Superb Health is the perfect fit for the body and mind oriented person. I discovered Nick during Covid and needed to improve my mental and physical health. Through a customized program of exercise, intentional breathing, and community self-awareness with other patrons, I was able to overcome mental and physical limitations. Give it a shot. It is worth the assessment and dedicated commitment from Nick to your whole wellbeing. He integrates the highest grade Japanese teas and supplements into your program if you are open to it. It’s been almost five years and I plan on continuing indefinitely. In person and online programs available!

I’ve worked out with Nick for 2+ years. Over this period I have built up my core strength, he has taught me to eat better and has also helped me mentally with issues that come up in our everyday busy lives. I would highly recommend Nick to any one who is looking for a personal trainer. He really cares about your health, your wellbeing and seeing you succeed and meet your goals.

I've been working with Nick as part of the MSOE Rowing team for two years now, and I have come to appreciate the breadth and depth of training that he guides us through.
Nick trains the body and mind, through years of experience and techniques from around the world. Training with Nick has lead me to be more confident and feel amazing both in my sport and outside of it, instead of wondering when the next time I'll get injured is.
During sessions there are always deep conversations about philosophies and life and you can tell Nick cares deeply about having the best for his clients, and I have learned an incredible amount and overall feel like a better person because of it.

Now 4 years with Nick, original post was 3 years ago and still holds true - I cannot recommend Nick Lynch enough! I have been working with Nick for about a year. I was introduced to Nick through work and started by joining a couple breath work group sessions. I quickly noticed Nick’s passion for what he is teaching and realized the potential of working with him individually. Nick is not simply a fitness trainer, but a life coach who is a great resource for fitness, diet, mindfulness techniques, and alternative therapies. Nick comes from a place of no judgment and teaches you how to optimize your wellness, by helping you understand yourself. He is a sounding board and often has an interesting anecdote or unconventional wisdom that gives you a new perspective. As a byproduct of working with Nick I’ve noticed significant improvements in both my personal life and career. Our sessions are done via zoom due to my location, so even if you are not in the Milwaukee area, I recommend reaching out to Nick to see how he can help you too.

I have been working with Nick for over three years, primarily through remote Zoom sessions. He combines breathwork and physical training in a customized way - keeping me engaged and focused on continued improvement. It's not a one size fits all approach and he has a sense of when a change is needed. I would highly recommend Nick and Superb Health & Performance.

This is my previous review and it all holds true to this day! I can’t recommend Superb Health enough!
I have been working out with Nick at Superb health for ~10 years now and I can't say enough good things about his program. In that time I have had 2 children and some surgery and through it all Nick has been able to develop training programs to keep me challenged and push me to be a better person. I say that line about being a better person because you aren't just there getting yelled at to work out he legitimately cares about your well being and wants you to be happy. Many days I have gone in on a total lack of sleep or some other issue and we just sit down and talk through things while stretching out just doing some light body weight exercises....and that is exactly what I needed on those days.
If you want a trainer who is going to scream at you and force you to do things you aren't comfortable with then this is not the place for you. If you want someone to help you develop as a person/athlete/parent then Superb Health is where you want to be. As far as the actual workouts he really tailors a program for your specific goals. At this stage in my life I value strength and flexibility but at some point I will get back into being "in shape" (when my kids are a little older and I don't have the same time constraints) and when that day comes he will be there to push me toward towards that goal! If you have a goal for yourself and need someone to help you on your journey I would recommend you call in and schedule a meeting immediately

We’ve had a fantastic experience working with Nick Lynch at Superb Health and Performance in Mequon. Nick has been instrumental in helping both my 12-year-old and 14-year-old train and condition for AAA hockey over the last year and a half. His knowledge, professionalism, and ability to connect with young athletes set him apart.
Nick not only designs workouts that are challenging and effective, but he also takes the time to teach proper form, technique, and the “why” behind each exercise. My kids look forward to training with him and have made noticeable improvements in their strength, endurance, and overall confidence on the ice.
I highly recommend Nick and Superb Health and Performance to any family looking to give their athlete an edge. He truly cares about his athletes’ progress and it shows in the results.

