Downtown Gym at 515 Gunter Avenue, Guntersville, Alabama, is a 24-hour access gym with lots of free weights, cable weight equipment, hydraulic equipment, treadmills, ellipticals, and a recumbent bike. We currently have some yoga classes taught by a certified instructor included in membership. Contact us for individual and family rates. An experienced onsite trainer who trains members of all ages by appointment and charges a separate fee for training is at the gym daily.

I worked in Huntsville Alabama but we stayed in Guntersville and enjoyed the fishing and the lovely people I worked out at the downtown gym for over a year and the place is just perfect the price is awesome and the owner is a very nice lady who will sign me up in minutes at her office loved my time their wish I could go bsck

The people here are fantastic, but the gym needs to be updated badly. It definitely felt like stepping into someone's grandparents' storage unit.

I utilize this gym when I come to visit my mom. They offer a daily or weekly fee. It’s an old school setup and I love it. Owner is very accommodating and the 24 hr access is great.

I stumbled on the Downtown Gym while visiting the Guntersville area. The owner is very responsive and accommodating. I enjoyed the yoga classes. The yogis were friendly and made me feel very welcome. The instructors were supportive and taught yoga styles that were appropriate for all skill levels. I didn’t use the other parts of the gym, but there is a wide variety of equipment options. I look forward to my next visit.

First off...The best thing, they require NO CONTRACT!
It has a small gym feel to it but is actually larger than it appears. There are 2 levels. Upstairs has about 90% of the workout equipment. Downstairs has a few machines and plenty of space for classes, yoga etc. Great for men and women!
