Small climbing area, hard to discern which holds are on, sometimes start tags are missing or tops aren't marked. Reasonable prices, really cool place to hang out / remote work.

We did visited as a small work event. It was perfect. Lots of routes for all levels. Otto was super helpful. Showed us some fun routes and gave us some hints and tricks as we were newbies. We had a great time and I would highly recommend.

We recently celebrated our daughterβs 7th birthday at The Loop Commons, and I can't say enough good things about the entire experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, organized, and incredibly attentive β they made the birthday girl feel like a true rock star!
The facility itself is a dream for energetic kids. Every child was engaged, challenged, and most importantly, having a blast. Bevin was patient and encouraging, helping each of the kids make their way through the different challenges. The winners of each challenge even got a certificate at the end!
The party room was beautifully set up, clean, and perfectly timed with the climbing session. Bevin and his staff took care of everything β from coordinating activities to helping with the cake and cleanup. It was completely stress-free for us, and the kids left happy, tired, and asking to come back!
If you're looking for an exciting, well-run, and memorable birthday party experience, this is the place to go. Thank you for making our childβs birthday so special!

Had a birthday party there and will definitely be returning just to climb but also for future parties. Venue was great, very accommodating, safe and super friendly staff. They did such a great job with a bunch of 7 years olds. Kept them entertained, engaged and having fun while also making sure they were learning and staying safe.
The kids all had such a great time, the set up is perfect for parents to join in or watch if they prefer.
So glad we found this business. It's a great place to get out and get active!

I just want to share this observation...I was walking by today and looked in to see kids climbing the walls, very cool! But there wasn't any safety ropes, or anything to stop a fall!
Not only that, there were kids sitting on the floor below them while climbing. I'm sure not all these kids are expert climbers, and a slip from the plastic rocks could happen, yes the floor is rubber, but a fall from 10/12 ft could do some substantial damage!....Just my observation.

Visited with our grandson (age 7, about 50 " tall). He climbed for almost 3 hours. They had to tell us that they were closing in 10 minutes. Grandpa did some climbing, too. It was a wonderful afternoon!

I run/own/route set a bouldering club in Kenosha for the last 7 years with around 50+ routes at any given time and what follows is my review based on my experiences in the field.
I climbed here on a Tuesday around 10am to 12 and no one was here so I was able to climb 95 percent of the facility in that time window. The grading scale was on a 1 to 5 difficulty, with 5 being V8ish. In total there were approximately 35 to 40 routes plus a traverse wall and a system board. If you climb V8 or higher outdoors this is place is not intended for you. This review is not based on the amount of routes or difficulty of those routes but in terms of routesetting/safety/enjoyment. My interaction with staff was almost non existent but the ones I had were pleasant.
The Good:
it was quiet when I was here and most of the routes felt unique.
The not so good:
The routes are marked with paper cards, most of which are coming off the walls or torn. A few routes were not marked at all. Consider going to just color tape for grade or grade by hold color.
Walls are glossy and lack texture. Which makes it all feel like system climbing. If this is your desire then keep it but if you want it to feel more like outdoor climbing consider adding texture to wall with flat paint. I like "homax:sand" but others work just as well.
They use the contrivance of "naturals" which I assume referred to the wall features but after climbing a bit I believe refers to volumes as well. Some clarity would have been nice but really I would abandon this practice and just learn to set for the walls you have. Probably harder to do with the 45 wall with two 90 corners.
Holds are all the same brand, Nicros, and the urethane they use is not the best quality. Because of this climbing here feels very plasticy compared to other gyms.
Nicros doesn't use industry standard colors. With chalk and rubber on the holds grey and white are difficult to tell apart, as is lime green to green and blue to teal. I would abandon this brand as soon as possible and switch to any holds poured by Aragon, Escape and Rock Candy.
Consider buying a telescoping wand with an adjustable head to attach a brush. The stick with a brush mounted vertically is useless.
Not all holds had set screws. Consider adding set screws to all holds besides feet. Just countersink a hole and add them. I encountered one that spun on me.
The bad:
I encountered a hold (I believe it was teal) at the finish of a route on the overhang wall that was clearly a shallow pour resulting in a jug that is so tight your fingers could get stuck behind it. At 13ft up this could be a career ender. This shouldn't have made it on the wall and should be thrown away.
I would highly recommend learning about hold geometry to the wall angle, as this is fundamental to safe commercial route setting. A sloping 45 jug on a slab can achieve the same difficulty as a sharp, deeply incut jug without the risk of injury.
Final thoughts:
This place has potential but needs some work. I tried to come up with real suggestions for any criticism I had. I look forward to seeing what the future brings for this place and wish them the best!

Went with 5, 6 and 7 year old boys who had a great time. The man in charge kept my kids engaged and interested while he taught them key points and the boys would have climbed for hours if we had the time. Can't wait to come back.

I love this place, the courses they have are always changing and range from super simple to super challenging. I like the prices and the hours are good. I can't wait to go back and keep climbing. The owner is very supportive and informative. He knows a bunch and is more than willing to stand and coach you if you are stuck on a route. I love this place!!

What a sweet little spot! The place is clean and well-maintained, cushy mats, and a variety of different problems for all skill levels. The owner is so friendly and even offers advice to anyone who wants it. I spent 2 hours here but could have stayed longer and not been bored. Iβll be back if Iβm in the area again.

Great place, regardless of your experience level. We've taken the kids there several times and they find it to be a lot of fun and like to challenge themselves on the different levels of difficulty. The owner was incredibly nice, generous, and did a great job of explaining everything. I'm a climbing novice but enjoyed it a lot. They've done a lot of work and the place looks amazing. It's really great to have a place like this in the location that it is, the community is fortunate to have such a great addition.

Great place for all levels of climbers.
Owner is very nice and friendly. Watched him give engaging explanation and safety rundown that was tailored to the age/experience of the audience.
Has a great traverse wall that is set well for all levels of difficulty.
Bouldering area is compact but there are lots of good problems with an even spread of difficulty. Despite the size of the space the layout can support 7 or 8 simultaneous climbers. Good separation of low difficulty and high difficulty routes. Route grading is accurate.

My family was looking for a place where we could bring 4 different ages and experience levels to rock climb. This place hit the mark on all levels. Not only is this place brand new and great layout, the cost is reasonable, the training is excellent and rental shoes are highest quality. Cant say enough good things. They went all out on this new buildout and hope the word spreads.

Being in the climbing industry myself, this place is truly an oasis in the desert for a boulderer! So happy this place moved in. If you enjoy the mental peace of movement as medicine (yoga, sports, running, etc.) & youβre looking for a change of paceβ¦ Treat yourself to a day pass & experience how fun & freeing climbing is! Thank you Bevin & Kitty!