Nick is very, very good at what he does. My two boys (12 & 14 now) have been working with Nick for almost 2 years and we all agree that the workouts with Nick have shown results and are highly effective at building strength, endurance, agility and overall performance. Both boys are high level hockey players and would not be where they are today without supplemental off-ice training. Nick is one of the best in town.

Both of our kids have worked with Nick. We were excited for both of them to gain a better understanding of their bodies, mind, and spirit. It is not common to find a trainer who can do all of this with athletes. Nick has definitely set himself apart from the typical trainer/coach. Both kids enjoyed every session, even though they were being challenged physically and taught new skills. Because of these sessions, I often hear them talk about applying the breathwork techniques to their daily life. Thank you, Nick for helping our kids get one step closer to understanding themselves physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Superb Health and Performance has been a transcendental part of my physical and spiritual development. Personal wellbeing has been the most essential aspect of my training at superb. Meditations, breath work, and conversations with Nick is where the real transformation happens. I come to Nick Lynch about everything and anything and after each session I feel extremely rejoiced.
Trust and accountability makes or breaks relationships and results and is what has made the difference in all success I’ve seen through Superb. The relationship I’ve been able to build with Nick, myself, and God rely on those agreements.
Nick is an extraordinary trainer and truly is world class. The work we’ve done has paved the way for endless opportunities to present themselves. I’m blessed to have such a resource in my corner and I’d recommend him to all. Superb is more than a gym, it’s been a lifestyle and a commitment to my highest self.

I have been going to Superb for a little under a year, and I can confidently say that Nick is the best trainer I have ever had. Training with Nick has been second to none and a true game changer for me on and off the ice. The environment inside his gym is free of judgment and full of creativity. From various forms of training to meditation, not only has my play improved, but my mental strength has developed into something I never believed it could become. What I believe makes Nick stand out is that his support goes beyond hockey. Nick advocates for a happy and peaceful life with or without physical things like hockey. The lessons I learn in Nick’s gym offer me new perspective and peace that will stick with me for the rest of my life. My favorite part of Superb is that Nick cares just as much as I do, and I feel truly comfortable expressing who I am every time I enter his gym.

Nick is the best strength trainer I have worked with in my time of athletics. He is very well studied on what he is teaching and approaches his programs with purpose. I saw large amounts of growth in my strength from workouts we did, as well as the ability to train more from the way he was teaching us to take care of our bodies. Overall I would recommend him to anyone looking to take athletics seriously at the college or pro level. Also some background on me I was a rower for MSOE and he helped our team qualify for Two National Championship races and the Charles (the biggest race in the world) as our strength coach.

I have been involved in college athletics as a coach since 1993. The services provided by Nick Lynch at Superb Health have been the best I have ever been a part of. Nick teaches professional level lifting techniques and programs. He is the instructor, not some intern or assistant. He offers nutritional instruction, breathing techniques and mental training for race strategy. Nick prepares the students for success through accurate, pinpoint lifts catered to the motion of the rowing stroke as well as putting the students in the right head space for the tasks they are to complete. We are lucky to be training with an instructor that cares so much for the athletes he teaches.

