. The owners have coordinated training opportunities with WVU and has helped others earn their way onto D1 rosters. When I can't make an event I almost always receive pictures of my daughter along with updates.

Most importantly, the gymnasts have fun and enjoy their time at revolution. My daughter loves her friends and coaches here.

I have never witnessed any example of malicious intent towards a family and especially not towards a child.

It is a gym for young gymnasts to train and is led by great owners and staffed by awesome coaches. In addition to the outstanding development they provide, these people make it fun and build these kids up. However, it is also a business. If you don't pay your bill you don't train. Don't listen to petty 1 star reviews written by people who don't understand that concept. Your kids are in great hands at revolution gymnastics.

Beyond grateful for Revolution Gymnastics and their coaches. We chose this gym because of their reputation of being not only a safe gym but one that also cares for each gymnast. We drive an hour to this gym as it was highly recommended as a place that she would be taken care of and supported in the sport she loves so much. After almost 5 years with this gym and the coaches, we would also highly recommend this gym and coaching staff ♥️

I go here and the owner, Randy Brown, and Susan Brown are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met, and all the trainers are amazing and make sure we are healthy and fed and give us a lot confidence to work through anything and definitely recommend that you bring your children here and do not get upset when you are not allowed to be on the team so many kids beg to be on the team but they can’t because there’s not a lot of room and people don’t understand that there’s not a lot of room on the team we have like 100 million girls that compete and I’m one of them and seeing people saying that they didn’t answer the first time and they didn’t do that they didn’t do that but you have to understand they’re busy they’re taking teaching kids they’re working there training us so I hate to see these one reviews when this is gym amazing, amazing, amazing, amazing, amazing gym

The owner, Randy, basically talked to me as if I was stupid. I asked about the team practices because one of the coaches told my daughter and I that she would be good for the young team. So I asked him about what I needed to enroll Ariel in for this summer because of the conversation we had with the coach and he told me that Dayne, the coach was stupid and didn’t know what he was talking about. Then said we aren’t even having a little team this summer now anyways. He looked back down and that was the end of his reply to me. So I brought this to his attention today and he was so degrading and even more rude on the phone. I even said, this isn’t about a team, it’s about a 5 year old girl who got her hopes up and you acted like I was an idiot for even asking about it. Then he told me that coach was on his way out the door anyway, he was getting rid of him. I was going to pay the $180 some for the prep class for the team but they lost my business. He said, that’s ok we have 660 some other customers.
