I just joined today 11/07/2025. Moved into area just a week ago. Called this health club to ask if they accept silver sneakers. The lady on phone was very pleasant and answered all my questions. When I arrived at Club was greeted by P/T Erika. She was very helpful and patient while I filled out forms on iPad. Recommend this club to anyone who wants to get fit. Thank you Staff!!!!

I have been trying to cancel my membership for a month now due to going through financial hardship and me and my partner are no longer together. I can no longer afford $50 a month. I could potentially afford the single plan of $30 a month. However, when I asked about it I was told that I needed proof my ex partner was moving back to Birmingham AL such as a bill. I understand that, but they have moved back with their mother and nothing will be in their name. When I exiled this to the customer representative, I was told that told contact their manager. Two weeks later, my ex partner talked to another customer representative and was told that due to us just signing up and making our account that we could not cancel until 2027 or if there was proof that he is moving 15 miles outside of Madison County. I have called the ABCfitness line and I have been told I need to talk to the home office directly. Well no one answers the phone. This is very upsetting, that I am telling all who I encounter that I can no longe afford this membership and need to cancel but it’s such a hassle. I will now, no longer consider a single membership plan. I would just like plan cancelled and payments stopped immediately !

Please clean the sauna occasionally. There’s an inch thick layer of gunk between the wood planks in places and it doesn’t appear to ever be vacuumed or swept. The head-height line of sweat stains along the back wall looks pretty rough too.

I deleted my other review so I can leave this new one since it seems some time ago ownership changed. Ever since then there have been many changes. A lot of good changes & a lot of annoying ones. I've been a member over 2 yrs. I love the new colors painted within the gym. Great choice though as an OCD person I see so many flaws. There is more cleaning being done that before but there are so many places it looks like they have NEVER cleaned. For example the faucets in bathroom, they are disgusting. So nasty I gag each time I have to wash my hands. They started sharing our parking lot with the new grocery store next door. So now all employees can park here taking spaces from its members. Today they implemented the 3rd check in system. First it was thumb print, then eye scan, now a bar code. Each time a new check in is implemented, all morning people are the ones inconvenienced. Like today. How do you implement a new check in system & then don't show up even 10 minutes early to assist your faithful morning members in making sure the FIRST day runs smoothly? As I left there was a prop to hold open main door which shows it is wasn't running smoothly. I believe 24/7 is trying to cut out older folks from coming in. There are many older members there that don't have smart phones & today I seen how they are being abolished from having access to the gym. As if they only want younger people to come. They created a new ab room, with no air, heating lights, & a narrow space to try to work out, it's barley wide enough to miss people who are kicking legs up for abs, or trying to do sit ups in a machine. If you want to do standing exercises go back down stairs cause you have to practically kiss the mirror so the people on ab machines can move freely. Seems a lot of changes don't improve they annoy. Moving the stretching machine upstairs when it's the first thing we would all do, stretch, makes a big difference if you have to run upstairs JUST to do that. The gym is NOT short people friendly. There are so many machines I can't use cause I'm too short. They use to have a brown pull up station, I used that but now it's gone & I can't even do that. Not unless I want to stand on a box and risk falling. Also it's hard for me to reach certain hooks to change the attachments I want to use cause the hooks are too thick & unyielding so I'm unable to use the whole new cable machine they just put in. The women's room is the worst. Smells so bad, air barley circulating, & they don't have a good selection of dumb bells. One 20 pound set, a single 35, and small ones. Nothing like the new room. It's also hard to maneuver cause it's lined with machines if you want to do standing exercises you have a tiny wall section or you're in the way in the middle. Good things tho, they don't let men in our bathrooms, staff is friendly, & hours are the best since I arrive at 530 am. Being shorter I've managed to get good work outs but it's annoying you have to calculate or debate if I can maybe use certain machines to expand my exercises. One thing I do agree with is the sign in the new room. I will never break up with my gym, we just seem to work out

They said their office hours were until 8 on their website and in an email to me. I showed up at 6:45 on Monday and they were already gone. I emailed them about it after and they said it was actually 7. I was there before 7 and they were gone, lights out, and a closed sign on the counter. Remember, I got there before 7.

Wasted 30 minutes of my time driving over this place’s dishonesty or disorganization.

Edit: same canned response I got in the email. Their hours are not correct or they aren’t honoring them. Their customer service is abysmal.

One of the worst gyms I’ve ever been to. Dirty, antique equipment, nothing was labeled or in order. Free weights all mixed together, all different brands of equipment just packed in together, no lockers available, no cold drinking water, no hot water in the showers, overall I’d stay away from this place.