This is still true; wrote it originally ~3.5 years ago, and am editing to bump this to the top and re-affirm the review below.
TLDR: Nick has the unique expertise to help you become the best you that you can be and changed my life in ways that other providers and approaches couldn’t.
I’ve been working with Nick for ~5 years and, if I’m being realistic, it has changed my life. I started working with Nick during a low-point in my life when I was seeking relief from constant, daily suffering with emotional roots and physical consequences. I had pursued other avenues to address these afflictions, some healthy and some not, but I always felt there was something incomplete. I never felt like I was receiving treatment or assistance that truly addressed the root of my struggles. Fortunately, this all changed when I met Nick.
During our first section, Nick explained the “hierarchy of needs” so to speak, and how quelling the discomfort of the nervous system was the first step towards a holistic sense of peace; it is only when the nervous system is in a state of peace that the deepest aspects of one’s emotional life can be expressed, understood, and molded.
Throughout the next number of months, we worked extensively on the relationship between my nervous system, thought patterns, and emotions. We focused on the shifts in perspective that enabled me to take responsibility for my life, laying the foundation for me to make the fundamental changes necessary to shift from a perspective of external lack to internal abundance. This path included a holistic, customized mixture of physical practices like breath work and cold exposure, emotional work stemming from various perspectives and methods of therapeutic experts, and spiritual work such as meditation and buddhist theory.
With this practice I began feeling comfortable in my body, shoes, and mind. I began to reconnect with some terrific, joyful parts of myself that I had been tuned out by fear and self-judgement for over a decade.
Now, I continue my work with Nick not to remedy what I believe to be wrong with myself, but to maximize my impact and contribution in different areas of my life. I am more spiritually and emotionally in-tune with myself and others, I am more grateful and present, and I feel a more sincere generosity and compassion for the world than I would have previously imagined possible. It’s almost like the wisdom traditions that Nick pulls from have existed for thousands of years for a reason.
Nick and Superb Health helped me become holistically aligned with myself in a way that is priceless and will impact me for the rest of my life. If you want to be stronger in mind, body, and spirit and leave a more positive impact on those around you, I think working with Nick is worth a shot.

Nick and I began working together prior to a scheduled surgery. Our goals we’re maintaining strength and creating a sense of peace and acceptance through breath work. Nick’s vast knowledge of emotional and physical wellness safely carried me through surgery and recovery. His ability to listen, understand and encourage his clients to identify and reach goals is like nothing I’ve experienced with any coach or trainer. He is an outstanding asset for anyone looking to perform at their best in all areas of life.

I have had the opportunity to work with Nick over the last year. He has not just been a great trainer for me but a great mentor as well. Coming off an injury, I was looking for someone that would be able to cater not just to my needs in terms of training but also someone who could assist me with my rehab. At first, I was still determining what to expect as Nick's training style is different than most gyms I had been to. I quickly fell in love with his training style. As a hockey player, I was looking for something that could challenge me in different ways to take my game to the next level, physically and mentally.
When my training began, I quickly discovered how all the work I was putting in with Nick was starting to translate to advancements in my game. His ability to program workouts to work different muscle groups that you might not think of working in the past, has helped me become much more stable on the ice. Heading into my first collegiate hockey season and coming off an injury, I knew I needed my body to be in the best possible shape, and I accomplished that in time with Nick before heading off to school.
Since being at school, I have still been able to work with Nick more on the mental aspect of my game. Coming off an injury, there is no doubt that you will doubt your body, but when I got to school, Nick and I started to work on my mental game even more, to continue growing all aspects of my life. This time working on my mental game has allowed me to grow as a leader for my team, trust my body in hockey situations, and many more aspects of life.
I have loved working with Nick over the last year, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for both of us. I would easily recommend Superb to anyone looking to improve their physical and mental health, no matter their age or background.

Working with Nick and the Superb Health & Performance (SHP) community has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health, fitness, and wellbeing. Whether one-on-one or in larger group sessions, Nick’s program is tailored to your personal performance goals, needs, and limitations. Most significant, I think, is that many of the exercises and techniques you learn through Nick at SHP (e.g., breath work, core training) are not limited to the gym – you can use them at home and at work, weaving them into your daily routine for continued progress and long-term results. I recommend SHP for anyone looking for a comprehensive, well-balanced approach to health and fitness.

Nick is easily the best trainer I have ever had during my hockey career. He teaches you things that you have never thought about and makes me a stronger person in all aspects of life. In the gym he pushes you and is just a contagious environment to be around because everyone wants to get better. His breathe work and meditation is the best I have eve been apart of too. He makes you mentally stronger person if it's on the ice or off. Nicks dedication to his job is amazing, he wants to make everyone better no matter who they are and where they have came from. He brings high positive energy to every session I have with him and is always fully present. Nicks workouts also make me mentally and physically stronger every single time. Nick is an amazing person all around and would recommend him to anyone!

