If you been a member when they were YouFit & Fitness1440, look at how much they're charging you. Chances are they're overcharging you.

YouFit was $8.99 a month. That was cool, then they were bought out by Fitness1440, said that they would increase rates based on your YouFit membership by $1-$19.95 ONCE A MONTH. Look at my transactions and tell me if you see a charge within those numbers. You can't, to make things worse I was charged twice a month, sometimes 3 times a month for a gym that did no changes all year.

I asked why I'm being charged so much and they spewed some BS about how they're 24hrs now with other amenities I never seen.

To make matters worse, they were bought again and is now called Bailey Cove Fitness and that rates will start at $9.99. Great, they'll drop your rate without you doing anything like they increased your rate right? WRONG. After that email I was still being charged way too much and the guy at the desk said that I had to come in to request the cheaper membership. Mind you we didn't have to come in to request that they tripled our rates here. In the Bailey Cove Fitness email it didnt specify to do that either. On top of that he said I had to pay a $49 enrollment fee to get the lowest membership. How wild is it that you have to pay to downgrade?

And of course he said I can't get any of the money back. I have basically paid for the whole year with these overcharges I've had. I seen posts of how Asia is responsive but she did not respond to my email. The billing service that they used said I had to talk to the gym which don't make sense when the billing service is what's been taking my money.

I'm definitely trying to get my money back, but either way I'm done with this gym. Haven't been accurate or trustworthy since it was YouFit. Shady practices but I'm not surprised, just gyms being gyms.

Clean and nice facilities and friendly people. However, I never got a notification that this gym is not part of the Fitness 1330 franchise anymore. The location does not show up on the Fitness 1330 website and I have heard from people that it is now called 'Bailey Cove Fitness'???

What does this mean for people whom signed a contract under Fitness 1330 when it was a franchise?

I wish that the gym can create a social media page or website to keep us informed as currently i have no idea who owns the place and if our contracts are still valid.

👎 WOULD NOT BUY A MEMBERSHIP

As with most gyms, it's easy to get in but not easy to get out. This gym might be the worst for cancelling a membership, it's been several months now of attempting to cancel it but without avail. The management for this is horrible and it appears no one at the physical location can cancel it for you.

The facilities itself is pretty clean and well kept, but if you ever plan to cancel your membership or move, I would not begin one here at all.

Great fitness center, clean, and with dumbbells and barbells beyond Smith machines. Enjoy the 24/7 aspect to be able to come when convenient and on weekends. Highly Recommended.

This gym is impossible to get out of. Once you start a membership you can only cancel if you have a medical condition or move 25 miles or more away from the gym. If you don’t have a medical condition or live within 25 miles then you’re stuck in a one year contract. Do NOT get a membership here

I've been going to this gym for a long time. The staff is knowledgeable friendly and overall everyone is really chill and not judgmental. I see all kinds of people and all kinds of fitness levels and that makes it mentally accessible for someone that's introverted like myself.

I have been training at this gym many many years and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the facility and the courtesy of the staff. If anyone is looking for a true training experience without any of the distractions that have become the norm then this is the place to train. Whether you want to lose weight, get fit or train seriously for competitions this is the place to do just that. I almost never ever leave recommendations or reviews but I made an exception in this case. Here’s the secret sauce,, Real Training can be done here. We all want our efforts to be appreciated,, here you can build your dream body to present to the world. It is said that one should disappear for 6 months and build in secret. Stop in and say hello to Asia and her friendly staff, she will welcome you and her staff will put you on the path. Greatness perceived will become greatness achieved. Put in the work at a gym designed just for that purpose.

I have tried gyms all over Huntsville and Fitness 1440 knocks them out of the park by far . The gym is always clean and has exceptional staff. The manager was beyond helpful getting me signed up for a membership . Highly recommend!

Fitness 1440 is a phenomenal gym! I signed up for a thirty day trial and couldn’t be happier. The management and staff are always friendly and helpful. The gym and facilities are always clean. I have visited many overcrowded and rude gyms, that is not the experience here. I’m happy to call this my new “gym home”.

I have visited several commercial gyms in the Huntsville area over the past 18 months, but none can touch 1440. The staff is super friendly and Asia, the manager, always goes above and beyond to make sure her members are taken care of. The memebers are super friendly, and are always willing to help each other. The facility is always clean, and the equipment is always operational. I feel comfortable walking away from my gym bag and personal belongings without any worry of someone bothering them. The gym is situated directly next to the HPD south precinct and the parking lot is well lit. I always feel safe coming and going, no matter what time it it is. 1440 is also 24/7.

I am not sure if corporate knows how this poor place is presenting itself. I called to ask to be taken off the list and not only did the girl who answered the phone(who I will not name) stumble over the business name, she hung up on me after I asked to be taken off the list. The promotional texts that are sent out must be written by a 12 year old with the amount of grammatical errors they have. This is embarrassing for them.

One of the most unprofessional businesses/gyms in town. We were offered a 30-day free trial and were told we could both get a veteran membership discount if we "just lie and say we were both veterans" (my husband is a veteran, I am not). We cancelled the free trial after only going for 2 weeks to join another gym and were told we would not be charged any membership fees. We were in fact charged a membership fee the following week and when we called to get it refunded, we were told they are unable to process refunds. We called the gym's financial institution and they informed us the gym is in fact able to process refunds. So, the financial institution called the gym on our behalf, and the gym hung up on them. This place is a scam. Do Not Go!

DO NOT GO HERE! I would give it ZERO stars if I could. You will regret it and also be charged for a membership you never signed up for. Their "free" 30 trial will end up being a membership within the first week. I was told I had to call their financial institute to have a refund issued and my account closed; only to find out that their financial institute also can not issue refunds, so then the financial institute called the gym on my behalf while I was on hold FOUR times and the gym force hung up the phone on their own financial group. The financial group apologized for the gyms unprofessionalism and sent an email with me cc'ed to have a refund issued by the gym (which they can do) and confirmation my "membership" was cancelled. Fingers crossed. DO NOT GO HERE if you value a clean, customer friendly gym experience. The place is disgusting.
