Great gym with very experienced trainers. Workouts are tailored to individual goals and are quite varied. Nice mix of clients of all ages. It’s a fun place to work out and you get the results!

I have been a member of CORE Health and Fitness for about 10 years in their semi private coaching program and highly recommend CORE! The staff is fantastic-supportive, patient and knowledgeable. They take the time to carefully assess each member's needs and goals and then write out a program specific to that member. They also change the program every 4-6 weeks so that you're always challenged. They take the time to watch your form to make sure you're getting the most out of your workout and do not injure yourself. The friendly and supportive atmosphere is also different from many gyms-It's a place you can feel safe no matter what level of fitness, no matter what you're working on.

CORE REVIEW
I have been a member of CORE for seven years and there is no way that I would consider a change. It has everything a person could want in order to improve their fitness, flexibility, strength and balance. Like many people my age I have lower back and shoulder issues. Eric and Drew are able to create workout routines that best address these issues. Through their coaching and guidance I’m able to do the routines properly for maximum effect. I’m convinced that through these routines coupled with Eric and Drew’s expertise my quality of life has improved. When I think of CORE I think of comradere, expertise, humor, friendship, flexibility in scheduling, small group workouts with like minded people and personal satisfaction. Give it a try. I think you will be glad you did.

Core's personal trainers, Eric and Drew, are very knowledgeable on many types of exercises and techniques for all members. If a client has a specific injury they are as valuable as a PT when developing your individual program.
Core is a community where members share life experiences and sometimes coffee.
Whatever age or ability level your body is at they will personalize a program for you!

Core has been part of my life through many stages. Whether my goal happened to be finishing Crazy Legs, getting up on the trapeze at Club Med, having fun on the pickleball courts or anything in between, the coaches at Core have supported and encouraged me. Every six weeks I get a new exercise program that builds on the last and is designed to strengthen my muscles and improve my body’s mechanics. As I’ve aged, I’ve appreciated the focus on core strength, balance and flexibility. The coaches check in with me during each session and are happy to adjust or add particular exercises to work out the various aches and pains that come with being in my 50s. Core coaches and members are friendly and welcoming and many have become good friends. Those relationships make working out something I look forward to. I highly recommend Core!

The best decision I made during and after my recovery was choosing to partner with CORE Health and Fitness.
I injured my knee in 2022 and the normal channels of physical therapy, medicine, and rest got me back to walking but I wasn’t progressing how I wanted. I was also determined not to have surgery. The customized programs they created have strengthened not only my knee but my entire leg that had atrophied from a year of minimal use. I’m now back to lifting weights, pushing my limits and shocked by my overall progress.
Eric and Drew are scientists! They do not stick to conventional methods of training. They keep you moving and growing even through exercise modifications so don’t lose any of the progress you’ve made. I’ve found this method keeps me motivated and hopeful that I will (and have) see the results I want.
I couldn’t leave a review without mentioning the incredible community among the CORE members. As I settled into my routine I got to know the members who workout during the same time as me. I’ve been fortunate to be part of that community, see other members grow and experience how the community supports each other. We are all there just doing our best and having fun doing it.
CORE was recommended to me by a friend in 2023 and I can’t imagine where my fitness level would have been without them.

I've been working out with Eric for over 11 years. I started Core to address strengthening after knee surgery and chronic low back problems. The scheduled routines helped me stay on track to regain my leg and core strength, and kept me coming me back for years to better my overall athletic abilities. I've had various injuries over the years due to an active lifestyle. Drew and Eric are always checking in in order to customize my workout and address problem areas, or help me obtain fitness goals.
On top of being great trainers, Eric and Drew have created a strong Core community. Gym challenges, newsletters, evening hikes, etc, all create friendships in the gym. Another reason to go workout! Love this place!

Eric and Drew are amazing. I've been working with Eric on and off since 2014. The owners/trainers challenge me and build me up at the same time. They are very knowledgeable and experienced and if they don't know a condition or injury, they will educate themselves to give us a personalized routine. Also, Eric helped one of my sons begin his workout goals despite the chronic pain my son experiences. The gym is clean, equipped, and the members are friendly.

As a new resident to the area, I decided I wanted some assistance to improve balance, flexibility, and strength. I researched several gym/training facilities with Google's help, but none looked as if they would be a good fit for me. Then I came across the CORE Health & Fitness website, read about what they offered, visited them in person for an overview, and signed up for the 21 day jumpstart program to see if CORE really would be a good fit for me.
It has been a great experience. Trainers are knowledgeable, and helpful with demonstrating techniques and providing instructions. The safety and well-being of clients are primary considerations, plus the trainers want to make the time there valuable and enjoyable. I am one of the older clients, but it is nice to see folks of various ages working on programs created just for them and their goals. Trainers and clients are all very welcoming, and I am so glad I kept scrolling through Google options and found CORE Health & Fitness.

Core is a GEM, not just a gym. While there are plenty of gyms in Middleton and the Greater Madison area, Core provides a novel service: a workout that is tailored to your needs and goals. Core is one part Physical Therapy and one part cross-training gym. The resulting combination is a workout with close attention from coaches who are experienced and knowledgable. Their mastery of kinesiology and patient coaching helped me get back a high level of fitness. Whether you are a novice like me or an athlete looking for improved performance, they offer something for everyone.