I have been training with Nick Lynch for the past 4 years now. I spend my summers in his gym 4 time a week with his help to get myself into shape for my upcoming hockey season. Nick is unlike any trainer I have ever had. He specializes the workout to my needs. His ability to prioritize your individual needs during a group session and alters the group workout so the you individually get the most out of your time. Nick is not only focused on improving yourself physically but also emotional. Nick cares about you as a human, he asks about your career and even takes his personal time to come watch his athletes. Nick Lynch is unlike any other trainer I have heard of.
While i have been away from home playing junior hockey, i have experienced some hard times in my hockey career. Nick has been there as a mentor to me, to help me deal with my emotions and problems in a healthy way. This to me is what sets Nick apart from the rest. Now, almost a year beyond, we still schedule calls every week to discuss problems are areas where I want to get stronger in my mental game.
Nick Lynch is truly a one of a kind trainer that works his hardest for his clients. I have built an unbelievable connection with Nick over the 4 years, and if your looking for a trainer, as an athlete or not, I would pick up the phone and give Nick a call!

I have been working with Nick for over 2 years and he has helped me immensely. Not only has he helped to improve my physical strength but also develop mentally. He has a different approach that focuses on the balance between physical and mental training, which has played a big part in my development. Also finding ways to continue to train and get better around injuries, covid, busy schedules or otherwise. Introducing different and highly beneficial techniques to training have helped me grow as an athlete and a person. He is very dedicated towards helping his clients succeed and I would not be where I am today were it not for training here.

Nick is unlike any other trainer I have ever worked with. He doesn’t just write up a workout on the white board and say “do this”. He goes over every detail to every exercise, which I truly believe has helped me become a better athlete. Other than teaching me the physical side of being an athlete, Nick has also taught me about the mental and emotional side of being an athlete, the most important part to being a superb athlete. Many people neglect this training, but Nick embraces it, which makes his training so unique and special.

Superb Health was recommended to me by a health professional. I had chronic knee pain which caused me to stop taking walks and riding my bike. I first went to an orthopedic doctor who recommended injections in my knee. I did not want to begin going regularly for pain management and wanted a healthier approach to pain.
At Superb Health I was taught to change my walking gait to correctly move. My constant knee pain is gone. The focus of my personal training includes core strengthening, mind-body connections and changing my old toxic beliefs into a new self accepting life. Life is a journey and as a 71 year old woman I continue to grow, and take chances with new experiences in life ....thanks to Superb Health.

I have been training at Superb Health Gym for over one year. I am very happy about my results. I highly recommend Nick to all my friends and family. I worked with personal trainers before. But never had such a significant progress. So what set Nick apart? He is capable of working around my collection of injuries I acquired during last 50 years. He tunes up every single workout to my maximum capability of the particular day. So I can safely (no more injuries) get in to better shape to have better quality of my life.

I was referred to Nick to strengthen a shoulder injury which I had for many years. Previously, I worked with various trainers at different gyms and there isn't one quite like training with Nick. He has a different approach to training/ becoming stronger. After the six months that I have worked with him, I am not only stronger physically, but stronger mentally. I learned about being mindful, using breath work, releasing stress, and just being healthier overall. Best of all, my shoulder has no pain. His training is priceless. Thank you Nick!!

