The last time I took my child to play I was charged $15, I only had 10 cash so the gentleman said that would be fine which I thought was strange because pricing should be set. I was considering taking my child back today and wanted to be sure on the pricing so I called to get more information and was told it is only $5 for my child to play and the parent gets in for free so I'm not sure if this is due to miscommunication or if the daytime staff is just setting their own prices as they see fit

This is a good PARA center when you can use it. The biggest problem, as others have pointed out, is the management and organization. We like to take our 2yo there when it's hot or raining so he can use the playground and we can alternate in the small gym. The issue is that you NEVER know if it's available. This place is old and underfunded, so I understand that they need to rent the amenities for additional funds. But, if members can't depend on it, it's worthless. The playground is rented either for birthday parties or by Druid City Derby pretty much all weekend every weekend. It would be great if there were blocks of time that it wasn't available for rent so the community could count on it. We call before leaving (would be nice to be able to check online). The problem with that is we were told it was free, drove there, then told it wasn't. We planned the day and feeding schedule around this and now have a very disappointed toddler. Sad.

I love this center. It’s in my neighborhood and I frequent it for the library, workouts and the indoor playground.
I had my son’s 2nd birthday here in December and it was perfect! I booked in August just to make sure I got my date. But it was such a breeze. I booked the 2nd option which comes with a bouncy house. We got there 30 min early to set up and they had to room looking so nice with the table set. The room is huge, plenty of seating for parents including the seating in the play area. The kids didn’t want to leave which is a sign of a successful kids party! We will be back for sure!!

We love coming here because it’s one of the few places in Tuscaloosa that has an indoor playground when it is raining l. Combine that with the pool, and it is an excellent place for our kiddos!

Staff is always late opening in the morning. Never towels or cleaning solution (almost always have to ask for things that are needed). One guy, I think his name is Micheal was so hung over one morning that he was falling over the counter. I do not like it at the Bobby Miller Center. I loved Faucett Brothers in Northport, but due to me purchasing a home I changed locations. Not one bad thing to say about Faucett Brothers, the staff is professional and courteous. The problem with Bobby Miller Center is that they have young staff that runs the place and that is their biggest downfall, verses at Faucett Brothers the staff is older and very respectful. I will be finding out more info on how to get changes at the Bobby Miller Center, and contacting the BBB.

There cancellation policy is a joke. They are charging me another month after I filled out the paperwork on May 17th to cancel my membership. I could understand getting charged another month if I had canceled 3 days before being billed but I filled out everything 17 days before the next billing cycle.

This place is great. I have a membership to all the PARA facilities but rarely go. Note that at the pool they have day lockers but not the kind you bring a lock for, you need to bring quarters. Maybe once the new years resolution people stop going I'll go again.

Love Bobby Miller the most for the therapeutic pool, water aerobics, and the playground and rock wall (when my grandson visits). Silver Sneakers pays for my use of the pool and pays for my water aerobics. No need for me to pay membership fees any longer since I have Silver Sneakers.

I loved this gym when I first started attending last year. Now the director only sit in her office and don't do anything when you complain to her out in the gym. Becoming disgusted with this. People bring their small children to the class and they running around while we trying to focus on our class. When an instructor is out sick they don't try to get an replacement. Or they will lie and say someone is coming and they don't show up. But they won't give you a discount for this. Management needs to fix these problems because people's are saying they are not going to renew their membership or go elsewhere.

We have a semi-annual Yu-Gi-Oh event here and really the only bad thing I can say about the location is the complete lack of cell phone reception. I'm not sure if the center can do anything about this probably not, but it does make them suffer in the star Department.

I can't speak to the price of the venue or anything since that's beyond my knowledge, I'm just a volunteer for the events. Most of the amenities look pretty neat, we use the basketball gym for our event and it suits us nicely.
