Normally love this place, but they dude (half fro looking haircut) working Oct 17th EARLY in the morning, around 2am sucks. I'm up at the counter waiting forever to tan and red light, phones are ringing, he's mia. Finally he appears, I ask for the hybrid... I get completely naked, power doesn't work... he didn't set the right one... after i confirmed with him. So I go up to the desk, of coarse he's not there... I knock on the door he's hiding behind, no answer... this dude is trying to get fired lol...

I get it being 3rd shift... you may not be around every second, but he was nowhere. Not cleaning, not in the bathroom... nowhere... for a looooong time.

My experience while I was there was great. However, I canceled my membership back in June, and I'm still being charged 3-4 months later. I have called every month since I canceled, and everytime they have told me "this will be your last bill". I'm beyond frustrated, and at this point, they're just stealing my money. I don't know what to do to stop getting billed, and I'm so incredibly pissed off!

This place is huge. I like that there is a ton of space. I went here once and was blown away by how massive the locker room and gym area were compared to my home location. I think the gym could benefit from more sanitizer stations toward the center of the gym. Since it's so big and they are only around the perimeter I feel like people are less inclined to spray down the equipment when they are done using it.

I’ve been coming to this gym consistently since February. When I walk in the door I am greeted by smiles and hello’s! Truly everyone there is amazing. My above and beyond’s that I see on a regular basis are Bailey, Jaron, Alex, Alan, Mary, Chris, Chanel, Nolan and Ruben!

I thought about going to a big fancy gym but the gym family here is unmatched. Truly a judgement free zone and if you ever need help with a new machine the other members are super helpful!

This location is by far one of the cleanest and friendlier staffed PF locations I frequent. It was horrible! My 74 yr old mother went in for her 1st time & using a walker she needed my assistance to the hydro-beds which she looked forward to having a massage to hopefully relieve some of her arthritis in her body. I was going to tan as her guest however they said I couldn't(her insurance didn't cover it?) so after asking the employees to go & help her I waited outside. 20min. later my mom came out just to tell me she couldn't reach her walker since neither one of the employees that I asked to help her ever turned the bed on or bothered to check on her! She laid there yelling for help the whole time & nobody came! This place is NOT a "judgement free" establishment! They treated my mother so poorly & neglected her to the point that she will never return! They don't care about people here, just your money!

I was hesitant to sign up as a PF Black Card member because I'd heard rather bad reviews. Still wanted to give it a go for the Black Card amenities!

PF Waukesha Staff pleasantly surprised me by being understanding and helpful. Their staff and personal trainers provided excellent service, at the low membership price! They were very accommodating. Wish I could tip them!

If you're going to sign up for a Planet Fitness membership, Waukesha is the location to use! Beware of Brookfield and Pewaukee.

I use Planet Fitness as my secondary gym for cardio and the gym is fine for what it is but this location is one of the busiest and they only have 4 stair masters. They have 22 ellipticals which are rarely in use and shouldn’t be bc they don’t do anything.

They need double the stair masters and once they get more I will edit my review.

PF Waukesha has a new employee who is a person with a disability. He greeted me and was friendly when I entered and scanned me in without issue. All is well. I went to buy a drink from the cooler and he politely informed me that he had not been trained on that yet. The long time employee, who was also at the counter, rolls his eyes, shakes his head, and very causally says “well it’s a good thing that I was standing here so somebody could help her.” (As if I wouldn’t have just went and found another employee to ring me up had he not been standing there?) When I tell you I was so taken aback, I was so disgusted by the interaction that I left my workout early. The long term employee also did not make a point to train this specific employee on ringing people up, even after the interaction. Inaccessibility to equal job training is discriminatory and ableist. Furthermore, making microagressive comments that imply superiority over a disabled employee is vile and creates a hostile work environment. The long term employee had a clear bias, unwillingness, and prejudiced view of his colleague. Y’all need some inclusivity and diversity training asap. Do people really feel no shame in treating others poorly? 10/10 disappointed and have officially switched to a different home gym.

After my husband's 2nd brain tumor surgery I signed him up at the gym to help with his rehabilitation. After several months he seemed like he needed more motivation so, I decided to sign myself up so we could do it together and encourage each other. However, I found the "sign up" kiosk a little confusing and I wanted clarification of the fees. I asked for help and that's when Alfonso Gonzalez (Waukesha) came to the rescue! Alfonso explained the different plans and options more thoroughly. He was extremely patient and polite while also being professional. Never condescending! He also gave me recommendations about possible insurance coverage for my husband's disabilities which I'm looking into. I wanted to write this asap so I wouldn't forget. Cancelation is like pulling teeth. I went through their avenues for canceling and got charged for another 3 months. They won't answer the phone, won't respond to emails, and won't respond to the letter that I mailed them per their cancelation policy. I don't live in the area anymore so I can't just swing in and tell them to stop taking my money. My choices seem to be canceling my credit card or flying home to tell them in person I'm no longer interested in their gym. Thats not to mention how lackluster the gym is anyways. Always too busy with people breathing down your neck to use whatever you're currently using. Couldn't recommend this place less.

Edit: If I could give negative stars I would. This is legitimately the worst interaction I've had with a company in my entire life. After reaching out 5 months ago about them refusing to cancel my membership they managed to find a way to begin charging my checking account directly! I’ve been a loyal member to the Planet Fitness located in Waukesha, WI for quite some time now, but my recent experience has left me extremely disappointed, particularly with the management. Addy, the manager on duty, exemplified a disregard for customer satisfaction that was truly disheartening.

