⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hotworx has been an absolute game changer for me! I love that I can choose from such a wide variety of workouts—everything from isometric sessions to high-intensity intervals—and even incorporate free weights for extra strength training. The infrared heat makes a huge difference in how my body feels, helping me recover faster, loosen tight muscles, and get more out of each workout.

As someone with a busy schedule, the 24/7 access means I can fit in a session whenever it works best for me. The workouts are efficient, and I leave feeling energized rather than drained. I’ve noticed a big improvement in my stamina, muscle tone, and overall well-being since joining.

If you’re looking for something that’s effective, time-efficient, and offers variety, Hotworx is worth it. I can’t imagine my fitness routine without it now!

I wanted to share my experience to help others make an informed decision. I originally signed up for a 1-month membership at $59 after being told I could add another member (my boyfriend) for just $20 more, and that he could sign up when he came in for his first visit. That flexibility was the main reason I chose to join.

However, when I returned for my second visit, I was suddenly told that the membership only allowed me to work out alone and my boyfriend could not be added. This completely changed what was promised to me during sign-up.

I would have been okay with paying $79 upfront if that had been clearly communicated from the beginning. What I’m not okay with is being misled. If you're running a promotion or offering a discount, please make sure to document it or provide it in writing, especially if it’s part of your sales pitch.

The classes themselves are good, but the experience left a bad impression due to the lack of clear and honest communication.

Thank you for your response and for clarifying your pricing structure. I understand that running a small business is not easy and I appreciate the effort your team puts into providing a good workout experience.

However, I want to clarify that the confusion wasn’t due to a language barrier. I personally communicated with the staff and my friend was in the same room with me. I was told clearly that I could add my boyfriend later for $20. That statement was a key factor in my decision to sign up. If I had been told that wasn’t possible, I would have reconsidered or chosen a different membership option from the start.

It wasn’t about the amount. I would have been fine paying $79 if that had been made clear upfront. The issue is about being told one thing and then having the terms change after I already signed up. That feels misleading from a customer standpoint, whether or not it was intentional.

I’m sharing this not to damage your business but to offer feedback. If promotions or verbal offers are made, it would help to write them down so there’s no confusion or misunderstanding later.

I wish your team the best moving forward with the improvement.

The gym isn’t bad, but we felt being scammed. The sales person gave us a “deal” but didn’t honor it once we signed up. It’s not a lot of money, but the sales technique isn’t ok from my perspective

Review Title: Extremely Disrespectful and Unwelcoming Behavior by Owner
I’ve never written a negative review before, but what I experienced at Hard Work in Sun Prairie with the owner, Jennifer Lamont, was incredibly upsetting and completely unacceptable. As someone who holds a membership through St. Pete, FL and pays extra to access this gym while I’m in Wisconsin, I expected to be treated like any other client—with respect. However, that was not the case. The volume controls for the studio screen are mounted very high, and I physically cannot reach them. I’ve been using a small stool—already available in the studio—to carefully adjust the volume so I can follow along with my workouts. I was told this issue had been communicated and understood, so I thought it was resolved. But when I walked into the gym today, the owner, Jennifer Lamont, confronted me in a very hostile and aggressive way. Instead of calmly discussing the situation, she began attacking me verbally, saying things like “you’re not even from here,” “you don’t pay me,” and “I don’t benefit from you being here.” Her tone and words were deeply disrespectful and made me feel completely unwelcome.
I calmly tried to explain that I needed the volume in order to follow the class, and I even suggested finding a solution that worked for everyone. But she didn’t listen—she just kept escalating the situation. When I asked for her name so I could report what happened, she refused at first, gave me a dirty look, and walked away. Then she came back and continued speaking to me with hostility, saying things like, “I’m the owner—I don’t have to let you use my stuff.”
Thankfully, one of the St. Pete managers from Florida was on the phone with me and heard everything through the call. She was shocked and confirmed that this behavior is not okay.
No one should ever be treated this way—especially by someone in a position of leadership. I’m a paying customer who simply wanted to enjoy my workout. Instead, I left in tears, feeling disrespected and discriminated against.I’ve since canceled my membership and will not return. I hope this review brings awareness to how this business treats people who are simply trying to take care of their health. Respect and kindness should be a given, not an exception. Subject: ADA Accommodations and Response to Recent, thank you for your response. However, I must respectfully disagree with your version of events and how the situation was handled. As someone with a high challenge position, I have the right to reasonable accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The use of a supportive seat during my workout is not a luxury or a convenience—it is a necessity to ensure my safety &accessibility, especially during isometric poses or when adjusting equipment. You are correct that the conversation involved a metal chair, but you failed to acknowledge that the root issue is the lack of proper, reasonable accommodations that should have been proactively offered &discussed in compliance with ADA requirements.Your claim that I was “not interested in hearing about the potential risk of damage to the studio” is not only inaccurate, but dismissive. I was seeking understanding and support regarding an accessibility need—not trying to damage equipment. Moreover, the tone and approach used was confrontational and lacking in the empathy or professionalism. The way you are now portraying the interaction does not reflect what actually took place. You mention you were “ready to order a stool,” yet this was never communicated to me in the moment. Instead, I felt judged and shut down. Had the issue of a proper, ADA-compliant stool been sincerely presented as a solution. What occurred instead felt discriminatory and invalidating, especially given that no suitable alternative was made available prior to this incident. I ask corporate to immediately reviews its ADA compliance procedures to ensure disabled members are treated with the dignity and accommodation they are entitled to by law.

Nothing like a good sweat to destress the day away and detoxify the body. Since joining HOTWORX, I’m more flexible ( I can touch my toes and not have to bend my knees) LOL. If you don’t have time or want to spend 2 hours at the gym, then HOTWORX is for you. All you need is as little as 15 minutes and as much as 45 minutes to Earn the Burn. With 24/7 access to the studio I could workout anytime of the day.

HOTWORX in Sun Prairie is one of my favorite places to get a powerful whole body workout in. Not only do you get access to a fitness area with weights, but the saunas themselves and the workouts that are offered in them, can truly help with anything that you need in terms of fitness and mental health.

Plus the owner Jen is great to talk to, and is very knowledgeable, motivating, and funny, which is an added bonus to a rejuvenating workout.

If you’re thinking about changing up what you do for your fitness, I would definitely suggest HOTWORX at this location!

I have been a member at the Milwaukee location for about 1 year. I'm moving to Madison soon and these are the same owners. They work hard and are great franchise owners. The drive will be worth it!
