I'm giving Healthplus 2 stars not because of staff, equipment, and workout space. It was very nice place to workout. I cancelled my membership back in Jan 2019 because it was not affordable anymore I was paying $70 monthly. I recently noticed 9 months later ive been getting charged for service. They will only go back 6 months so as I was told its my fault along with there fault. Check you account because when submitting a cancellation that was confirmed through email means nothing at all.

I am an aquatic physical therapy client at Rehab Works so I'm there a few times a week for pool therapy and I must say the staff there is kind and courteous. Throughout my 2 months of therapy, the facility is always clean, there are always clean towels, coffee, fruit and lemon water. The housekeeping is impeccable especially the dressing, toilets and shower rooms. Those ladies keep it clean and they have smiles on their faces and they actually are kind and interact with the patrons. (A+😉) I've toured the gym and other areas and was impressed. If I was an EAMC employee I would choose Health Plus over Max fitness ANYDAY.

I started going to Health Plus as part of the The Goodson Oncology Wellness Program. I got a free 3 month membership and personal trainer as I was undergoing chemotherapy. My trainer (Monica) was wonderful and I looked forward to going every visit. It helped me fight physically and mentally against the effects of my chemotherapy. I am now cancer free and I am still going to Health Plus 2 years later. The staff and especially the trainers are wonderful. There is a great variety in people who are at the gym. There are many older people, middle aged people, and younger people. I have always felt comfortable and at ease. Highly recommended.

The facility is nice and clean. The staff are so helpful. They are a full service health spa/gym. Exercise equipment, weight room, personal trainers, massage, pool, sauna, showers, multiple fitness and strengthening classes.

I've been going to this gym for over 10 years and have become really acquainted and comfortable with the members and the staff.

Unfortunately, I have been very unhappy with them shutting the saunas off waaay before schedule closing time. In the past 3 weeks this has happened to me 4 times, amongst other members who were also complaining.

They say they shut the saunas off for cleaning between 830pm to 9pm. However, I was in at 8pm and a member who was in the sauna before said it hadn't been on in a while. There have been several times where i changed out of my clothes to get into the sauna only to find out it doesn't turn on to blow steam.

For the price we pay as members (which is extremely expensive compared to other gyms) you would think that you would get your money's worth of being able to use all of the gyms services until closing time, or atleast a few minutes until closing. WRONG! This is very disappointing to say the least.

Oh, and if you are in the pool, they will try and run you out of there too, even if it's 820 and they close at 9.

Staff was very welcoming before and when enrolled. Afterwards was a below average experience. Cancellation terms were also vague and when I was billed for months where there was no service Barry the manager only wanted to recite terms and policies.. Not provide care or customer service. It is a shame that they have the EAMC name associated as they do not uphold the standards of service.

I wish I could rate them 0. We have been getting charged for the last 3 months after cancellation!!! They have been saying it was a mistake, and refunding it, but seriously do I have to call them every month to get a refund? stay away, find a decent place where you won't be tried to get ripped off.
