My daughter cancelled her membership months ago (after they made it as complicated as possible) and they’re still charging her for it. Total scam. Beware.

I have attached a screenshot of an employee offering to fraudulently sign my consent form which I never consented to and was clearly done on my behalf without my permission. I did not ever fully sign up or consent to a membership, nor did I utilize the facilities. I did not ever come back in to sign, meaning my membership was forged.

Please cancel my membership effective immediately and respond with a plan to reimburse the fees that I have paid under fraudulent circumstances for years. I will pursue this further as a total of more than ~$1600 has essentially been stolen from me.

HOTWORX has been completely unresponsive and this is unacceptable. I need to cancel my membership and be refunded as i have never utilized the services. I do not recommend this business.

I visited this Hotworx when I was in town. The staff were great. The workout equipment was well maintained. This is such a cool idea that allows you to get in and work out quickly without the hassle of a large gym. You never have a line or wait for equipment to become available. I love Hotworx. Highly Recommended.

It was my first time at this location and the front desk girls were so helpful with the membership process and everything! I totally recommend joining and having your friends join because it’s so fun and it’s such a great workout. Location is amazing!

I have been going here for about six months. This place is very expensive, but I thought it was worth it because of the great workouts and the positive atmosphere. Then, one day, I came in asking if I left my very expensive yoga mat at their studio. The owner aggressively said that she throws everything away that customers leave. She gave me so much attitude when I asked her if she had a lost and found and was like “it’s your fault for leaving it here. I’m running a business.” And she said this with such intense and aggressive attitude. I asked her, “so if I left my phone here, you would throw it away?” AND SHE BASICALLY SAID YES! She told me she thrown away her own customers’ car keys and apartment keys!!!!! Like is not that insane?????? Is that hard to have a lost and found like literally every business ever??!!! Oh and what’s more, she starts chewing me out for bringing my own yoga matt. She said ur only allowed to bring Hotworx yoga matts that they force you to buy. Hotworx yoga matts feel like bricks on my knees, so the whole time (6 months) I've been going, I’ve brought my own yoga matt. I see her employees (who are are super sweet and around college age) every time I go and they have never said anything to me. Well anyways she starts chewing me out, telling me her employees would never allow me to bring my own matt. And that it’s my fault she threw away my hundred dollar yoga matt for not following the rules when I had been going there for 6 months and no one told me. Like in the service industry, if u are charging ur customers a lot of money, you gotta treat them with respect at a minimum, and definitely not gaslight them for your own failures to enforce ur rules. Also wtffff she throws away anything you leave behind???? I dont know about yall but after working out in an 125 degree sauna for 45 minutes I am quite out of it and I’m worried im going to leave something important behind and she’s going to throw it away because she doesn’t believe in having a lost in found!! The crazy lady literally threw away her own customer’s car keys and apartment keys instead of putting them in a lost and found! What if I leave behind my keys, or ID, or something extremely valuable?? Anyways I cancelled my membership because I am not going to pay for an EXPENSIVE gym that runs their business in such an idiotic way with the most aggressive and disrespectful owner. This entire interaction her eyes look like they are gonna pop out of her head, you would think I just robbed a bank at the way she’s talking to me.

This place is an absolute scam. You are required to purchase their workout mat and towel for $125 because it’s made of “special” material that won’t melt in the sauna. There’s also a $100 cancellation fee that they do not mention when you sign up for a membership. Absolutely do not recommend.
