I have a suggestion. I would love to see the old saunas replaced with far infrared saunas. They are not expensive and have many health benefits.

You will never come to this gym and not have to wait on equipment. It’s by far the worst I’ve ever been to. They have virtually no equipment and will have to wait for something every time. Patrons have no gym manners. If you’re 70 and want to stand around and talk all day this is the gym for you. If you want to workout and go along with your day this is not the gym for you.

I've never been drawn to big gyms with the newest and best equipment. The wellness center in Athens is quaint. The parking lot is kind of small, but I've never seen it full. Staff are friendly. Equipment is more than sufficient. There are services that I don't use, which shows how well rounded the gym is. Occasionally you have to wait for equipment, but a little patience never hurt.

Started my membership for the lap pool access but it is now permanently closed so haven't gotten too use it and most of the treadmills have out of order signs on them so the price is a little high considering that. Hopefully they will be getting the equipment upgraded or fixed considering I'm stuck with them for at least the rest of this month.

I've been using this gym for over a year now. I love it. The staff is always very nice and courteous. Plenty of machines and weights to go around for everyone. Some of the equipment is a little on the older side but overall they still get the job done. If you like to swim they have an indoor pool. Plus they even have a sauna in the locker rooms.

It will definitely get the job done! Has pool, huge workout area and was a little outdated and rusty around the pool. Needs a makeover especially for disabled people to be safe but its better than nothing!

This is a great place to exercise. There is no judgemental attitude or animosity like you might see at other gyms and everything looks and feels safe and clean. Totally recommend.

Third time in several months you can't get in on a Sunday morning. Card access not working. Myself and another guy both unable to get in. No one to call and report. Being a Sunday it will probably be unaccessible all day and tomorrow as well since it's a holiday. I will start looking for another center to work out. Last time this happened and I called they basically said just deal with it. If you advertise 24 hour access you should provide that.

25 meter swimming pool in JANUARY.
NICE. Also excellent weight and aerobic apparatus for the landlubbers. Coaching and assistance available and a snack bar. What's not to like?

Pools closing at the end of the year. Take your money elsewhere. There's no need to pay $45/month for gym equipment you can use for $10/month with another company.

I just learned that the therapy pool is permanently closed after being led to believe that it just needed repairs. This has been going on over a month. I only use the pools so they have been fraudulent in taking my dues! No announcement of the closing was ever made. And the director intends to close the lap pool. Taking my money and going out of town.
