First time I ever worked out with a personal trainer and Kenny has made the workouts enjoyable. He knows how to push you to get the most out of the workout. He. Working with Kenny has been great! He makes sure you are lifting properly to avoid injury. He constantly reminds me to breathe - lol. Small group sessions are fun and he is able to provide a personalized experience. If you’ve wanted to try but have been hesitant about strength training, give Kenny a try. He won’t disappoint!

I participate in the small group sessions and am so thankful to be apart of them! Kenny is able to adjust any workout to what my personal strengths and weaknesses are and adjust on the fly to make the workout fun and enjoyable every time! I feel I am much stronger now compared to less than 6 months ago as a result of showing up twice a week. Signing up for training with Kenny was the best decision I’ve made. I’ve always struggled with going to the gym and knowing what to do. Kenny shows you every exercise and then helps correct you if needed. He is knowledgeable and truly cares about each person he trains. When I first started I was doing individual training but have since switched to small group. I thought for sure I was going to be intimidated but that isn’t the case at all. We are all at different levels but can encourage and laugh with each other. I couldn’t recommend Optimized Personal Training more!

I started training with Kenny in March 2024. His classes are amazing! I look forward to the times I get my butt kicked every week. Classes are fun! You're not stuck doing the same movements forever, he tells us what muscles we're working on and demonstrates how to do each one. That's huge for me! I hated going to the gym and not knowing what to do to get the results I want. It's frustrating!
His training sessions are super motivating as well. He's always cheering you on to do your best. He truly wants to see you succeed in your fitness goals.
I'm 42 years old and the best shape I've ever been in. So much stronger and healthier than I was a year ago! I don't even recognize that person from a year ago.
His program has literally changed my life.

Discovering Kenny at Optimized has allowed me to change my life. I have started and stopped and grown bored and frustrated at never seeing results with everything else before finding him. This is the first time in my life I’m nearing a year just as excited and committed as I was when I started! Best part? I’ve actually seen results. I had to buy new clothes. I can carry my kiddo on my shoulders. I can move heavy things. I have less pain and more energy in my life and…. It’s all with less time. The science is there. This works so much better than the five days a week to hammer out something at the gym and never see improvement. Patience and consistency is key, I literally would not work this hard in the gym on my own, so for me this is so valuable to be in a small group where I can put in the magic reps and the hard work. Kenny designs the workouts and shakes it up enough to keep it interesting but effective. More importantly, I’m not sure how he does it, but he always seems to know the exact weight. It always feels too heavy, I’d never pick it on my own at the gym, but he knows his stuff because of the results I’ve seen. He’s literally the best!!!

I've been working with Kenny in one of the small groups for about 3 months and it has been a great experience. He is very organized and always has a plan. I wanted to work on strength training but not have to think about making my own workouts, worry about figuring out the right form, or keep track of what weights I was using. Kenny does all of that and I just have to show up and do the work :). He regularly switches up the workouts so they don't get boring. I wasn't sure about the small group format at first but I really like seeing the same people and encouraging each other.

Another important point is that Kenny is very mindful preventing injury or avoiding worsening an existing injury. Several members of my group, myself included, have had issues (injured knee, shoulder, pecs) that happened outside of our workouts. Kenny will immediately have us stop any exercise that hurts and reduce the weight, adjust the exercise, or change to a different one altogether while still getting a really good workout. I can't stress enough how important this is - at previous place that I went, the staff kept pushing people to take higher weights and do more and more regardless of whether someone was keeping good form or had an injury and the consequences were bad.

Kenny is good at meeting people where they are, it is not necessary to be in good shape already to start working out.

I signed up with Optimized Personal Training and Health Coaching, with Kenny as my personal trainer. I did the virtual 12-week program where he monitored my eating habits and gave me workout programs. The app he had me using was very easy to utilize, and helped me keep track of what lifts I was doing and how much I was lifting! He also sent along videos with the workout programs that demonstrated the lifts and what to watch for. It was very helpful! So far, I have seen really great results from this program. I have also gained great knowledge on what lifts can help transform my body. Kenny is always very positive, motivational, and is very knowledgeable about what he is doing. Whenever I have questions, he always gives instant feedback, which has made this process go very smoothly for me.

I have been a client of Kenny now since early January 2021. Going into my personal training experience I had no idea what to expect. I have tried about a year or so before hand trying to improve my lifestyle without seeing progress. I felt I had done all the research I could have (there are a lot of conflicting opinions out there that make it that much more confusing). Needless to say I got pretty demotivated. As a last stretch effort, I contacted Kenny at Fox Fit and we were able to make a deal work. I had a pretty active and busy lifestyle so full time in person sessions wouldn’t work for me. However, I did somewhat want an in person experience to have someone to motivate me further than I can on my own. Kenny came up with a hybrid experience. I would meet with him once a month and he would test my limits, update my workouts/dietary needs, and track progression. I must say, Kenny is the best for the job! He kept me motivated, interacted with me on my workouts/form, replies to my texts super fast (which helps if you have a question about something when you are in the gym), gives great awarding feedback when you smash a workout, keeps me interested in workouts by changing up the movements, he also makes an effort to check in with me by phone call at least once a week, etc. (the list goes on). I couldn’t be more satisfied with my decision to have Kenny as my personal trainer. I am always seeing progress which is my biggest motivator! If you are currently/were in my situation or looking to better your lifestyle, save yourself the trouble… You are already looking in the right place!

Ps. Thanks Kenny for all the help thus far! I am amazed at how far I’ve come in such a short time. You have changed my life for the better! I just wish I had found you earlier.

The studio environment is not intimidating and welcoming to all levels. Classes are small, usually 3 people max, where Kenny challenges each member to grow stronger every day while making it fun. Classes meet three times a week and members will often receive encouraging text messages from Kenny throughout the week.