I have been training with Nick Lynch and Superb Health since October of 2018.
I have a long history with training, athletics and martial arts, and I write this review because I want to be truthful about my experiences with athletic endeavors and training with different trainers and gyms.
Before my time with Nick, I’ve worked with other trainers and kettlebell instructors and found my training to be lacking in some way. At the time, I could not put my finger on it, but now, looking back on it, I have a better idea. So many fitness studios are run like “lifestyle” businesses, where your workout time is spent doing a workout of the day, often times in small groups and under the supervision of an assistant instructor who maybe has 3 years (if that) of fitness experience. There might be a little bit of time working on technique in the beginning, but really the purpose of these places is to work up a sweat, breathe hard and bond with others over the shared hardship of your workout. You leave the gym pumped up with endorphins, and you truly feel like you accomplished something during that time. There’s nothing wrong with that model, but as a competitive Jiu Jitsu athlete, I wanted a training that would take me to the next level.
When I first began working with Nick, I immediately appreciated his different approach to training. Nick emphasizes building strength from the inside-out in order to build functional movement patterns. In our first couple of sessions, we worked on proper breathing and posture, how to walk correctly and how to crawl. We spent a lot of time in the beginning by strengthening the core through various workouts and we hammered down the details of kettlebell techniques until they were close to functionally perfect. All of this was to build a solid foundation for more strength and more mobility.
As our training progressed, I noticed that the strength work we did actually restored and gave back to my body rather than take away from my body. I left our sessions feeling rejuvenated and strong, not torn down and weak. This is important because it allowed me to train through grueling jiu jitsu sparring sessions later in the evenings without leaving my body hunched over, out of alignment and dragging my knuckles on the floor. I was exhausted, sure, but my body was intact and my movement patterns were still functional, which allowed me to avoid preventable injuries on the mats and recover quicker for the next session.
Of course, I got stronger. With proper form, breath and mechanics, my numbers on the back squat and deadlifts shot up dramatically (to this day, I never wear a belt for squats and deadlifts, because I know how to properly engage my core). I could do more pull-ups than ever before in my life. On the mats, my core strength and my grip strength has paid dividends in my ability to impose my will on opponents.
Above all else, what makes Nick and Superb Health special is that Nick brings every part of himself into Superb Health, and this truly is a rare thing. Because Nick himself was a competitive athlete, because he was a martial artist, because he is a business owner, a father of two, and so on, Nick is able to reach that many more people. His clientele range from burgeoning high school athletes who want to achieve their athletic goals all the way to successful business men, retirees and family men and women who have to juggle their responsibilities between work and family. Nick is able to work with and strengthen all of these folks because, in some way, he can identity with all of them. It is Nick’s empathy that allows him to tune into our emotions and recognize what we, the individual person in front of him, needs and to create a program that meets those needs.
For these reasons, I wholeheartedly endorse Nick Lynch and Superb Health. No one else in the greater Milwaukee area comes close.

I can personally say my experience working with Nick Lynch has been life changing. The perseverance and grit that I have built up over the past two summers that I have spent with him has really made me a better person physically, mentally, and emotionally. Originally I came to him seeking help for a hip impingement that had developed from years of playing hockey. My goal was to avoid surgery on my hip, but the end result was so much more than what I had ever expected. The amount of new relationships that I have made during his workouts and the therapeutic quality that he has when motivating me to do better helped me reach for greater things. His training made me noticeably stronger, not only in my hip but the rest of my body, and my play during the time I have spent working with him has improved dramatically.
One idea that I have worked with Nick a lot on for my training is accountability. He holds me to the same expectations that he holds himself, including the amount of effort that I put into my workouts and keeping to a weekly schedule. He breaks my old habits as well, I used to favor my left hip over my right one. For example when I squat I would always favor my left side when going up, but now that I have worked to balance out both sides, I no longer have that problem.
Last year I ended up not getting the opportunity that I wanted in my hockey career. I was devastated and Nick showed me how to deal with those emotions by presenting them center stage in my mind, accepting them, and moving on towards other goals. I learned that letting my feelings dwell in the back of my mind isn’t a mindset for improvement. Nick’s best interest for all of his clients is to learn how to accept failure and become better because of it. He is fully prepared to help with challenges that everyone is facing, big or small.
The Superb Health gym is always an open space for whatever mindset I am in at the time. It’s the best workout place in MKE and I would recommend Superb Health to anyone, athlete or not.

