There is a no cooler and no generator policy for summer time tournaments. I can somewhat understate the generator policy, however don’t make rules preventing people from bringing food and drinks in coolers when your concession stand ran out of food at noon on day 1 of a 4 day tournament…..they just want your money. Fields are decent tho if that’s all you care about.

Day 2 update: it’s 2 pm here and the concessions are out of everything you/kids would need to hydrate. Gotta love the “ No coolers allowed” policy…

Foley Sports Complex hosted us this week for a 9u tournament. It a very well run park and we had great fun interacting with the help, who were older kids making some extra $$ for the summer. Ahh life appears to be as it should be here in this part of the country, and it feels nice. Our team won, which made the trip out from Houston worth it! At the end of the tournament our hosts came and thanked us personally. We had a great time.

The soccer fields are nice but for larger events, parking is horrendous!! Skip the entrance and jump the curb for MUCH quicker and easier parking! And if you play on or around field 7, park at the Elks Lodge and climb the fence

The complex itself was ok. Charging a $15 a day entry fee for a multiple day softball tournament where there was only one or maybe two games played, Is utterly ridiculous.

Need better bathrooms. Only a couple of toilets to use when you are hosting tournaments isn't even right, making softball players late to the next games. The snack bar isn't perpare for hosting big tournaments running out of items and not letting people know they are out until they are at the windows.

Great facility for softball. We were here for a softball tournament. The facility was clean and well kept. The staff on site were very friendly. They had trees throughout to provide a little shade. The fields were spread out, unlike most fields venues. The restrooms had fans in them to assist in cooling down. The concession stands were average for concessions. The tournament did a nice job bringing vendors to the field, aka photographers, shirts etc..

The fields are nice, but the gate fees are ridiculous. $40 per person for the tournament we ALREADY PAID FOR.

Also, their umpires are terrible. We had a guy who had no equipment on behind the plate, then had the nerve to WARN the catchers that they should block better.

The lazy field umpire, had his back turned to the field, missed several calls because he wasn't paying attention, and he was on his phone on the field during the game!

As a local, I live 3 minutes from these fields. I have been to softball tournaments for 2 years.
Each of the teams pay $480 to play here.
The daily admission cost for each coach, players, and visitors is $15.
With that being said, the Foley Sports Complex has never operated the scoreboard to a single game I’ve attended.
Come on now, we can do better than this!!

This is the worst complex I’ve been to in regards to having the fields ready!! We were scheduled to play at 3:30 and at 4:12 they walked out on the field to move ALL OF THE BASES, including home plate! Not to mention, they had to rechalk the entire field!!! So much for staying on schedule!! What’s the point of having a schedule if it can’t be followed as close as possible!! Poor Management to say the least!!!

Great place for birding, such a nice variety of sparrows, blue birds, warblers, eastern meadowlarks and an occasional vermillion flycatcher. Walking the grounds through the fields and around the ponds you will love this area. Bring your kids to the playground.

Best sports complex I have been to in some time. The “parking lot” is very bumpy and needs to be grated, or why not just pave it since clearly money is not a concern for this place. But other than that, we loved our time here. There’s zero shade so bring a tent or umbrella for your team (on the bench) and for yourselves. Also it’s directly behind OWA so on our last day of the tourney we went there to ride the big roller coaster & it did not disappoint.

Terrible experience mangerment and one umpire with a bad additude and not enough knowlegde about game. 3 umpires on field and no call on a play. It took 5 to 10 minutes for them to figure out who should make a call. On a tag at second. Rediculus. Then i question director about play and he kick me out of park. The City apparantly does not spray or stay on top of having the facility sprayed for gnats!
It's ridiculous that the umpires and players are out there swatting gnats while attempting to call and play a game, much less the spectators.
