​I absolutely love coming to the Planet Fitness on Howell Avenue in Oak Creek! It truly lives up to its "Judgement Free Zone" philosophy and is by far one of the best gym experiences I've had.
​What really stands out is the exceptional level of cleanliness. The staff does an incredible job of constantly maintaining the equipment and facilities. Everything is always tidy and spotless, which makes a huge difference in having a comfortable workout.
​The atmosphere is also fantastic. Every staff member I've interacted with is genuinely friendly and welcoming. They always have a smile and are quick to assist, which creates a positive and motivating environment. It's a "nice" place in every sense of the word.
​If you are looking for a gym in the Oak Creek area that is reliable, clean, and full of friendly faces, this is the one! I highly recommend this location!

I’ve been a member for about 20 years with auto payment method; I never missed a payment. A week ago, just right after my monthly payment was withdrawn, I was not allowed to get in the gym unless I presented a second payment method. A customer rep who identified himself as “yoyo” told me that when I joined the club the policy stated that two payments methods were required. Really, 20 years ago and they just realized a second payment method was missing? A policy that they were not able to show me?

The fact that planet fitness whole shtick is to be a judge free zone doesn't hold up. Everyone should be welcome to exercise. I tried to bring my son, who is 9, to workout with me. I understand having a minimum age when minors are unsupervised, but to say my 9 yr old can't workout and exercise under my supervision is upsetting to say the least.

I’ve been a member for about two to three weeks, and so far, I’m very impressed. The gym is a decent size and never feels crowded, whether I go in the morning or afternoon. It’s always clean, and the machines are modern and well-maintained. There’s a great variety of equipment, and I can always find something available without waiting. Most people here are friendly and respectful, which makes the atmosphere even better.

Customer service has also been great—they’ve followed up with me on a couple of things, and it feels nice to be heard. Parking has never been an issue—there’s always plenty of space. Overall, it’s been a smooth and enjoyable experience so far.

I really enjoy working out at Planet Fitness. The gym is spacious, and the variety of equipment makes it easy to get in a solid workout. I usually go during off-peak hours, so it’s great having plenty of machines available without the crowds.

My husband does wish they had heavier dumbbells, and we both agree it would be nice if there was a dedicated hip thrust machine like we’ve seen at other gyms. Still, overall, it’s a great place to stay consistent with fitness.

I've been a member for over 5yrs now. I tried out Oak Creek facility and had a very uncomfortable experience and felt harassed. Management had everything to do with my experience. I've left a message with a nice woman from CS for someone to call me back but nothing. I still want to attend this gym but not sure if I feel safe. Hope this franchise owner reaches out to me soon. I gave it a 1 star but could give it a 5 based on the owner taking initiative and email me back. Planet Fitness sent me a non-working email to take my complaint further, smh. I would like a valid email from the Owner of the newly open Planet Fitness in Oak Creek, WI. I've experienced harassment from a member and management was the one to blame for this.

Frustrating to show up at 4 am because their website shows open 24 hrs. Only to discover the doors locked and faded signs. All the lights are on and TV was on. No phone number listed on their site. Safety issue concern for single females being all alone in a dark empty parking lot because of Planet Fitness false advertising. I am dropping my membership with them and going with Anytime Fitness. They are open 24 hours and have available phone number and safety code entrance. Wake up Planet Fitness! Somebody will sue you if they get raped in your parking lot. Also, READ your reviews! Numerous people have taken Uber/Lyft there because of your FALSE advertising.

I can’t say enough good things about this gym and its staff. I travel often and visit lots of planet fitnesses. When passing through town I somehow dropped my wallet at this location. As you can imagine being on a roadtrip and loosing your wallet is stressful. I figured it was gone but did leave my number. Within two days I had a call and they had it. I wasn’t passing back through town for another 5-6 days so they held it safely for me. When I got it back everything including cash was in it. Not to mention the gym and showers were on the top 3 list of cleanest and well maintained of all planet fitnesses I’ve been to. Highly recommend this gym and grateful to those who helped me get my wallet back.

Overall, I like the gym. Clean, big enough, friendly staff. The one issue I have is lately there's an uptick of people camping on machines. They'll sit there for 15-20 mins chatting with their buddies or watching videos on TikTok... I wish the gym would enforce that a little better. Workout, then GTFO!

