Went with a group of four and barely had fun. We skipped one hole on our own because our pacing was bad, we are new to golf and one of the workers were rude, and talked to us twice. After we skipped a hole, another ranger came up to us and told us to skip another hole, that makes 2/9 holes that we had to skip. Not impressed with the course and might never come back. When we went to bring the clubs back, to the building, she glared at my brother in law and said no with a Rude demeanor, rather than just politely telling us that we had to bring them to another place thatβs what she chose in her mind to do. Other than the worker Barbara bringing down our mood and being rude with the way she handled things, things were fine, she was the flaw of the experience.

I bought a new set of Taylor Made graphite irons on line after a bad service experience at a Duluth retailer forced me to return them. I called the Nemadji pro shop and they said could do the grips and answered every question I had. I brought them there the next day. I wasnβt waited on by just an individual, but a team of friendly staff. I was told theyβd be ready the following day at the latest. I received a call less than two hours later that my clubs were ready. When I came back around 5 pm the shop was busy but the staff acknowledged me, took care of the customers efficiently, and got to me as soon as they could. The cost for the new grips was lower than the other store. Well done. You have my pro shop business for sure.

This is a beautiful 36-hole course. Course is kept in great shape. The staff are friendly and service is always good. The course can get busy, and sometimes you're waiting on the group in front of you. This makes it a great time to just take in the views and scenery around you. I feel like this is one of the better public courses in the area. My golf group makes the drive from Cloquet,MN, each time just to play 18holes. The driving range is a good way to warm up and stretch out before your tee time. Lots of different creatures roam around the course. You never know what you might see. You can even watch the planes take off and land not too far from the course as they fly overhead while playing the west course. Will definitely be back for more golf.

Very new to golf. Went with a group for a bachelor party of six. Understand courses have rules of no groups of six. We told them we were just going to play best ball. So we split into a group of three. We respected the rule of no teams of 6 but the greens were so backed up we ended up all standing around at the tee box for 5-10 min all together. So we just decided to play as six cause it was no faster to play as groups of three. Once we got to about hole nine we ended up running into a Kevin of a ranger after already talking to a different one that had no problem with what we were doing due to how slow the groups ahead of us where going. This so called Kevin made us split up in to a group of three which actually ended up inconveniencing all the group behind us cause we were plying twice as fast until he split us up. I get the rule and understand the problem it can cause. Iβd understand if there was complaints due to rowdy, drunk, idiotic behavior but that was not the case. They had no problem taking our money in the club house knowing what we were doing. The guy at the starting gate was also rude. Every poor customer service skills. He was rude short and not polite at all. I get they have to run a tight ship but seriously learn how to communicate with PAYING CUSTOMERS. The way they carried them selves with there attitudes made our group more upset then splitting us up.

Went golfing at 6:30 pm on a Saturday. All greens, fairways, and tee boxes were in good or better condition. Pace of play for our group to complete 9 holes on the North Course was a tight 90 minutes. Staff was courteous and friendly; power carts were clean. Nemadji has found a way to escape the dryness that so many other courses have suffered from this year because of a lack of rain.

One of the best courses in the Greater Twin Ports area.
With 36 holes, this course offers a fun yet challenging golfing experience. From my experience.
On-site pro shop and restaurant/bar.
Great prices all around and decently maintained carts
Push carts are available.
- West 9 offers a more forgiving round with less hazards and wider fairways.
- East 9 is tighter and more chances of OB, but is the most fun and technical of the courses. (Personal Favorite)
- North 9 is a mix of open and tight fairways and is a fun 9.
- South 9 is the flattest and least technical, which is a perfect round to lower that score.

Had 6 people playing with two tee times. All 6 tee'd off on the first hole and cleared the green 18 minutes before the next groups tee time. The ranger followed and harassed us for the rest of the course to keep us in a group of 4 and 2 which actually slowed us down. Drink cart had no ice but had no problem selling mixed drinks.

A course with 36 holes. Played the east/west course. Course quality overall was mostly ok so overall could've considered this a 3 star. All the greens were in great shape. Only a few fairways could've used a little work. Cart paths were blacktopped with a lot broken or messed up. This was a city course where a number of holes went down and back. But the east 9 really had some different holes and dogleg adding some challenges; for this i up'd it a star. Clubhouse and staff were really good.

Elevation changes on the East course are fantastic.
Some of the fairways and roughs are very dry and in questionable shape, but the greens were firm and rolled true. Overall the course was in decent shape.
The twilight rate there of $10 walking and $15 riding sets it apart, given the quality of the course.
If I am ever up in the Superior/Duluth area again, I will be back.
