The whole experience at Izzy's was just OK.

Cons first. I walked in during open gym hours thinking I'd be able to pay a fee and workout on the bags. The two guys working there, Bryce and West, informed they don't do day passes but would be happy to charge me $30 for a 30m lesson. The lesson itself was pretty minimal effort from both of them. I've been to lots of gyms and done tons of lessons, and these two definitely rank in the bottom tier of coaches in terms of caliber, creativity, and effort to accomodate different types of customer.

Finally, the pros. They did accommodate me. The workout was OK, not great, but OK. And the gym is nice and has a lot of good gear.
