I have been working with Jessica doing 1:1 Yoga Therapy for a little over a month now. She is caring and knowledgable. This practice has taught me how to calm down my nervous system and truly relax which I'm not sure I've ever known how to do before. My chiropractor is amazed at how much less tension is in my body. Tension I didn't know I had.
As a mental health professional, Back in Balance Yoga Therapy has helped me learn to "practice what I preach" and I will be recommending Jessica to many of my clients.

I began working with Jessica in a yoga therapy group class after losing a cherished family member. At the same time, I came to her with an injured knee. She was just starting her yoga group classes at the time. So, I was a complete beginner. She was so kind and gentle in teaching me how to participate in class. She has been key in healing my knee and beginning to heal my heart. If you are struggling and stressed out, I highly recommend giving yoga therapy a try.

I have been working with Jessica for several months in 1 on 1 yoga therapy sessions. I cannot recommend these sessions enough, especially for anyone with a high level of responbility. As a CEO of a fast growing company and mother, these sessions help me to live the balance needed between all my responbilities.
I also highly recommend this for anyone feeling stuck. I have spent years working on my emotional and analytical self and found these sessions (and Jessica's practical but suoer educated approach) have helped me get past some major blockages.
This type of investment into yourself will pay dividends in ways hard to imagine.

I have been going to Jessica since Aug 2023. I was starting to have anxiety and problems with high blood pressure due to stress. I found her when I searched for natural ways to lower anxiety and blood pressure. I reached out for more info thinking that the studio was closed so probably wouldn’t hear anything until the next day but I was surprised she text me back within 30 mins. She didn’t have any 1:1’s available at the time so offered to let me join the weekly group class. I was so nervous at first because I had never tried yoga but she was very patient with me. She explains each movement so easily. I caught on really quick and I am enjoying it so much. Now I couldn’t imagine my life without yoga.

Jessica is amazing! She has a wealth of knowledge and is able to integrate the body, breath, and mind into a place of healing. It's a different take on traditional yoga and focuses on more subtle practices, but they make the biggest difference.
I wasn't sure what to expect at first since I had never done yoga therapy before. However, it's been a fantastic experience so far! Highly recommend for anyone in need of a little or a lot of healing!

I got 8, 1:1 sessions (2x/week, 4 weeks) gifted to me for Christmas and WOW! This is exactly what I was looking for!! Jessica has such a tranquil energy to her that also radiates in her studio. Finding so much emotional healing after a long life of trauma. Working to release physically, emotionally and increase energy levels. If you have any hesitance about starting yoga she’s great to start with in a private session. She walks you through each movement and brings peace to the session. I love the 1:1 Yoga program. I have chronic pain issues and the weekly classes are extremely helpful. I’ve done some in person and many via Zoom. Jessica makes sure you have the basics and then builds on that. The plan was developed for my specific needs. It’s also great to message her about any problems I’m having and getting a speedy, helpful reply.

I have learned so much working with Jessica. The zoom classes are great live but can be accessed later on which is really nice. The yoga therapy has helped so much. I have learned specific poses to relax and strengthen problem areas, like neck and low back. She is very observant and insightful. And even though I've practiced yoga for several years, I learn something new every time and feel I have a deeper understanding of yoga. I am always calmer, focused and energized after a session. Whether group class or 1:1 these sessions are a worthy investment.
