I can’t say good enough things about Barre3! I’ve been going here for almost 2 years and have been with them through the transition from Barre Code to Barre3. I do miss the Barre Code workout, but have stayed at Barre3 because the atmosphere and staff are so amazing. The owner, Jaci, and the studio manager, Grace, are both wonderful. All the instructors and girls working the front desk are so friendly. It’s a really good workout combining cardio, strength, and mindfulness. I came here as someone who hadn’t worked out and have come to absolutely love it. If you’re looking for a good workout with a supportive and fun environment, I can’t recommend it enough!

Barre3 has changed my life! Not only am I stronger physically, my mental health is so much better! The community of coaches who take the time to learn your name makes it feel much more like a tight knit group rather than just a work out studio. I can’t say enough good things about barre3. If you’re on the fence about signing up, definitely take the leap! It’s SO worth it!

I’m a conventional gym goer so I was branching out by trying this format. But it was a great idea! Don’t be fooled by the nice atmosphere, they can still give you a tough workout. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a way to keep fit during our stay in Tuscaloosa. I tried 3 classes for free and decided to join. It is great having different types of classes and the owner and staff obviously put a lot into the design of the workouts to get maximum results. I love the fitness equipment that they provide in the club and the music. As someone who has participated (and sometimes worked) in fitness for 40 years, I knew immediately that it was a welcoming, supportive place. Yes, I’m an older gal but this place is not intimidating at all. The class booking system is excellent and easy to use. I walk there but it looks like a great location with easy parking if you have to drive.

I started out at Barre Code looking to switch up my workout routine and I haven’t looked back. The community is amazing! The instructors are not only there to teach you but they are there to motivate and support you as a friend and instructor. It’s awesome to go to a class with women of all backgrounds in a healthy environment. I have recommended Barre Code to friends and they have joined after doing 1 class. I cannot recommend this studio enough! Y’all MUST check it out!

I cannot begin to describe how much I love The Barre Code - Capitol Park! The studio is so clean and welcoming and the staff is truly next level! I was so nervous to go for my first time but they walked me through the equipment and what to expect throughout the class and even helped me modify some moves when it just wasn’t working for meand the instructors have kept that same care and attention in all my classes. The energy here is so positive that I look forward to each class more and more every time! I’m so grateful to have found a place that focuses on movement for joy and and I feel like I walk out of every class with a renewed focus!

Barre Code Tuscaloosa is a beautiful, welcoming, clean studio, with ample natural light and quality sound system. The instructors are professional, competent, encouraging, and engaged. The workout is well choreographed, complete in under an hour, and produces dramatic changes in body strength and weight loss. One of the best barre studios in Alabama!

The Barre Code is truly my happy place! Everyone is so welcoming and inclusive. I'm grateful to have found a workout that I actually enjoy and want to do. The classes are challenging, but can also be modified for anyBODY. Your first class is free, so I highly recommend giving it a try.

The quickest results I have ever seen! All the classes are hard in their own way but easily modifiable depending on your level of fitness. I was a level 0 when I came in lol. The instructors are very helpful and sweet and not intimidating at all. I don’t like trying new things and I LOVE this. Young or Old. There are all ages in class!

I never thought of myself as a group fitness person but I gave it a try and fell in love. The Barre Code is an inclusive fitness studio that is full of women supporting other women. There are a variety of class formats that cover everything from high intensity cardio to strength to restorative stretching and mobility work. Each and every class can be modified or intensified based on your needs. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and go above and beyond to make sure you are working toward your goals. I am currently 32w pregnant and they have taken the time and effort to support my fitness goals and ensure that I’m safe throughout my journey. Bottom line, highly recommend if you are looking for a welcoming, inclusive space to get in a really great workout.

I cannot say enough about barre code!! I started going to support my dear friend, jaci, and fell in love!! It has completely changed my mental and physical health and has become a daily routine for me. It is always clean. I love the smiles of the staff, the encouragment of the entire environment, and the way everyone supports one another. There is never any pressure and as little or as much extra help as you ask for with moves. You will never feel out of place here!!!

The Barre Code is great! I am a fitness person, always looking for a good workout and prefer group exercise settings. I am fortunate to have been involved in a very supportive/warm/welcoming gym family before ... but things change and people move on. I looked and tried new things and found numerous good workouts but never a place like this. The workout is challenging, yes and that's extremely important when giving somewhere an hour of your day, but the absolute best thing about this place is the people and the environment. The owner, the instructors and the clients all care about you as a person. How are you doing in your personal life, your professional life and also in your fitness life. If you get to class early, they are always willing to chat and give encouraging words in all areas ... and then they start the music to give you a great workout that hits all the rights areas of your body that need to be worked (you know those places!). Throughout the class they give you great encouragement and tell you when you have your form right which makes you want to work to maintain the form even while you're burning and shaking. And they always end class with a restorative stretch and a beautiful mantra for you to carry with you the rest of your day. This place does it all right!

To be honest I've never really been one for working out. Also, I am easily embarrassed so new workouts or new space can at times be intimidating if I feel I can't do it perfectly. So it's important to me to feel welcomed and to find a workout space that is super supportive of me, and I found that at The Barre Code Tuscaloosa.

Even before I started taking classes there, I knew it was a place I wanted to be because of how kind and genuinely supportive the staff was. With very little convincing, I tried my first class and I absolutely loved it! There are different kinds of classes, so it's easy to find the workout that matches your energy depending on the day. The owner Cat and all the instructors are incredible and make each class fun and inclusive, which removes any stress from feeling like I have to know what I'm doing (because I don't). The instructors meet you at your fitness level wherever that may be from "never tried a barre class before" to "I do this all the time." The studio also has a kids room, which is great for busy and working moms.

TL; DR: The Barre Code Tuscaloosa is an amazing place and you should come and try it. I promise, you'll be glad that you did and love it as much as I do!

I am so happy The Barre Code opened in Tuscaloosa. It's exactly what I look for in a workout studio - a supportive and encouraging group of women and an incredibly challenging workout. You will feel welcome here no matter your experience level in barre. I always get a really good workout that challenges my mind and body. Plus, there are several different types of classes, so you can work cardio into your weekly routine. I love that classes are 50 minutes long and every second is planned so you feel like the time you are putting in for yourself everyday is maximized and no minute is wasted. The staff is incredible and is so well-trained. They all have a different routine that is changed very frequently, so your workout never feels the same. I think that your workout place should be a space where you feel known, and Barre Code is really good at making everyone feel like family. With barre, cardio and stretch classes, it's truly a place you can get a well-rounded workout experience and never get bored.
