I first went to BF back in 2023. It was slightly better then. Left after about 5 months when they hiked the price from a reasonable $25/mo ($10 extra for tanning/sauna) to $35/ mo that included tanning/sauna (and a one time fee of $20 for the fob to get in). No other perks or improvements. As a matter of fact adding the ONE tanning booth to everyone was a terrible idea because you always had to wait. There was a second one that was going to be fixed with an Allen wrench"in a week" but months went by and nothing. I'd hear them tell new customers the same lie. So 2 years pass and I decide to come back, hoping there would be improvements. The only thing they invested in was paint and dumb motivational stickers. Oh and lots of threatening signs. There are no showers and not even a water fountain (they'll sell you overpriced drinks though! And anything else they have for sale is WAY overpriced). The tanning situation is still the same. The other bed will still be fixed "in a week". No working timer in the booth so if you get burned its "your fault". The worst addition to this gym is the allowing babies/children to have an area right in the middle of the gym! There has been many times I went just to listen to screaming babies/toddlers. Sometimes they are even running around the gym! This is such a liability and unfair to those who are working out! A gym is NO place for babies/children! Oh and the equipment is mostly run down and half of the fluorescent lighting either isn't working or is flickering which gives me a headache. There was one time BOTH bathrooms were out of order. They should've closed the gym for the day as it wasn't usable without bathrooms since you had to leave if you had to go. If I had known I wouldve skipped that day. I watched many people run out the door that day! Its such a mess there. Its sad because it could be SO much more but something like neglect has pretty much ruined that place. There aren't many other options around except a home gym, which is what I'm having to do now because driving 20 mins each way isn't worth the gas or prices they charge for a run down daycare with a gym. UPDATE: I wasn't trying to be mean or hateful and definitely NOT lying. Sometimes the truth hurts, but make some changes and my review will reflect. How much could it cost for a stick on timer like for an oven? Nobody in their right mind would touch that timer box that doesn't work. You can easily find fluorescent lights on Marketplace for cheap till you can replace for the ones you want. Maybe not give away money to charities and scholarships until your gym is not so run down. The tanning bed thing was a lie. There has only been the one booth for at least 2 years. There was no bed in that room when Jason showed us, he said yall would have one in a week and the other room would just be a storage closet. Also, the air conditioner situation was from people messing with the settings so Nest thermostats were purchased. Why lie? Just be honest. The reason you finally got a tanning bed (from Marketplace for $100) was because of my review. Why not get a water fountain in-between the bathrooms? Why have little children there? That plastic gate ain't holding nobody, especially toddlers. They run off to find their parents. Or babies in strollers get bored real fast and scream or sometimes they crap their pants and they are changed right there in the gym GROSS! Anyway, maybe all of your attention should be on that gym and you'd get more happy customers. This one is NOT. I'll stick with my home gym and buy a tanning bed for cheap on Marketplace. This was the first gym I ever went to after deciding I wanted to get in shape, and let me tell you it does not disappoint! The owners are super nice and will help you with any questions you may have, and they always greet you with a smile and a positive attitude when they are in so it’s great to see people like this running a business! There is also another lady up front at times (I’m not sure her name/position) but she is really nice and is also willing to help with whatever you need. They have drinks, snacks, pre-workout, and other things for sale if you ever forget something at your house and do not feel like driving back which is super helpful if you’re forgetful like myself, AND it’s at a FAIR price! Overall I rate this a 5/5 because I’ve seen nothing but the best from these people. Obviously you can’t please everyone but if you want to get in shape with a awesome environment and great people then I recommend this gym to you!

I can’t say enough good things about this gym! The owners and management are absolutely amazing. The prices are great especially with tan and sauna being included. You can’t even get just a tan membership at this price anywhere else.They’re always kind, professional, and willing to help. One of the biggest blessings for me personally is that they allow children, I haven’t found another gym locally that allows children. As a parent, if children weren’t welcome here, I simply wouldn’t be able to come and focus on my health. I’m type 1 diabetic and since starting here my A1C has improved tremendously. Being able to work out while knowing my little one is with me motivates me to stay healthy for her. I’ve noticed some negative reviews about kids being allowed, but from my perspective, it’s actually one of the gym’s biggest strengths. I’m not the type to leave my child unattended, she’s always where I can see her! She’s either in her stroller or in the designated children’s area. There are plenty of other gyms locally that don’t allow children if my kid being with me is such a problem to some of you. Allowing children fosters a family-friendly environment, teaches kids the importance of health from a young age, and builds a stronger community overall. I’m so grateful this gym understands real life and supports families in their wellness journey. Truly a five-star place in every way!

We’ve been to Braz several different times and it’s never a disappointment. They’ve gotten new additions to the gym. MASSAGE CHAIRS, NEW GYM EQUIPMENT and my personal favorite a CHILDREN’S CENTER!!! There are literally no gyms that allow children around here and it is so hard for single parents or even just parents in general to be able to go to the gym and better themselves. Some parents don’t have a support system or anyone to leave their children with. They also have a lot more equipment than most gyms around here do!! I feel that the memberships are also at a decent price. I 100% recommend braz fitness!!!

I see there are a lot of hateful posted related to kids at braz fitness, as a mother of 3 under 4 and twins at that the only gym I can go to that accepts children is braz fitness I don’t have a village of people to help watch my children so for me to be able to workout this gym is a huge blessing. We have been going here for over 3.5 years we love braz fitness and are so appreciative that they allow us to bring our kids.

Some of previous comments are interesting. What gym doesn't ask that you wipe down your machine when done? Who doesn't want to do that? Do yall have bad hygiene in general? I've gone to Planet Fitness and even Golds gym when it was still around, and those gyms also asked that you wipe off your machines. It's actually kind of gross to expect someone else to wipe up your butt sweat and germs lol Anyway...I love this gym! I like that it's 24/7 so I can come and go as I please. Management has been nothing but nice to me every time I've seen them. Other gym goers are also very friendly and I've always felt safe when working out. Now that it's summer time, I bring my sons with me. My teenager plays football so he likes getting in the extra workouts. I tell everyone I meet about Braz :)

Do NOT waste your money joining this gym. Some of their equipment, they have duck tape holding the protective foam together. They took the timers off of the tanning beds, which is ILLEGAL and EXTREMELY dangerous and says it's the members responsible if they get burnt. They have NO showers, And they make the members wipe down the equipment rather then ITS THERE responsibility.

If I could choose zero stars, I would. If you want to be a customer who is assaulted by the manager while the owner sits by and watches, this is the place for you. Assaulting an older man, and then assaulting two other men for trying to de-esculate the situation is so unbelievably unprofessional and disgusting.
EDITING TO ADD: They are trying to get people to give good reviews to cover for them. Don't fall for it. They block anyone that calls them out about the truth. This place is a joke.

Do not recommend. The manager is emotionally unstable. She relentlessly harassed and attacked three men, one of which was an elderly man. She also attacked a man trying to come in between them, and my husband for trying to hold her back so she wouldn’t get hurt. She deliberately got rid of the evidence and purposely avoided posting other camera angles for her benefit. The way she acted on social media proves how extremely unprofessional she is.
