This is 5he first gym I went to when I moved back to Wisconsin. It's always clean and the staff is friendly and very helpful. The portage gym is nice but Jody is amazing. If you have the chance you definitely want to have a conversation with her (and the other staff members)!.

Got pressured into a good review to save money. Forget to mention it was $250 to cancel my membership!! If youβre hesitant about joining the gym DO NOT JOIN THIS ONE. They are here to collect your money and thatβs it. After 2 weeks it costs $250 to cancel your membership. All these five star reviews (mine included previously) are because they offer a discount on signing up if you leave them a 5 star review in office in front of them.

I would be careful of their 5-star reviews. As they do ask for them when people sign up and give some sort of discount. Which technically Google doesn't allow, but that is the least of my concerns.
I am giving them two stars because the gym is one of the cleanest gyms I have ever seen. That is where my kindness will stop.
This place will trick you into signing a two year contract without telling you. I remember signing up with Patrick and stating to him that I would be in the area for 6-12 months tops. I remember talking to him about cancelation during the sign up process and he made it all seem sooo simple and no problem at all. WRONG. Trying to cancel now and they're saying "nope sorry your contract goes through 2026." Excuse me? I was never made aware of this during the sign up process. I was never told that I would be locked in for two years with no way to get out expect a medical issue or moving 30+ miles away. At this point, no I am not moving 30+ miles away but far enough that I don't want to come here anymore, but doesn't matter to them. They will not let me out of the contract they scammed me into.
They also make you pay bi-weekly instead of monthly - I found that weird. But whatever, you would hope that my membership dues are going towards something good. But then why do they need to take an additional $35 out twice a year for "gym improvements"? You're not scamming enough people with their two year long contracts so you need their additional $35 too?
