Trying to get back into it after a total knee replacement has been challenging, but Coach Hunter, like all of the coaches at CrossFit Shipwreck, was very supportive in giving me some options for the workout that were within my abilities. He carefully listened to what I could handle and suggested modifications that kept me moving without overdoing it.

I appreciated how he checked on me throughout, making sure I was comfortable while still feeling challenged. The atmosphere at CrossFit Shipwreck is welcoming and encouraging, and I always feel so much support when I come here. The coaches’ attentiveness and willingness to personalize workouts make a big difference in my progress and confidence.

I started going to Shipwreck as part of a “Kickstart” program for 6 weeks. I had never done CrossFit before then, and hadn’t been to a gym regularly in over 4 years. After the 6 week program was over, I was hooked! The gym always has a welcoming environment, fun classes, challenging workouts, and the coaches know everyone’s strengths and weaknesses, and help modify workouts to make sure everyone gets the most out of each one.

Great environment! First time back after an injury. Coach acknowledged the injury and made sure I was safe by giving me scaled options. Got a great workout in without having the injury flare up. Very welcoming gym by coaches and members! Sign up, you’ll be hooked!

Blair ran an excellent class today! He offers a wealth of knowledge when it comes to movements and how to approach any given workout. I thoroughly enjoy learning from Blair and all the other coaches. Forever thankful Shipwreck opened their doors. Their methodology in every regard is thought out and they have intent for every little detail. I cannot recommend CrossFit Shipwreck enough!

I have been coming to CF Shipwreck for a couple months now and absolutely love it!! I have never done CrossFit before and was a little intimidated to start as I’ve never had any experience with a barbell, but am so glad I did! All of the coaches do an amazing job helping truly coach and guide you through the movements with proper form to continuously improve your technique. They’re always willing to break down the movements to work up to a continuous lift with proper form, thus enhancing total function. They give great feedback and are constantly pushing you to improve your personal goals! Highly recommend to anyone considering it, even if you’re afraid of picking up a barbell like I was!

It's my second week and I couldn't feel more welcome! All of the coaches I have had class with have taken the extra time to insure I am using proper form. It's very easy to stay motivated, during a workout, with their energy and positive attitudes! I have struggled to find a workout routine, outside of cardio, that I can follow and stick with. The staff has made it extremely easy for me to stay engaged. Thank you!

I cannot say enough about how positive my experience has been at Shipwreck! was completely new to cross fit when I took my first class. I instantly felt welcomed and supported. The instructors truly take the time to tailor each workout to challenge you and modify any movements that you’re not quite ready for. I never thought I would be a person who does CrossFit and now I look forward to going. Have been going to this gym for 5 weeks or so, love it and can really feel the difference in my body. It is hard, but I have a smile on my face after every workout and have met some great people. My wife and I both enjoy it and have lots of fun together working out. Sarah, Kyle and Trevor are great trainers and do a great job working with me to make sure I am doing everything correct.

I joined here with a low level of fitness after getting busy having 3 kids. I can’t believe how wonderful I feel after 6 months as a member (3x a week). I started with an empty bar, minimum weights, modifications every move and working my way up. Thankful for amazing coaches that work with anybody and meet us where we’re at!! I was reluctant to go at first because I felt intimidated but I'm so glad I did. Kyle, Sarah and Trevor are amazing coaches and everyone is incredibly supportive and kind. There are always scalable options and you will feel welcome. The space itself is great too - it's so exciting to have this in Superior and not have to drive over the bridge for something cool to do :) I consider myself a regular now 😅

Shipwreck is such an amazing gym!! Having a kid and no day care it can be a struggle at times to find time to workout or a gym that is kid friendly. Shipwreck has been the perfect fit for my schedule, my fitness goals, and a fun space for my daughter to hang out at. The coaches are knowledgable and create a positive environment for people to feel welcome and help them achieve their fitness goals. I would highly recommend shipwreck to anybody.