I would give zero stars if it were possible, I’m only giving one star because of how kind the younger girl was. Went in today hoping to get a membership, spoke with two ladies a younger brunette who was very nice and then an older red headed woman who was nothing short of snide and extremely rude. I asked her about packages and she gave me the form to look over, told her I was deciding between phaze 3 and 24/7 after deciding I wanted to go with the 2 year agreement I asked her to look over the agreement to which she replied “well I can tell you what it says” RED FLAG! I’m not signing a 2 year contract without looking over it like come on, she then tells me if I were to move 15 miles outside of Madison county I could cancel my membership but I would have to have a lease agreement, water bill etc. as I’m reading over the contract I see where it talks about moving and the ability to cancel your membership, no where in that agreement does it say anything about having to provide proof of new residence, I point this out to her, to which she replies, again snidely “it’s in our rules and regulations and you get that after you sign the contract. Like WHAT! Why would I sign a contract and then have “rules and regulations” added to it after the fact, no one does that, it’s a absolutely not for me. I ask her to give me something to look over rules and regulations and she says “I don’t have anything printed out”. Again, extremely unprofessional. I really don’t know how this place gets any business with her attitude and demeanor, as a business owner I wouldn’t want any one like that working for me, it really makes the whole facility look terrible. I’d bet money people have issues out of her all the time. I was very excited to start my membership here but I will definitely be going with phaze 3 and I recommend anyone else do the same, or even planet fitness.

9/23 - I've been a member of 24/7 Health Club for over a year now, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The gym community here is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I've always felt safe and have never encountered any issues with anyone. The staff goes above and beyond - they're not only generous but also take the time to get to know you personally.

Compared to other gyms I've tried, the convenience of 24/7 access sets this place apart. It's truly the best gym on the right side of Huntsville. The only minor concern I have is the organization of weights. However, if they were numbered on racks, I believe this could be easily resolved. Despite that, everything else about this gym is top-notch. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to embark on their fitness journey.

4/24 Edit - I believe there was a switch in ownership but it appears that there is a lot more invested into the gym with new machines, drinking fountains, and the weights have been organized more frequently. I added the last star to my review just because I appreciate what they have been doing and it has been paying off. Thanks 24/7!

I absolutely love this gym! Because we enjoy it so much, we are willing to do a longer commute just to go. For the most part, it is well maintained besides the equipment that has been down for months and the facial recognition on the side door not working. I do have a few complaints however.

I received a violation for allowing someone else in. That person was my husband who pays for the account.. we go to the gym together. Since there is footage of me doing so, they could see the person is my husband who they have a picture of. I just felt giving a violation was petty. I would have been much more receptive had they called or emailed me. To close the door, and have my husband do his facial recognition is redundant to me when we both have memberships and go together. I understand the concerns, but if there is footage of who it is and it is the person they have on file in the system, there should be some leniency in my opinion. I appreciate the efforts of going the extra mile to ensure members are not bringing in an over abundance of people and the security measures, but I just think there should be some sort of exception. When my husband and I go to the gym, it’s at night and we are trying to get in and out because we work.

Additionally, the lack of communication is also a concern. My husband found another member’s wallet, he emailed the gym, and never received a response. Luckily, the guy came by looking for it when we were still there and we were able to give it to him, but to send a response acknowledging the email would’ve been nice.

Finally, I wish more night classes were offered. A lot of people such as myself and my husband, work from 9 to 6pm. It would be great if more classes were offered between 8 and 9pm.

This gym is nice but they will charge you money you dont owe. I signed up for a student membership. It covered three months at a time and I was made to pay for all of it upfront. Shortly the membership ended collection agencies began hounding me over 25 dollars that I dont owe. If they had my card on file they would have just charged me without notification. Keep a close eye on what they charge you.

Nobody could tell me what will be done with my data and what privacy responsibility you have as the company implementing facial recognition. The contract changed from me providing fingerprint data (which is absurd to begin with) to facial recognition data just to enter the facilities. You stated I will not be able to access the facilities unless staff was there which completely violated the 24/7 accessibility I was interested in. And since I was in a long term contract, I could not get out of the contract even though the premise of access to the facility changed. I had to buy it out. So I'm warning other users to not sign up for a long term contract for those reasons.

LOVE this gym !! They offer free fitness classes, plenty of equipment for cardio and strength training, and have a family like atmosphere here. I love this place because of its proximity to my house and the greenway that runs behind it. There’s a ton of equipment, the staff members are all super nice, everyone I’ve encountered while working out has been kind and respectful, it’s open 24 hours a day seven days a week, the security system feels pretty safe, and they have a smoothie bar and sell supplements and workout enhancement stuff. I only gave it four stars, though, because a lot of the machines are broken, the women’s room upstairs never gets cleaned, they charge extra for their hot yoga and bungee fitness classes, there’s only one sauna and it’s coed and in the main area where all of the machines are, and they require a two year contract for their lowest monthly fee. I’d been with them for over two years and had asked to remove my daughter’s membership and was told that I’d have to sign up for another two year membership in order to do so. I hadn’t been contacted about renewing and I was several months past my previous contract’s expiration. I mean, I had planned to keep my membership anyway but it really rubbed me the wrong way.
Even with my several complaints, overall, it’s a great gym in a great location.

This gym has so much potential but the free weights are always an absolute mess and they just don't keep up with their equipment. There are multiple pieces of equipment that have been out of order for over a year. Little things like having enough pins for weight stacks or ensuring cables on the machines are tensioned appropriately are not done. They used to have a cool cardio movie theater that is no longer operational. If they don't square themselves away by the time the new phase 3 opens, they are going to lose A LOT of members.