I started training with Nick Lynch at Superb Health about a year ago. The training I have received from him has been thorough and designed precisely for my needs. I have felt much stronger for kickboxing and jujitsu and even working as a chiropractor in my office. There are a lot of myths about training that Nick helps to debunk and get you on your way to better health. His emphasis on posture and breathing have been key to my results
We have been so impressed by his knowledge and expertise that we have felt comfortable of referring many of our patients to him for strengthening and work hardening. I have been very happy with the results. I recommend anyone looking for a personal trainer to contact him for an initial consultation. Working with Nick has changed me, not only as a hockey player but as an individual, in ways, I didn’t think was possible. It has been a tremendous experience and I wouldn’t be where I am today without his help. The insight he offers into parts of both the mental and physical training worlds are second to none. His dedication and passion for making his athletes better is something that has driven me and inspired me. One of the things that have really helped me recently is vulnerability work. I contribute the majority of the success I’ve had this year, not only in games but in practice as well, and my newfound consistency, to this work.
I could give you countless examples of instances where Nick is ahead of the game in areas. His understanding of the body and specifically the nervous system, his balance of mental and physical training, and his insightful advice are all reasons he’s the best trainer I know. But what trumps all that is his ability to know what you need to hear and how to deliver that makes him one of the best coaches I know as well.
The work Nick and I have done together over the past two years have helped me improve not only physically but mentally as well. I wouldn’t be where I am today and I wouldn’t be as prepared for the future without the help of Nick Lynch.

Superb Health is simply the best! I have been training with Nick for just under 6 months and what he has helped me accomplish is hard to put into words. When I started coming to him I was very uncomfortable dealing with some lower back issues and overall weakness due to not working out in a few years and dealing with stress and autoimmune stuff. The way he has helped me rebuild my strength is incredible...but even better is how he has helped me with my mental strength as well. This is the full package as far as the mind body connection! About me… let’s just say I am way past 50 years old… and have been moderately exercising over the years. I came across Nick several months ago and have started his program. I have had a few personal trainers in my day but for me, Nick’s approach is unique and exceptional. My experience is that he is genuinely interested in me and my progress. He answers all of my question intelligently. His style is subtle – he doesn’t just exhort me to give him 10 more push-ups! He seems to have just the right exercise for what I need. He seems to personally enjoy strength training and teaching it - and really knows and understands his subject. I am gaining strength... and I have learned more about strength training that I have in years and plan to continue to use what he has shown me till I am way way way past 50! I would recommend giving him a try.

Path to Wellness
By Burt Robinson / Kenosha, United States
I've been seeing Nick for about 3 years on pretty much a bi-weekly basis. I'd love to be able to see him more than that but it's 90 miles round trip for me. Why would I travel so far to see Nick you might ask? Nick meets all of the qualities I was looking for in a trainer. After some weight I needed to get physically fit. After much research I was intent on learning how to use the kettlebell, it seemed like the perfect fit for me. After looking for trainers between Chicago(I work downtown) and Milwaukee, Nick's profile and bio seemed like a great fit. After our initial phone conversation(which he promptly responded to after an email), I had a good feeling going in to our first session. I was very happy after that session. I told Nick I was looking to get back into shape and find something I could do for a lifetime, enjoy my future grandkids, quality of life as I get older, etc. I had neglected my body for 30 years(I'm 55). Nick keenly screened my current abilities and limits and has me on the path to physical wellness. He has made me feel at ease since moment one(which I was a little worried about being out of a gym for 30 years or so) and has been patient, supportive, understanding and professional. His expertise and knowledge of kettlebells and other forms of fitness skills is "superb". Nick is sincere and passionate about his trade, which is refreshing. He's committed to teaching proper form which I appreciate because I can be a perfectionist sometimes. I also like the fact that he can simplify a movement for me to make it more understandable and easier to pick up. But ultimately it's about results, and I'm happy with them in the time I've been seeing Nick. I've lost 20 additional pounds, lost inches from my waist and have muscles in my core I never knew I had. Hopefully I've been a good student because Nick's been a great teacher and I know I have so much more to learn from him. I would encourage anyone looking to get healthier. stronger or just in better shape to give Nick a shot.

