The entire Planet Fitness staff here is incredible, but someone who goes above and beyond every day is Michael. I just moved to the area a few weeks ago, and everyday I come in Michael always has a smile on his face, and actually enjoys his job and spends time interacting with guests. Alongside this, I’ve noticed during downtime Michael never just stands around; he’s constantly cleaning, reracking equipment, or talking with guests, but he does all of this with urgency and a sense of enjoyment. I’m writing this in hopes, Michael gets the recognition he deserves, and that more employees can embody his character.

Great gym. Great compared to some of the other PF locations I've been to as well. Truly the staff is the biggest standout. Always friendly, let's you know when equipment is broken or out of order, keep a good lost and found I've utilized more than I like to admit, and quick to respond when disaster strikes like flooding in the women's locker room that happened recently.

I came in for a very quick cardio session, 20 minutes. I arrived just after the flooding happened and when I went back into the locker room almost everything was cleaned up. If it were up to me they'd all get raises (a friend used to work at a PF in Milwaukee and I know they probably should get raises). Also shout out to their great manager!

Would really like the hours on Friday and Saturday evenings to go to midnight. Not everyone has plans. Many weekends, I wish I could work out. Hope you might consider this. These hours are inconvenient.

Very often there's never anyone at the front desk. You have to stand there and hope wherever they are they see you and then come up. The facilities are generally kept well kept.

The current staff is all extremely welcoming and do their best to stay attentive to their gym goers. Things are almost always clean unless dirtied literally right before you walked up to it. As far as other gym members go nearly all are accepting and nice. Of course there will always be a few that come off as stand offish but there is enough space (most days) to work around them and still enjoy your experience there

They advertise a free day pass to try out the gym. In reality they charge 20 dollars for the day. When I suggested 20 dollars was a lot of money to just try out the equipment they said the day pass was good for 24 hours lol. I will NEVER step foot In that facility again.

The workers say the place is not a judgment zone but when you see the other people working out and they see you working out on the treadmill and you know that you're really fat and they start judging you right away giving you dirty looks My girlfriend goes inside the female locker room to change and the ladies judge her also because she's a little overweight but not by much she is always beautiful in my eyes no matter what she looks like. The workers should really start talking to those people that start judging not just standing behind the desk

I cannot tell you how blessed I am to have this PF to go to. From Carolina to AJ, Lars, Riley, Corin this team is family to me. They have encouraged and helped me through Rehab of surgeries and just generally lifted my spirits when I have been down. So much so that one day I may apply to work with them. I believe that God has given me this place to encourage others here as well. I call this my working man’s gym. No high price, no inflated claims, just real people serving real people. I’m a veteran and a lot of my fellow vets come here as well. The place is a community of goodness.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I would have given it three starts if it wasn’t for my Horrible experience with the club manager, AJ, at the Sheboygan location. I’ve been a member for over a decade and due to me going to another, better equipped and cleaner gym, I decided it was time to cancel. I called and they told me they couldn’t cancel over the phone, so I canceled IN PERSON. Come 1/01/2025,a few short weeks after I canceled I get charged $39 from planet fitness. I called to get a refund from this charge thinking it was a mistake, but instead was told there was no record of me canceling. I was met with hostility, rudeness, and unprofessionalism from AJ. Not only did he hang up on me, but he assured me that all of his employees are trained how to cancel memberships, and asked me if I was sure that I came in to cancel. When I asked for a corporate or regional manager number and he refused. AJ even went as far as telling me he only has the regional managers personal email and he can’t give it out. I highly doubt a company as big as planet fitness has its managers communicate via personal emails. AJ’s lying, rudeness, and hostility should be an embarrassment for the company.

Judging by the over dozen reviews saying they have had a very similar experiences, it really makes me wonder how planet fitness hasn’t updated their cancellation policy and replaced some club managers.

Besides the absolute disgusting treatment of people trying to cancel memberships, the gym was just okay.some days it was clean other days the bathrooms wreaked of urine and were filthy, really depended on who was working. The equipment was fine, nothing fancy just run of mill stuff, but it was adequate.

Besides for AJ, the club manager, most of the workers were fine. You could obviously tell some cared more then others based on the cleanliness and how the greet you at the desk.

If you are looking for a gym, I would absolutely stay clear of planet fitness in Sheboygan, until they get their policies more member friendly and until they invest some time and money into some professional development for their club managers.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Planet Fitness in Sheboygan, WI. They have a policy requiring biometric data, including taking a photo, which is something they’ve never done to me in the past. When I questioned the need for the photo and requested more information, the employees became very upset and defensive. Instead of offering clarification, they rudely suggested I cancel my membership if I wasn’t comfortable with the biometric data collection procedure. This is absolutely unacceptable. I don’t appreciate being treated like this for simply asking a valid question. It’s clear that customer service and respect are not priorities at this location. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Usually the same some days packed some days not as much just sucks not all the machines work like they mechanically work but some of the machines like the cycling machines tv screen work outs don't sync with the bike so it just stays at zero and turns off other then thatvits just any other gym.
