Absolute Fitness is largest fitness facility in the area and the first and only fitness center in this area open 24 hours a day 7 days a week with staff members always on site.

I recently joined because their setup is well planned and placed, they have a lot of extra space in the adjoining area/room where the rowing machines, heavy weights, and other exercise equipment is located. They have classrooms set up for the different aerobics, cycling, and other physical training sessions. Plenty of drinks and snacks are available, you can carry a balance on your membership which, for me, makes it easy to grab a drink and snack when I need one. The staff is manned 24/7/365 and they are well versed in the training experience. I highly recommend Absolute Fitness Gym for all ages!

My experience after just joining this gym has been terrible. The lady up front seem friendly at first but after having a tanning issue, she made me feel humiliated after finding out the guy at the front desk didn’t add on tanning to our account that is just days old. She made me feel like I was stealing or something. I understand doing your job but it’s the way you do it.

I enjoy the Silver sneakers fitness class very much! My favorite instructor is Stacey! Good for all fitness level in a senior setting. I also do weight training and they have really good equipment and a good variety. Very nice showers and sauna area also.

Really great gym and i enjoy working out and the gym is very clean and the equipment is very nice, however i do have some suggestions. First of all the gym should replace the current “hack squat” with an actual one because that is a must have for any gym, and a standing calf raise machine because its arguably the best calf machine, another one which is pretty rare, but would be much better than the v-squat would be the pendulum squat. These machines would really improve the gym so hopefully I’ll get to use one of these in there some day. If they can add these they’ll get 5 stars ;)

We moved to Gadsden area a couple years ago and joined Absolute Fitness. This is a great gym! I enjoyed it every time I went. I got to be good friends with Sharon and she is great, very pleasant and extremely helpful. Very nice gym and great staff.

My 14 year old tried this gym out for a few days with his fiends who are members and liked it. I didn’t get around to getting him a membership so when he and his 18 year old cousin visited the gym on Labor Day to see if they could get a day pass. The woman at the front desk was aggressive, unprofessional and rude in her response to them.
She could have and should have been polite when stating the gym rules but she chose the opposite. This behavior towards young adults and teens about a simple request regarding a day pass is unacceptable and questionable. I do not want my son to be around adults who think they can be aggressive to teens who ask a simple question.

Cleanliness and organization doesn’t seem to factor in at this gym. Weights and dumbbells out of place everywhere and I’ve never once seen a staff member go around cleaning. People don’t rack weights properly and staff does nothing about it even when something is said. Floors are nasty, locker rooms are disgusting. Worst gym experience I’ve ever had and unfortunately I’m locked into a contract. Only good thing is their price of drinks and protein snacks.

Even though I'm not a member here I'm giving it 4 stars because of the monthly fee. If they could charge it to $15 are less a month for membership. I would love to be a member here because it’s more convenient . I am a member at planet fitness but I would like to move my membership to absolute fitness if they could just be cheaper.

This is a really nice gym that is typically kept very clean. The staff is very helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. There is a large selection of machines as well as free weights. The sauna in the locker room is an awesome addition. They also offer tanning and hydro massage. The gym houses a large crosstraining area in the back with astroturf and multiple squat racks, rowing machines, ski ergs, assault bikes and anything else you'd need in a "box".

I've just been once,but l was given a very good tour of the facilities.There are plenty of upper body machines and lower body machines,treadmills,elipse machines etc.There are several sanitation stations to wipe down machines.lockers to rent.A great gym.

I was in town for work when I went to their gym. They have $10 "drop in" fee which I felt was very reasonable considering the amount of equipment in the gym and services offered. Not to mention it's 24 hour. The gym it's self is very clean and the organization of the equipment is well thought out. If I lived in Gadsden I would definitely have a membership here.

Love this place! Tiffany, the fitness Director is scary (not really), but very encouraging and kind. In less than a month she has helped me make changes to my body for the better, and for good! I've been going to Absolute Fitness for years I was one of the first clients when they opened up and even after joining the military I've stayed faithful on my returns home! The prices are more than reasonable -- even if you don't want to do a year contract they have month to month contracts that still allow you full access to the facility and it's programs, which is awesome ! The facility is top notch, the programs are vast and the trainer's along with the staff are super friendly and always make all the patrons feel like family!!! It's an awesome gym and just an all around great place to work out!!!

Absolute fitness is the go to gym. Its like a private studio and you can gym alone during working day hours or come at night everyone is there. You need that kindo gym. Alot has changed.. Its new owners and managers so burry the hatchet for formerly bruised members..i also was at one time and left..im happy to gym there

Large space with a great variety of equipment for your preference (machines, free weights, body weight, etc.). 24/7 with child care. Staff are super friendly and make you feel important when they recognize your name. Little shop area with apparel, quest bars and sports drinks. Group activities both at the gym and in the community. Overall, best gym I've ever been signed up with and a very reasonable price.