I moved out of state in April 2023. I came INTO the location to cancel my membership and signed the paperwork in March 2023. Imagine my surprise to see I’ve continuously been charged the membership fee to this day. Great place to workout!! I have been a member since December 2011‼️
However Thomas does not like to greet when we come in. I questioned him about that fact because it is so unlike the high standards that Planet Fitness has instilled in their employees. I work in retail and I also greet my customers as a form of respect that they chose to shop at our store. Please talk to him about that. It doesn’t give a very good vibe as you well know. South Milwaukee Planet Fitness is a good place to workout. They keep the place relatively clean and the hours are convenient especially for the membership price.

My biggest complaint ishaving to use a bank account instead of a credit card for membership dues. It's 2024, let's get with the tines.

I feel planet fitness has every piece equipment you need, the PF-asociates are there to help answer your concerns or teach you how to use equipment.
At times I feel intimated I get through.
We all are at a different fitness level, and body image is my demon. At 67 it's not easy to have that 20 year old body, HA!
So I'm stuck with 67 year old body.
That is ok.
My favorite PF was Racine WI location.

Place used to be great but has slowly fallen
downhill since the pandemic. The mens bathrooms just smells like urine and the soap is either their or not. As well the have no weight machine? It seems like they got rid of that for absolutely no reason. If the goal of the gym is to improve yourself all gyms should have those.

In terms of weight lift training they have most standard items but I would like to see a squat hack and dedicated bench machines. Seems off that a gym should not have those already.

Everytime I walk in I try to have a great work out but all I hear is some toxic rap music that talks about toxic stuff and it repeats in my head and makes me not want to come back, the music seriously needs to change, there is millions of choices with out toxic lyrics, I’m not talking about censored music, I’m talking about this rap genre you guys play on repeat 24/7 it’s getting sickening, the music needs to be upbeat and healthy with no lyrics or at least something that’s not rap, all rap music talks about is toxic things and mostly violence. Other than that the gym is clean and well maintained. Music needs to be changed ASAP TO NON RAP, these rappers are nothing but a menace to society, your gym is about to follow that lead as well.

I have moved around the state a lot and have always come back to PF. Having said that, this is the filthiest PF I have ever been too and it is extremely small. I have gone 4 times and it does not cease to amaze me how the lack of cleanliness is obviously NOT a concern the staff at that facility. Every use I have had of a tanning bed has been disgusting. The beds are never clean or checked to be clean. I have had peoples sweaty foot prints on the benches in the rooms, rugs are dirty, where you hang your clothes are never wiped down, the stand up booth straps are caked with lotions and sweat...it is so disgusting!! My first time in I just wanted to tan and the front desk person didn't even ask me to scan in, saying "its okay just go ahead, your just tanning."
And I should be paying a monthly fee for this lack of concern??
Every piece of equipment I wanted to use was not wiped down by the previous person as you can see sweat on the cushions, just gross!! This place needs to get cleaner or Covid will be back stronger than ever.

Everything about this facility exceeds the standard. The equipment was good, even had a tentative date as to when the broken equipment was going to have maintenance conducted on it. Great lighting, friendly staff, and change rooms were clean and had blow dryers. Showers 🚿 had great water pressure and had the option where water sprays out the wall.

As a black card member I get to use whichever location is closest to me when I want to work out. This location is close to my work. It's not the closest but I do not like the one on whitnal Ave. I gave 4 stars for the only problem is the older equipment. The tanning beds are old as well as the weighed machines. The staff is probably the friendliest of all locations I have been to. The environment is somehow more enjoyable than other locations as well.

The staff is nice and helpful always. And they are there to help - appreciate that. The machines are always clean and in working order - the staff seem on top of any issues and deal with them quickly. And the main area is brightly lit and inviting. The locker rooms are clean and seem well-maintained, which is key to a good club. (I have been in some where the main area was great but the locker rooms were neglected, and this is a major flaw.) Overall, I really like this facility - of those in the MKE area that I have go to, this ranks as the best and the one that I am happy to return to.

It's far too busy for my preference. I find it very uncomfortable to workout in this "assembly" long way. There are no group classes which sucks and there are too many people standing around machines socializing vs actually working out. When did the Saturday evening hours get reduced to 7:00p.m.? Not a welcomed change for those of us who like to work out a little later. I would think that 9:00 or 10:00p.m. like Friday evening would still be reasonable. Also, I don't recall seeing any signage announcing the change in hours. A little notice is always appreciated.