At the time of this review, I have been going to Superb Health for about a year. I began there taking the group classes but currently I am working with Nick Lynch as my personal trainer three times weekly. I am currently 63 years young.
Here's what I like about the place:
1) Safety - Nick and his instructor team are very concerned with doing the workouts with good form. I believe that anyone beginning to use kettlebells should get personal instruction from a properly credentialed instructor like the instructors at Superb Health. Nick tailors each session based on my current condition. One of the first questions Nick asks each session is, "How's the body feeling today?" He uses my answer to structure the movements performed and reps/weight for each movement.
2) Variety - No two sessions are the same. I have no idea of what I will be doing when I walk in the door, and I like it that way. Nick does a great job of mixing it up each time. New movements are added incrementally so it seems we are constantly adding items to our repertoire of possibilities.
3) Vibe - The place is very inviting. The folks are friendly and supportive. Nick organizes activities to further foster the sense of community including charity fundraisers, workouts in the community, and social events. Superb Health also sponsors workshops on topics such as nutrition and wellness.
In conclusion, I have found a place that I intend to use for a long time to help me maintain my fitness and my health. You have many choices of fitness professionals in the area to help you achieve your goals. If you are reading this, I invite you to consider Superb Health to see if it is a good fit. Make an appointment and check it out for yourself.
I wish you all the best in your fitness journey.

I think it fitting to give Nick a review that focuses on music since it is used frequently in his class and is his and my biggest common interest. I have been training with Nick for the past 8 or 9 months. I worked out with him on a Saturday morning, the night of which I saw Ministry. Myself being 40, probably the average age of people at the concert, there wasn’t a lot of dancing going on. However, when they started playing the classics, I couldn’t help myself and started head-banging as I never had before, at least not since high school. I noticed that my lower back felt so much stronger and I did not get fatigued in the slightest. I have been noticing this as an everyday occurrence as well but thought it most fitting that I really noticed it at this concert, where it seemed I was the only one dancing. Thanks, Nick, for allowing me to relive my high school years in body and spirit.

About two years ago, when I was looking to get back to weight lifting exercises, my wife did an Internet search and found some very inspiring info about Superb Health and Nick Lynch. We decided to try kettlebells together. I can tell today that it was a one of the best decisions we ever made. Classes are always fun, they have different and very challenging routine, people in our group are super enthusiastic and friendly. Nick has a bright and positive personality, endless knowledge about fitness and kettlebells and everything related to healthy lifestyle.
After first few months of taking classes I realized that I am getting stronger, I am moving better and easier, and my whole body has learned some better ways to perform everyday tasks.
I can tell you that, if you really want to be in the better shape, if you want to learn how to be strong and efficient, Superb Health just the right place for that. Once you try the power of kettlebells, it is yours forever.

My first session with Nick I couldn't stand up straight and was in pain simply walking. I had a lower back muscle spasm 4 times in the previous 12 months. After just a month of working with him I felt like I learned how to stand properly, breathe properly. I am 46 and thanks to Nick's knowledge, patience, compassion and strength I have learned for the first time how to be strong and prevent pain. I haven't had a back issue for a year!

"Are you feeling strong tonight?" This is a question that Nick (the owner and lead trainer) asks at the beginning of many of his classes. My honest answer (which I keep to myself) is usually "no." I am feeling tired after a long day at work, stiff after sitting at my desk and in my car, maybe stressed out, distracted, hungry, who knows. Rarely do I start class feeling strong. However, I also know that is about to change. I've been training at Superb Health for a year and a half. Prior to that, I had never been to a gym or worked out in any real way. I was nervous to start, but that was quickly dispelled. Nick walked my wife and me through the basic movements, fixing and adjusting our form, but never making me feel bad for not knowing what I was doing. In class, there is never a competition between people - it doesn't matter how much weight I can lift, all that matters is that I'm trying. Everyone is happy to help if asked, and to provide encouragement. No two classes at Superb Health are exactly alike, so I never get bored. We're always told to pick our own weights, so I never feel out of my element, or worse, at risk of hurting myself. Often, class seems to fly by. I’m usually tired and sweaty by the end, but I also feel great. In fact, I think Nick should start asking his question at the end of class, because almost without fail, I leave every class feeling better about myself, healthier, and, yes, strong.

Other modes of exercise that I've tried to make a habit of (running, yoga, etc.) never seemed to stick. Kettlebell training did! I have been training at Superb Health for over two years. The awesome trainers and fellow "superbaletes" help me stay strong every week in Functionally Fit classes! I highly recommend for anyone who wants to be more active or wants to combat tension, pain, and fatigue from their daily grind.
