Jennifer’s classes are not the easiest, but she balances that out with tons of encouragement! Her classes are always my first choice.
** Update ** Jennifer helped me adapt after an injury. My PT said Pilates is a great way for me to rehabilitate my wonky knee, and I can trust Jennifer to guide me.

I like this club, the instructors are good, especially Jennifer, she makes the class enjoyable, often saying your name which makes it personal. All of the instructors are pretty good.

The staff was very kind and informative. The place was immaculately clean. The instructor was very descriptive of the different moves we were supposed to do and informed us whether we were doing it right, and didn't hesitate to get us back on the right track if not. I do plan to join again. My body tells me that I did it right thanks to the instructor. Thank you!

I have been going to Club Pilates Wauwatosa for about 8 months and am so grateful I found it. I’ve never been one to stick with an exercise program until now. A few reasons I love it:
- I love how strong I’m getting. I notice it mostly in day to day tasks, which is exactly why I signed up. I also haven’t thrown my back out or needed to go to my chiropractor since I started doing Pilates so I really think it’s helping my body.
- It’s both so easy anyone can do it and so challenging anyone can benefit from it. Also, it’s really easy to avoid comparing yourself to others when you’re on your reformer or in your station so you can just focus on doing the work.
- The only thing I need to think about is making sure I have my grippy socks. Otherwise, I just show up and the fantastic instructors will lead me through a workout that changes every single day to keep things interesting. I love that I don’t have to count reps or worry about if a certain machine will be open or if the class will be too crowded - you know if you get a spot in a class you’re all set.
- Speaking of the instructors: no complaints about any but Jennifer and Beth are my favorite and I do my best to prioritize their classes when I can in my schedule. They cue the movements really well making it easy for people of all levels to understand what they should be doing, how it should feel, how to amplify/modify, etc. Their feedback makes it easy for you to adjust on your own but both are always walking around to offer adjustment opportunities. Jennifer is especially talented at both remembering peoples names and giving encouragement during her classes and I think that helps because her classes do seem to be the hardest (which I think is good - if I’m going, I want to use my time wisely!)
- It’s close to my house, street parking within one block is always available even though North Ave can be pretty busy.
- I’ve heard people complaining about challenging waitlists at other Club Pilates locations but as long as you sign up a few days in advance you can almost always get into the classes you want. The waitlist works really well.
- The only downside is that there isn’t much community - I’ve gone to other types of studios in the area and it seems people are more chatty and the vibe between students is warmer and friendlier. More often than not, you’re just sitting silent on your reformer waiting for class to start instead of chatting with other students.

I am very disappointed in how this company handles payments and resolving issues surrounding that. Be careful when using their app. If you get charged twice, they don’t want you to go to your bank and dispute the charges with them. They would rather badger you into taking another class that you might not be able to take and then charge you late fees into submission of retracting the disputed charge. The “resolutions” they contrived were sneaky and scammy: retract your disputed charge that way you can attend the class you paid for already but were turned away from taking we’re going to offer you a “free class”.

I have thoroughly loved my experience at Club Pilates. Saturday morning / Monday night class with Beth were highlights of my week. I’ve really missed seeing her in the studio and her classes, she’s incredibly knowledgeable and clearly very well trained in instructing various levels and forms of Pilates, she expects respect for the basic rules of timeliness and etiquette but I honestly have never thought she was anything but friendly, engaging, dedicated, and encouraging. She also respectfully challenges your strength to help you grow in your Pilates practice - she really pays attention to those giving their best effort, remembers your name, and even remembers really specific details of your Pilates journey and will give you personalized pointers for gaining strength and improving form based on that journey, if you want them. Really a talented person and instructor willing to share her knowledge if you’re open to being coached.
Kendall and Sara are other absolutely incredible instructors, I also really love Jennifer and Stephanie’s classes. Each of them have a different vibe they bring to class that is uniquely enjoyable, well-programmed, challenging, and fun.
Joyce and Ellen’s classes honestly feel misguided / not planned or structured / not nearly as challenging as others but could see them being good options for injury recovery, those newer to Pilates, or those looking for a more relaxing type of class as opposed to a more active and challenging strength-building or mobility-improving workout.

Instructor Beth is extremely rude. Walked in at 3:53 and she said I couldn’t join because I was 10 minutes late. I was in before 3:55. No reason to be so rude. Definitely 10/10 don’t recommend rude Beth as your instructor.

I’m visiting my daughter and am a CP member in Texas. It was confusing (for me) to sign up for a drop in; however, Chloe was so helpful, patient and kept in contact until I got in. She went above and beyond. When I got to the studio today for class, Angie greeted me with a smile, knew who I was and was so welcoming. Karen is an amazing instructor, friendly and took the time to orient me to their set up. Karen’s knowledgeable, attentive, and she introduced some new things I’ll be able to take back with me. It was a fantastic experience. Thank you Chloe, Angie and Karen! I hope to see you again!

I'm so happy I joined Club Pilates in Tosa! All of the instructors are amazing and so willing to answer any questions you have. The reception staff are welcoming and greet you by name as they get to know you better. I've been so fortunate to get to learn more about pilates during my time at CP Tosa, and learn more about myself and my strengths in the process!

I was not familiar with the Club Pilates franchise until this studio opened, and they are a very welcome addition to the neighborhood. I like that they offer a great variety of classes and equipment, the instructors/classes are accommodating to people of all fitness levels and abilities, the staff is friendly. It is also nice to see the old building get some much-needed updating!
