This facility is really nice. We have been here for numerous indoor volleyball tournaments in different seasons for high school and club ball. It has one entrance and exit for the building as a spectator. There are bathrooms within seconds of the courts, which is great. The only downfall is there is one food area and it is the opposite end of the entryway. The food area is very nice though. There were loads of healthy and not so healthy options available, including acaí bowls!!! I enjoy coming here for tournaments.

Amazing sports facility! Great for the kids. Staff is great. Place is clean! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the parking places are awful and way too narrow. Good luck if you have babies or a diaper bag you are trying to get out, or if someone in the spot next to you doesn't park perfectly. I understand getting as many parking places as possible to facilitate the most people, but they are so narrow it barely fits my little compact suv and I can't even open my door without feeling like I'm going to smash my door into the car next to me. And I'm a very slim person.

NOT ENOUGH SEATING! It’s a nice gym, but NO seating. There is only a few hard metal bleachers that sit on the floor (literally) and a bunch of fold out chairs for the volleyball players bags… If you don’t provide seating, at least allow outside chairs. On a positive, the bathrooms are super clean

Finley Center was great for our VB tournament. There were 16 courts, a track above the courts Everything is nice and modern. Bathrooms had lots of stalls and we're much better kept than last year. No lines.

Seating stinks. The bleachers literally have the front row squatting. The top row of the bleachers are back to back with an opposite facing set of bleachers, so if you sit on the top (third) row, someone is leaning against you.

Outside chairs were not permitted.

The walking track is nice. The space is good. But be ready to sit on the floor or stand all day if you don't want to sit on the bleachers.

It is a beautiful and nice facility I enjoy the walking track when it's open, it stays more closed than it is open. The walking track is never in the way so not sure why it affects anyone. I wish they had a walking facility that was consistently available and open. It is so comforting to walk indoors and not be affected by the rain or outdoor temperatures.

It's always a pleasure visiting the Finley Center for tournament weekends! My organization, Vintage Warriors Inc., had a fantastic experience competing in the Southeast Regionals UA Future Circuit event held from April 27th to April 28th.
The Finley Center is an excellent facility, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The organization by Under Armour for this event was outstanding, and I'm excited about the future of this circuit.
Overall, we had a wonderful time, and we're eagerly looking forward to what lies ahead in future events at this great venue.

Traveled to the Finley Center for a food show. The center was very open and fit over a couple hundred vendors. The arena was clean, and the staff was very helpful with electricity questions and cleaning up while walking around. It was easy to get around, and bathrooms were clean and close by. The parking lot was under construction, but it was still easy in and out of traffic. Just be aware of the main road to get in gets backed up in the morning.

We visited the Finley Center in January of '24 for a volleyball tournament. So spacious, great concessions, clean bathrooms, and plenty of parking. Seating was limited for a tournament of that magnitude, but there was a lot of standing room. We noticed that some visitors that had been there before brought soft over-the-shoulder chairs, and that was a great idea. Overall totally impressed with the facility, and can't wait for our next tourney there.

This is such an awesome venue! Great parking, clean restrooms, plenty of space for vendors. Climate is very comfortable. There is a covered entry for rainy/cold weather if you have someone who needs to be dropped off. Plenty of room for vendors campers/trailers to the back right side plus food trucks close to the door. Safe, easily accessible location in Hoover. Highly recommend!

My car was broken into within 3 hours of me arriving there in broad daylight. It was a basketball tournament with thousands of people there no one saw anything or heard anything.i asked employees is there any security watching the parking lot and they said security is only on the inside because people get rowdy. I guess the outside doesn’t matter. I was also told there is no cameras. I was parked fairly close to the building. Employees were nice and helpful gave me trash bags to put over my window. I believe we were targeted by someone sitting and watching the parking lot because they only broke into my car and there were so many other cars around me. No security in the parking which there should be bc the lot is huge and there are so many out of town people that travel there for events.

Venue for volleyball is ok not great compared to others in the mid south. Poor lighting and blinding lights from above distract setters and hitters. Complete lack of adequate seating for the paying adults just makes for a long uncomfortable weekend. I write this sitting on the floor as there are no places to sit. The bleachers are miniature and probably meant for pre school sized kids. Too bad. It's a nice building but I would not want to come back.