My girlfriend and I decided to go to Planet Fitness for an evening tanning session. During this visit, I was refused access to a tanning bed, not because it was occupied or undergoing maintenance, but because Addy decided she wanted to use it for herself while she was working. It's astonishing to see management prioritize their own convenience over ensuring that all members are treated fairly and respectfully.
I felt completely disrespected during this. Addy’s attitude suggested that her needs and preferences took precedence over those of paying customers. It's unacceptable to feel like a second-class citizen in a place where I've invested my time and money.

I expected better from Planet Fitness. However, this experience has made it clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for them, especially when it conflicts with the preferences of management. Until they address this issue and instill a culture of fairness and respect for all members, I cannot in good conscience recommend Planet Fitness to others

It’s a brand new location with the newest equipment compared to the other three locations I have been to as a Black Card Member (Downtown Milwaukee, Brookfield South, Oconomowoc). Everything is in working order! My only constructive criticism is that the smith machines (squat racks) are cramped near the free weight dumbbells so it can feel congested. I wish the design team at corporate would get rid of the 30-minute work out zone (yellow workout area) as I rarely see it being used and I think other equipment could be better utilized in that space.
Either way, this location is great and has ample parking and a great staff working there! Highly suggest it!

This store went downhill fast. The store MANGER has walked away from me trying to approach her. She walked in the doors behind the desk after seeing me walk her to the counter. Tried getting my mom in the gym for the first time so we thought the "judgement free zone" would be the perfect place. We tried getting her a free day pass to try it out. I was a transfer from xperience fitness. When like many others, did not want to be. After the first month I canceled my membership. As I found a new gym. They have continued to take money out of my account. I've called on multiple occasions asking to speak with a manager or billing department and they are all either busy or I get the "they'll call you back" never have I gotten a call back. On one occasion I was told I was infact inactive. And they srent taking out. I physically had to go and show them bank statements they they were still taking out. I even got to the point where i told them I will wait on the phone for a manager... they hung up after 45 mins of waiting.

It's been months, multiple phone calls, no manger, no refund, still no solution. Very disappointed to say the least.

I have experienced six different Planet Fitness centers, and I am most impressed by this one here in Waukesha. The facility is large and fully equipped, ensuring that even during busy times it does not feel overcrowded. It is obvious that they care a lot about the cleanliness of the areas as a top priority. The Black Card Spa is completely worth it! The hydro beds provide great therapy after a challenging workout or even just a hard day at the office. (There are massage chairs, tanning beds, vibrating and light therapy rooms and hybrid rooms as well.)

My favorite part is the staff here. I feel energized by them even on the days when I would rather not be working out. They are always positive and encouraging and I especially appreciate their willingness to answer my questions. Andrew and Caitlyn have been exceptional time and time again. They have a clear understanding of the diverse client base as well as the corporate values, which is what makes Planet Fitness such a great place to have a membership! (Thank you Andrew and Caitlyn!! My wife and I went to planet fitness in Waukesha to get gym memberships. The young manager was very rude and tried to rush us to a kiosk. All we asked was one question and she refused to answer until we signed into the kiosk. Would not recommend this place.

Probably the best planet fitness I've ever been to. Albeit there is a couple issues. Only one changing room for such a big complex. Showers only have the one curtain not the 2 where you can bring your items in and keep them dry. Not enough sanitation stations. Otherwise so much parking and treadmills the options for lay down aqua beds is nice. The newer tanning beds. The scale was missing buttons but still works. Does suck more planet fitness places couldn't be like this one.

I love the variety of machines and free weights, the room for stretching, the cleanliness of the facility including locker rooms is huge, and the friendliness of the staff. I just wish they'd have a spa and a pool.

As an 18 year Xperience/Cardinal Member:

Xperience:
Pros- large size, free weights, variety and quantity of cable machines and cardio
Cons- questionable integrity (confirmed), dirty

PF
Pros- clean, nice staff
Cons- barely any free weights, no cardio variety, limited quantity and variety of cable machines

As for charges everyone is mentioning, after waiting for 6 weeks on PF, I had to cancel my credit card since PF was charging the Xperience fee which is 3x what PF is.

We have been told for 3 months since Experience closed and transferred our membership to Planet Fitness that we can stop membership. They have continued to take out $19.79 each for my husband and I. The old “checks in the mail”. They now owe us $118.74 and we have to make another trip there to tell them again to stop the membership that we didn’t want in the first place! Poor customer service!

I didn’t actually work out there, I just stopped in to get a refund when Xperience Fitness closed,but they have great hours and it was a clean environment with nice equipment. Nothing fancy, but not trying to be. The young lady behind the counter was so friendly that I actually considered looking into a place that I have mocked for years 🤷‍♂️. I heard that these clubs vary, but my experience at their Waukesha location though brief was all good 👍

Planet fitness is always spotlessly clean and the staff members are super friendly and kind. The equipment and weights are always maintained and in good working order. And they have plenty of treadmills so that even during peak hours you can still find one that's available. And you cannot beat the membership price! Love, love, love!

This Planet is a clean, modern facility located on the same lot as Woodman's. Both the fitness area and the locker rooms are spacious, which is accommodating because this location tends to be moderately to heavily busy.

I can’t believe that experience fitness gave away my personal data along with my financial data to planet fitness. Tried call planet fitness headquarters along with Waukesha branch to no avail. No one answers the phone at the branch store. They auto deducted a monthly payment with out my concent. I know others are not happy with this situation also. Bad taste in my mouth and haven’t even stepped in the gym yet.