I bought a spa package for 199 which included 10 visits which include 6 different things I believe. Assuming I can use all of them after second visit realize I was to tall for 2 of machines. I asked if I can't get a refund of what I didn't use because I couldn't fit. I left 4 messages for manager and she refused to return my call. She always had someone else call. 24/7 is a 2-star gym. That comes with the good and the bad. I’ll start off with the good. It has a good variety of workout equipment, and the fact that you can exercise at any time of day is huge.
As for the bad, it has become very apparent over the past few years that they care more about the dollar than they do about their customers. To start, during COVID, they shut the gym down and continued charging full membership, even while other gyms froze membership payments or extended a couple of months for free onto the end of a contract. To “remedy” the problem, 24/7 offered a “free t-shirt” when you came back on the condition that you left them a review on Google and showed them your review.
To make matters worse, they took what was a spacious gym and started cramming machines together so they could put in a spa that advertises pseudo-science and quick weight-loss schemes. Now, you almost feel like you’re working out on top of somebody else when you’re there because it’s so crammed.
On top of that, two to four machines are always broken, and it often takes months to fix them. Instead of investing in new equipment or adequately fixing the old, the gym, despite protests from many regulars, installed an iris scan to gain entry to the gym. If you ask the front desk people, they’ll give you a million different reasons for the iris scan, some of which make sense and some don’t. Some of the information passed along even contradicted other information I was given. All in all, this gym cares more about the dollar than it does about its customers, and it’s the main reason I ended up leaving that gym.

We joined this gym years ago for the 24/7 access. We have used our fingerprints to confirm identity for access the gym since then. Now, we are being told that we forfeit our access if we don’t comply to a new forced retina scan. Currently we maintain 7 accounts for ourselves and our friends at this gym. This is a data grab, likely for profit to some third party. Completely unnecessary and uncalled for and frankly enough to lose all of our business. They are giving no alternative option to remain with the current biometric data.

Love this gym. It has most all of what I need and a lot of what I don't it is a joy everytime I go. It is a 24 hr gym, it has many old school hardcore weights that I love, the freeweights and machine weights are separated. And I think they have a machine for every body part, for those not into free weights. Cardio and track are all separated from the weights and I love that. I could stay here all night going through all the things I love about this gym so I will just say come check it out and see what you think. The only drawback is it is a little drive from where stay but I think it is worth it. The monthly price is great. Come and see.

On our quest to try new gyms we stopped by 24 7 health club. Greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff, they showed us the club before setting us loose. Plenty of free weights from dumbells to bars. Kettlebells and plate loaded machines give you the ability to hit every muscle group. On the second level you have the cardio equipment and perimeter walking track. Definitely check them out if you're in the area.

I've taken multiple group fitness classes at this gym and I think it's extremely friendly to new gym members and it's welcoming of all body types. I've taken classes like Hard Bodies and Fierce, and both of those classes have very kind instructors who make sure to help anyone who needs it, along with allowing members to modify any moves to best fit their needs and capabilities. When I took a demo for this gyms Bungee program, I needed to modify some moves, and my instructor promptly helped me modify them by showing me what I can do instead that would better suit my needs!

I have been going to 24/7 Health Club for the past 5 years and i love how friendly and helpful all the staff are. There is plenty of equipment to go around. I take full advantage of the sauna as well.....its my favorite thing in whole gym. I now live closer to the Harvest location, and I enjoy it as well. Never crowded there.

I love this place. I am new to Huntsville and while I’m not a “gym rat” I enjoy going to a gym that fuels me to push myself out of my comfort zone.

I toured all the gyms in Huntsville and this place stood out because of its large space, all the equipment is clean and working properly, and it’s open 24 hours which matters to me a ton because I work from home so I keep non-traditional working hours.

The walking loop on the second floor is awesome when the weather isn’t cooperating with my 12k step a day habit.

The staff is super friendly and welcoming too.

PS - this place feels and is super safe, especially after midnight! (For those of you thinking a gym sesh at 2 am is a good idea ;)

I've been a member at this gym for 13 years and never have I been talked down to like that. If I'm doing something wrong you ask me to do differently not be rude to your loyal customers. To correct the owners response I was not asked twice I was in the sauna for 30 seconds. The other patrons in the sauna also agreed that he was extremely rude.

Amazing facility with people that are equally amazing. The gym is very open and welcoming, and the equipment is kept neat and clean. Seriously love the friendly staff there. :)
They've also got a really great program that has really fast weight loss and even helps with things like night sweats, migraines, and blood pressure. You won't regret visiting their club. Definitely my favorite gym anywhere in the Huntsville area!

Only reason I joined 24/7 for two years was because of the discount they offered to their other business Rocket city CrossFit in which I signed a 2 yr contract, owner of 24/7 closes down the CrossFit with no warning but will not allow the CrossFit members to cancel the gym membership. Would never recommend somebody to join this gym

Management is terrible. Gave me a refund and then two days later took out the same amount. Then charged me again in less than a month. The management blocked me on their Facebook pages after removing my comments asking a question. They then responded rudely on Facebook messenger and blocked me before I could respond again.
