I've been working with Jason for almost five years now, and I can't say enough good things about my experience with him. Jason does an amazing job of learning how to best help each of his clients individually. He takes a holistic approach, encourages goals, and does a super job of following up. He learns each client's body's vulnerable aspects and is very careful to work around those, while strengthening or helping to heal them. He is such cheerful, compassionate, and kind person. Both my husband I work with Jason, and we joke that the most commonly uttered phrase in our house is, "Jason says..."

Jason is simply phenomenal. He is exceptionally knowledgeable about all things health and fitness, explaining research studies as he goes to back up all the exercises/treatments he prescribes. This gives me great confidence in him because he is clearly not following the latest fitness trends and knows what works. After unsatisfying experience with chiropractic treatment, I came to him with back problems that he correctly diagnosed and treated. Jason cares deeply about his clients having good overall well-being and fitness that will contribute to getting stronger, faster AND have longevity. I have already referred several friends to Jason and will continue to do so. Cannot recommend him enough.

I have been training with Jason and Chappy for a year and a half. I had 3 knee surgeries prior to starting with them and my mobility was not good. They did an assessment, discussed my goals and continue to challenge, encourage and help me reach each NEW goal WE set! Jason constantly reads and keeps up to date on anything to do with fitness....exercise, diet, lifestyle and shares this information with his clients. I started working with Jason to help regain my strength and confidence after a chronic illness diagnosis. He has done wonders for me in all realms of my health; heβs helped me build strength using exercises specifically tuned to my needs, heβs guided my diet to help my gut heal (part of my illness is poor gut health), and most importantly, heβs made me confident again. Being sick all the time makes you feel fragile, but Jason made me see that even though Iβm disabled and I still have challenges, Iβm still strong too!

Iβve been working with Jason for 2 years now. I was recovering from knee and shoulder surgery. Jason developed a training regime to work with these injuries in mind. Jason is great to work with. I was his client when he lived in Iowa. When he was my trainer, I was in the best shape of my life and the strength training he recommended to me helped to fix my knee problems and improve my mile running time by a full minute!

I started training with Jason with the goals of building muscle and strength. His holistic approach has convinced me that I made the right decision. He combines his knowledge about training and conditioning with his zest for promoting overall good health, which shows in his focus on diet and lifestyle in addition to working out. Moreover, he is one of the nicest people on earth! I say so because he has been very accommodating given my schedule and the resources available to me. In my apartment complex, I have access to a very modest fitness center. Instead of forcing me to join a gym, Jason continues to amaze me with excellent "lesson plans" despite the limited set of machines and equipment available to me.
I might also add that I work with Jason online because I live in Ohio, and not in Alabama. I trained with him very briefly in the past when we were both living in the same city. When I resumed training this fall, I knew Jason would be the best trainer for me! Given that he wants to give his 100% to his clients, it is understandable that he was, initially, hesitant to try online sessions. Regardless, we did a test run and decided to give it a go. During our training sessions, we utilize video calling features in apps like Facetime, Skype, and Whatsapp. Let me tell you that I am very satisfied with all the sessions I have had with Jason so far. Technology does work like a charm, and a trainer like Jason is willing to go the extra mile to help clients like me who do not live in Alabama. I may be envious of people who can work with him in person, but I hope many more people, near or far, can take advantage of training with him.
I could go on and on, especially about Jason's sense of humor, which makes some of the tougher workouts slightly more enjoyable. All said and done, I definitely see myself working with him in future, and I highly recommend him as a trainer and fitness coach.

Jason knows backs and knees. He has helped me reduce the pain in my back 100% and strengthen my knees so that I can hike/bike without worrying about falling. He is patient and cares about his clients. Need a metabolic boost--he's your guy!
