I’ve been a member of this gym since 2017. I often fall off the wagon, but I surely return, because it is surely the best gym in this city! Mr. Ray, Mrs. Gail and all the staff are kind and helpful. The atmosphere isn’t where you feel uncomfortable in your workout gear, and other members are also kind and respectful. Join, you won’t be disappointed.

This is a well rounded fitness center with a wide variety of equipment that affects all parts of the body. The owner gladly provides assistance in the use of the equipment as well as trainer assistance is available. In addition, classes are available in aerobics, Yoga, line dancing, zumba and weight training. Silver sneaker training is available for free for retired teachers.

Best gym in Montgomery, period. When I moved here, I tried 3 other gyms on week-trials. They just can't compete with 2A. From the awesome, FRIENDLY atmosphere, the amazing people that both work here and work out here, to the excellent selection of tried-and-true equipment, 2A cannot be beaten. There's also a shake bar, and great selection of pre-workout and protein shakes to choose from. Do NOT hesitate to try this amazing gym.

This is where I work out at I didn't know my insurance covers the cost .I viewed several gyms that was under the policy I decided to visit 2A Fitness the first day I walk through the doors it was clean,in place,not crowded, everyone mines their business, alot of workout spaces,activities, full basketball court ,suna, upstairs, restrooms stay clean and fresh with cleaning products, staff helpful, don't mine answering questions and ect. My son is of age to workout with me long as he with me in same area. Oh! Have childcare and a bar to sit and enjoy different smoothies made to order. I enjoy and happy to be part of the family. I love this gym!!! My husband and I joined about a month ago and we are so happy we did. It is run by an older couple and they know their stuff. This gym has just about everything you need. I notice they have a large older, population that comes to work out and that is beautiful in itself. We've been members of LA fitness, Gold's gym, and planet fitness. I hands down will choose this gym everytime. People come and work out. There isn't screaming and ridiculous grunting. I don't get harrassed. People respect the space, get their workout in, and go. If you are in Montgomery and looking for a gym where you can work out and be comfortable, this is the place. ❤️

Was hoping to become a new member with this gym, but the guy at the front desk (Anguez I believe his name is) refused to honor my Active Fit & Direct enrollment. He told me that he could not do it without a hard copy of my health insurance card. This sounded very strange since I have 6+ memberships w/ Active Fit & Direct and have never been asked for that. I asked him why he needed my health insurance card, and he stated that it’s to verify my name, which can be found on my drivers license that I gave to him. After some back and forth I called Active Fit & Direct, who sent me a member card by email confirming my membership with all of my information. This guy STILL would not let me register after I presented the letter to him. Taking my business elsewhere, but still a frustrating experience.

I was assaulted by an employee at this Gym named Jerrell. When I ask the owner what he was going to do about it he threatened to call the police on me.

Then he revoked my membership after I called the Police and filed an assault charge on his employee.

Then he LIED to the police and said his employee did not assault me.

I have already started a legal case against them.

I've been a member of this gym for about 7 months and I would highly recommend this gym. I initially wanted a group plan with a colleague, but she 'bailed' on me last minute. However, the owner was flexible with me and kept the group plan open pending when I got another person to join me. Luckily I got someone else within my first month so the billing wasn't too complicated.
Apart from the friendly staff, there are enough machines with little to no wait time. The members of the gym are also an interesting group with a wide range of age groups and fitness levels that I don't feel superior or intimidated as there's always someone more or less fit than I am...
The only draw back so far is that there are no early morning fitness classes that start at 5 am. The gym is open at that time but if you're an early morning gym class person you may have to re-work your schedule like I've done

I've been a satisfied member of this fitness center for about 2 years. The center is clean, welcoming, has a wide variety of equipment, offers personal training, offers breakfast for a fee, clean accomadating restrooms, and trained members that have been awarded for competing in various bodybuilding competitions.

The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The classes are fun and energetic. The equipment are easy to use and are well maintained. The locker rooms and saunas are clean and comfortable. They have professional trainers and they even have kids fitness, child care and martial arts for kids. It's a great place to work out and bring your kids. Every first Monday is Membership Appreciation Day and family and friends are welcome for free. Refreshments are served and vendors are there to advertise their products or services. They also have a smoothie bar that have a variety of flavors and proteins. For those who live to work out in the mornings they open early and even sell oatmeal at the smoothie bar.
