We have been a part of this academy for years and would recommend them to everyone! Such a family feeling when joining this wonderful group of instructors. I wish there were 10 stars available to mark them at. Grand Master Yun runs an amazing program and keeps up with each students progress. Wonderful program!

My daughter has been attending WMAA since she was 3 years old — she’s now 11 and still absolutely loves it. Master Yun is exceptional with the kids and truly understands how to connect with them. He creates a welcoming and supportive environment.
Would highly recommend WMAA to any family.

My daughter and her cousin have been attending the World Martial Arts Academy for over 7 years, since they were 3 & 4 years old. They started as little tigers and they now have their deputy black belts. We love all of the instructors and the masters, they are so supportive, knowledgeable, caring, and patient. It has been such a wonderful and positive experience for our young daughters and we feel so lucky to be a part of the academy.

Our kids started here about 4 years ago when they were 3 & 4. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences for us as parents and for their personal development and achievement that I could have ever expected. Everyone that they have worked with from the student instructors to the incredible Grand Masted have treated our children and us with an incredible amount of professionalism and respect. They create a community around their students focused on respect and appreciation of family. We will continue here for as long as our kids will go! Thank you to all of the incredible staff who continue to make this place great!

Great for children and families.
My son, now 10, has been going since he was 7. While kids complain a lot, he still gets a lot out of classes and is learning a lot, with discipline and physical fitness.

My kids have been attending classes at WMAA for 2.5 yrs and it has been an amazing experience! The instructors and Grandmaster are patient and knowledgeable. They are GREAT with kids of all ages! My kids have started taking on more chores around the house for their weekly attitude stripe and they’ve grown in their confidence enough to even participate in the annual tournament. We love WMAA and the families we’ve met. I cannot recommend WMAA enough!

My daughter and I have been training at World Martial Arts Academy for over a year and a half, and the experience has been nothing short of incredible. From day one, we felt welcomed into a supportive and motivating environment that has helped us grow both physically and mentally.
The instructors here are truly outstanding. They are not only highly skilled but also patient and encouraging, especially with the kids. They know how to balance discipline with fun, which keeps the younger students engaged and excited to learn. My daughter always looks forward to class, and it’s amazing to see how much confidence and focus she has developed.
We’ve also had the opportunity to participate in tournaments, which have been a fantastic way to challenge ourselves and celebrate the progress we’ve made. The instructors prepare students so well, giving them the tools and mindset to succeed.
I can’t say enough about the Grand Master. His leadership, passion, and dedication to his students shine through in every class. He sets the tone for the academy, creating a positive atmosphere where everyone feels motivated to push their limits and strive for excellence.

I cannot recommend this place enough. The Grandmaster and other instructors are patient, safe, knowledgeable, and listen well. They bring the kids along at a good, safe speed. No instant black belts, no screaming at the kids. They have a list for home that also is part of the belt leveling process. Thank you

I went here when i was younger, and i had a blast. Although the fact that its somewhat caused. My younger brother took the self defense into a new way of attacking family and friends. Now a days im a lightsaber dullest instructor, teaching the ways of the force through a lightsaber. In other words this place is great for teens and young adults who get bullied alot but not for young kids. May the force be with you.

My two sons have been training at World Martial Arts Academy for nearly two years. I chose this academy because it is headed by a grandmaster (sixth level black belt), while most schools have less experienced and less qualified instructors. The grandmaster personally oversees the instructors as they teach, and students usually are in groups of two to four per instructor. This assures close attention to every aspect of the training, and because instructors are observed by both the grandmaster and the head instructor, and because instructors are trained each day, the quality of the teaching is high.
We left a previous larger taekwondo center because a teacher often had 15-20 students, and I found my sons were being offered a chance to test for higher belts when they were clearly not doing well. This, in my view, was to assure that they completed the training contract as quickly as possible. If they did not complete, the training was to continue for free after the contract ended. I noticed that some of the students with black belts were barely able to complete simply actions. That. to me, was unacceptable.
The Grandmaster has been teaching for more than 25 years and began his training in South Korea. He is really outstanding and I feel fortunate to have found an academy that offers high quality training.

Our family has been a part of the WMAA community for the last 4 years. What started out as a one day a week after school activity for my children has turned into lifelong goals for our family. The staff is welcoming, patient and are great role models for my children. Absolutely recommend WMAA to anyone interested in martial arts.

After investigating several other Taekwondo schools, we decided that WMAA was the best fit for my 3 boys. They have the best instructors, a great instructor to student ratio, comparable rates & staff that truly cares about my family!

I have been involved with a few martial arts schools over the years but now that I am working out at WMAA I feel like I have found a home. The instructors are incredibly skilled and very good at teaching TKD. Grandmaster Yun's knowledge of tae kwon do is second to none. He makes everyone of every ability better and truly cares about his students. If you are looking for a martial arts school this is the one.

WMAA is an excellent place to learn and develop both martial art skills as well as physical fitness. I have been learning from Grand Master Yun for over 20 years at this point and hope to continue to do so for many more. His methods of instruction as well as those of the instructors that he trains are outstanding. If you're looking to learn and grow as a martial artist WMAA is an excellent place to be.
