Ive been attending this gym for almost 2 years now I've seen it grown to the state it is now and man what a sight I'm glad I chose to be a patron at such a great establishment great friendly faces they always greet you with a smile the gyms clean and never dirty, and is well equipped with fans heaters etc they have a vast arrangement of weight machines for everyone as well as free weights, basketball court batting cages and wrestling room I can't wait to see these guys blossom at hometown athletics

Great place and great owner and awesome equipment. Hidden location but has nice basketball court,baseball cages,wresting mats,and soon golf simulator but mainly great weights and eqipment for any kinda workout you need

Kris is awesome to work with! She came up with a plan for me to help me start losing postpartum baby weight while still being able to nurse. There was a difference even after the first week. She calculated my macros, sent meal ideas and checked in regularly. She’s also super uplifting and doesn’t make you feel bad if you mess up. Highly recommend her!!

Kris is the BEST! She keeps a clean, well equipped, small town gym so people can get a work out in at any time of the day. She also offers personal training and an app that helps you reach all your goals. I am so grateful to her and her sweet little family for Hometown Athletics.

No regrets! So glad I decided to step out of my comfort zone and do the 6 week challenge with Kris. I am 54 years old with a history of lumbar surgery x3 and neuropathy. Kris helped individualized a workout and diet plan that was manageable with my work/life balance. Kris was so easy and helpful to work with and she was always available if I had questions. I would recommend Kris at Hometown Athletics to anyone wanting to lose weight, gain energy, improve your sleep, and build muscle strength.

Kris has been such an invaluable resource in my fitness journey. I'd struggled with my weight for a few years and reached a point where I felt like I was never going lose the weight. Kris came in and evaluated my personal goals and came up with a plan to fit my needs. She referred me to a local personal trainer to help me get back in the gym and get comfortable with weight lifting again. She calculated my macros and calories based on my activity level. Our weekly check-ins really helped me stay on track and realize where I was truly struggling. Thanks to Kris, I now feel comfortable stepping out on my own and continuing with my weight loss because I have all the tools I need to be successful.

I love this place and especially Kris, the owner and my personal trainer. She is very knowledgeable about what I, as a senior adult, needs to be doing to strengthen my core and increase mobility. She is very attentive and makes certain that every move is done correctly, and even keeps up with my reps better than I do. I wish everyone had a Kris in their life!

I honestly do not know where to begin. I came to Kris over a year ago when I had hit my a dry patch and was no longer losing weight or seeing progress in the gym. I had lost all confidence in myself. Kris not only helped gain my confidence back but I started seeing results within the first week. She answered all of my questions, pushed me to reach my goals, and macros, and held me accountable. She even helped me in my ACL recovery. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. She’s the BEST.

I HIGHLY recommend having Kris as your personal trainer!! She customizes workouts to what you are able to physically do and increases when your body is ready for more. I never feel stupid when asking her a question - she is so friendly and approachable! Instead of feeling judged because you're out of shape you actually feel good about yourself when around her! I've learned so much from her about nutrition (the app is amazing to track everything!) And I know my way around some gym equipment now! Lol! Seriously, check her out!!

Kris has changed my life. I was struggling because I couldn’t find a trainer that would be sensitive to my situation, but also tough enough to keep me going. Kris gave me much more than that! She cared for my well-being, was flexible to meet my needs, and was always there to answer whatever questions I had! No matter day or night, training day or off day, I knew I could count on her. Her workouts were challenging, but not outside of my abilities. If I was hurting in any way, she would adapt the workout to make sure I met my needs while maintained the health of my body. She truly is an amazing person, and an amazing trainer. If you’re looking for a cheerleader in and out of the gym, a trainer with compassion, and a push toward your best life - look no further. I did one on one sessions with Kris. I personally have never been in a gym other than to do cardio. The equipment was a little intimidating and I feared I wouldn’t use it properly. She taught me so much! My form, how to use it and how to watch what I eat. She made it so easy. She’s is so willing to help. She wants you to ask the questions no matter how silly you think they are. She is AMAZING!!!!! I can’t say enough good things about her. Just do it! Go to Kris! Start feeling better about yourself. YOU are worth it and worthy!

I'm so glad I found Hometown Athletics and Kris McCoy! I'm in my 50s, and after developing arthritis in my knees was feeling my age. My doctor suggested strengthening my muscles. Kris has helped me ease into strength training, all the while keeping my knee pain in mind. The pain is pretty much gone and I'm excited to get stronger and stronger and avoid being a frail old lady with Kris as my personal trainer. She knows her stuff, motivates and is the sweetest! Even my grandson is impressed by my muscles!

Kris is extremely knowledgeable! She talked with me to discover my areas of concern which I really wanted to target. At 66 years old, there are many….. I have had lumbar surgery with 2 rods and 4 screws, hip replacement, and knee replacement. Kris tailors my workouts accordingly. Workouts have been varied and challenging without pushing too far. On top of the physical workouts, the macros tracking is awesome! I have been training with Kris 2 1/2 months and can already tell a significant difference. I highly recommend Kris snd Hometown Athletics for everyone!!! I wish I hadn’t procrastinated so long and started sooner….

Where do I even begin?!?
When I first signed up with Kris, in my head I really just wanted someone to hold me accountable. She not only does that but she is there for all your questions and needs also! She goes above and beyond! Not only have I had much success in her program (it really does work!) in the fitness aspect of it all but also mentally! If you're thinking of joining up with Hometown Athletics .. DO IT!
If money or the "I don't know where to begin" is in the back of your head... just take the plunge and everything will work out!

Kris is by far the best trainer I have ever worked with. She is super knowledgeable, encouraging, and honestly, it just feels like you’re working out with your best friend. I have some special dietary situations, and she helped me figure out a plan. She’s also amazing at communication and helping you get workouts in between a busy schedule. She also offers online training that makes you feel like you’re right in the gym with her. I can’t say enough about Kris. I’m by no means an athlete, but she helped me get strong and work on my lifting technique. You won’t regret working with her!
