My favorite place I’ve ever worked out. I bought sandbags and have kept paying for virtual workouts even though I’ve moved away from the area, because the types of movements/exercises are just so well thought out and make me feel so strong and stable without getting injured or overly sore. I haven’t needed the chiropractor nearly as much since I started these workouts, they have been more effective at handling my pain, stiffness, and soreness than Chiro or yoga or any other type of workout I’ve tried. I get help to make adjustments when certain movements don’t feel good, and there are always multiple levels of each exercise presented as options. I also appreciate that it’s not at all a gym bro vibe, classes are fun because everyone is just a normal person trying to workout and not make it a weird competition. All fitness levels are represented and it’s very easy to be a beginner here. But there are also a lot of very strong bodies to be inspired by! Really love this place and miss being local to be able to attend in person!

Fitness Lying Down is awesome! The trainers are super supportive and really take the time to get to know you and what you need. They always have great modifications if something doesn’t work for you, but they also know exactly how to challenge you when you’re ready for more.
The workouts are never boring, and the environment is so positive and fun. Everyone here—from the trainers to the other members—makes you feel welcome and part of the team. I’ve never felt more motivated or comfortable in a gym!

The past 7 years I have been a client was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Cory, Meagan, Faith, Shelly and Matt are so positive. I'm one month into my training at Fitness Lying Down; and I am already HOOKED. I watched a friend of mine post (on her Instagram) about her workouts at FLD. I live 70 minutes away from their physical location; but I reached out to see if they could still work with me in some way. I was pleasantly surprised when Cory told me they offer virtual training. I feel stronger. I have more stamina. I already see my body changing. And the best part: I look forward to my workouts (mostly virtual; but occasionally I'll make the drive). I would give Fitness Lying Down 20 stars if I could!

I have loved my experience at FLD! The trainers have all been wonderful to work with, they understand my weaknesses and help adjust my workouts accordingly! I feel like they truly care about me and want to help me understand what I am doing and why it is critical to do it correctly! I also love that as I learn more about my diet/nutrition needs I can ask Megan questions! This place is life changing. It is not your ordinary gym, the trainers care deeply about your success. What does success look like? Over the course of many years I've come to realize and be comfortable with the fact that I won't have the body builder physic so why should I work with trainers who try and have me fit that mold? My goal is overall health and strength that will carry me forward as I age. I've finally found trainers who will help me be stronger and have greater mobility. FLD is truly a family of people that supports you in your fitness journey. I've never felt isolated or alone as I did when I strength trained in traditional gyms. Thank you Corey and crew for making FLD such a great place to workout.
I've also found a great nutritionist who has helped me break down the mystery of how food helps the body function and how the content of what I fuel my body with matters. It's not just about weight loss, it's about overall health. I couldn't be more blessed to know Megan. I get excited each time I talk to her as she is so knowledgeable and is willing to research topics she's not as well versed in and break it down so I can understand it!

Best place around!
Update....4 yrs later...I'm still in love with the place. I'm an original member...I've been there 8 1/2 years, and I actually go!! How many people can say they still regularly go to their gym this far in!! The owner Cory designs your workouts/classes and is a rock star. He makes sure you are taken care of in all facets and it can carry over to real life. The other trainers are upbeat, genuine and amazing too!! You're never sorry you walked through the doors. They'll take it from there!!

I am such a fan of Fitness Lying Down! The workout programs, staff, music, and facility are outstanding. I have learned I can workout, despite a number of physical limitations. Joining Fitness Lying Down was the best decision I’ve made in years! I recommend any adult, young or old, do this for themselves and those they love. I’ve been going here for over 3 years. Every workout is new and exciting! Always challenging but in a good way. All of the trainers are knowledgeable and helpful. I love how classes are small and feel like one on one training. Highly recommend to anyone from teenagers to 90s.
