I love that this gym is privately owned and operated. The owner Clay, is a likable guy and very accommodating. The gym is clean and well equipped. They aren’t geared for a lot of volume yet, but their equipment is top notch. I have worked back and quads there and both workouts were spectacular. I am loving working out here. I highly recommend Ghost Town Fitness Center.

Im not a member currently, have made it down here for a few days passes. Place has that old school atmosphere. IRON PLATES! variety of machines.. free weight area is big enough. Cardio area is kinda small.. located upstairs of the facility. Staff is friendly, variety of people.. if your looking for a powerlifting/bodybuilding feel.. this place is awesome!

Only reason I give it four stars.. price. Kinda expensive IMO.

I moved to the area with my bf and joined this gym. It was abusive relationship and needed to move back to milw so I asked to cancle my year contract. I only joined for 3 weeks. The woman at the front desk said it wasn't a problem but I now see they keep taking money out, I called and never got a call back and its been 2 weeks. I will be canceling my card so no more payments come out.
Very disappointing the way this handled.

Best fitness center in the valley by far. Everyone is very friendly staff and patrons alike! Highly suggested as they have everything one could ever need. Really nice cardio center, plenty of weight lifting machines and lots of free weights. Very clean and well organized.

I have experienced some medical issues that left me unable to workout. On November 1, 2022 I sent an email to cancel my membership. I never received a follow up. I assumed it was all good. I always have enough cash in my account and assumed it was taken care of. I had to review my account at the bank, and the gym is still taking the monthly payment out. And it is twice what it previously was. I am so angry that it wasn’t handled nor was I communicated with in any form.

The childcare room in a joke. It is tiny and gets extremely hot. I had no problem with the employees in the childcare. A child threw a doll at my son and broke off his front tooth. I was given no information about the child and parents who did this, nor any assistance from the gym. It cost $1600 to fix his tooth. The treadmills are so close together.

I'm extremely out going, and staff is nice, but next to impossible to strike up a conversation with anybody there. Not the friendliest place in the world.

Edit: Can't stand manipulation of owner when there is a valid reason needed to cancel. Had they been willing to pause my membership for 6 months, I'd still be going there.
I've no respect for them at all.

GT is clean and has something for every comfort level! It is the only gym that has a sauna in the area!! I also am grateful for a gym that has no minimum age limit for childcare! As a momma of 2 and being cleared at 6 weeks PPD, it’s great that I don’t have to compromise my physical and mental health and can continue to set an example for my boys! Thank you GT for thinking of everyone! The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because sometimes I think they need more staff on child care or to have a limit of children per staff plus a better cooling system in the room.

Ghost town was an excellent gym while I was in town between school. Has a good feel to it and everything that I want with a gym. I’d recommend it to anyone who came to the fox valley area and will definitely be going back in the future!

In starting a new chapter in my journey to better health, I joined Ghosttown a few weeks ago and the staff is so friendly. Also the facility is clean, with reasonable rates and it is close to home. I love that my 17 year old minor child may also attend as many gyms make someone be 18.

Much cheaper than the YMCA. Sauna is on and working almost 100% of the time. This is an important and unusual mention. Most gyms I see don't care if it isn't working correctly. They really don't have any competition in the area.

Ghost town fitness is a great place to work out, it's a place where you can go and do your own thing. You can lift weights, go tanning, go in the sauna, take classes and they offer so much more. The staff and owner are always friendly and are around to help if you need it. I enjoy going to a gym were they not only help out the members but also doing fundraisers for the community. There is no better gym!

Friendly place to workout. Even if your not a body builder this place is great. Has a sauna, treadmills, and a loft area that feels private so even them intimidated person feels they can workout comfortably. Only thing better would be a track to walk on and maybe towels located in more places. Love you can have a locker there and don't need to bring stuff every day there.
