The best gym in the Birmingham area!!! They have brought my daughter so far in gymnastics after coming over from another local gym. She is almost done with her first competition season and we are still as happy as we were the day we walked in! The coaches are excellent and work hard with the girls to make sure they learn all of their skills safely! The facility is spacious and extremely clean.

This is my first time writing a review ever, and I don't usually complain much. However, I’ve been so frustrated with their communication skills and bad manners.
1. I was suggested by the instructor in level 4 to use my daughter's makeup lesson credit towards the next term. When I inquired the lady at the reception about using it in level 5, she told me that there was no such thing at level 5 and up. I could have used it in level 4. How wasteful!

2. They changed the schedule for the next term about 2month ago, but I didn't get an email. I was told it might have gone into my junk, but hey, guess what, I've been getting every transaction statement or promotion for the other classes!? Now my daughter has a schedule conflict. I wish they have tried multiple routes, for example by sending home a note with your child, uploading the info on their website, or sending out email more than once.

3. All this miscommunication was brought to my attention, I was more upset because of the mannerless encounter of the lady at the reception. She said everything so matter-of-fact way and rude. The same lady told me that there’s nothing she can do. I hate this management.

A well equipped gymnastics experience with much experience and help in developing a quality competitor as well as a fitness enhancement! Cameron and Bella were amazing young instructors that made the experience very pleasant! Thank You!

We like this gym for convenience and our teachers have been nice. But I really wish it was cleaner.

We go Saturday mornings at 9. The room connected to woman’s bathroom has food not in trash can and clothes thrown about every week and then sometimes I feel like gym mats/equipment could be cleaner.

Horrible summer experience. After 8 or more years of taking my children to summer gymnastics camp, we signed up thinking it would be like past years. We were wrong and discovered that they had completely done away with any gymnastics and it was nothing more than day camp. Refused to refund or prorate us after we wanted to quit the first day. Child got injured and sat out a few days while sibling did the camp, and even though we had paid and he was physically with me, they refused to give him a popsicle when they were giving all the kids one. Such a disappointing experience. Manager was borderline rude and whole experience was a let down. Do not send your kids thinking they will get gymnastics at the summer camp. They have cancelled all of the tumbling. Many excuses including that some parents had complained about their children doing gymnastics in years past…. AT A GYMNASTICS SUMMER CAMP. SIGH.

Will not be back here.

Edit: I see that the director responded. The counselors were aware my child was injured. He turned his ankle pretty badly and basically zero concern was shown by the counselors. It was up to me to pull him and thankfully, I was there. I should not need a doctor’s note when they witnessed it. Also, I have AT LEAST 8 other friends who had similar experiences this year. They also asked for refunds and were told no. You can say you advertised no gymnastics, but it’s a gymnastics facility and it’s misleading to those of us who sign up thinking that’s what we are getting. Guess that shows me not to ever assume anything.

I’ll politely decline the free session and still plan to look for a new option next summer, but appreciate the polite response from the owner.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. They are super patient with all of the kids and they love what they do. Sanitation and safety has been their focus during the Covid times. Our daughters love it and so do we.

Gym is super clean and has the best equipment. Coaching staff is knowledgeable and has safety in mind. This is a great place to let your child do recreational and competitive gymnastics. Gym owners/operators are professional and great leaders. So happy to have discovered this gym!

Sorry about my user name it is because I don’t feel safe about exposing my name on the internet. Very great place been taking at legacy for a few year and has been great we are at a new place now and you learn so much. They are even going to have a few more classes for adults I think. And considering it is summer normally it is hot and stinky in the gym but this new one has a great acondirioner. They even have a great few if we are waiting on a class or someone you can watch. And the coaches are you sweet and funny glad I am taking here. I have been to other gyms that are horrible and ones that are great but this one is the best, So glad to be here. I will never regret going to this gym.

This gym is the best gym I have went to so far other then it’s a little hot it has now upgraded to a larger gym and is now way big has a better seating area and has many more mats beams /etc and I love it so 5 stars it is also really close to where I live and is very organized and very welcoming and understanding and you can just drop your child off there and pick them up after there class is over

I'm seriously disappointed at Legacy! First off, they hire high school/college age kids to teach, and my daughter's teacher has ZERO carisma, zero interest in teaching. It looks like being a teacher at Legacy is just a side job to make some cash but nothing beyond that.
The place has NO air conditioner, so summers are MISERABLE!!! This big, stinking (seriously, an awful sour odor) warehouse becomes unbearable during spring and summer months!
You have to pay a $35 "registration" fee EVERY year! Right, they may not know that registration is for when you first register.
Now they came up with the idea that every recreational student HAS to participate in their showcase (meaning: another way to suck money out of your pocket!! $35 fee and $50 for apparel). I chose to have my child in the recreation team so I don't have to have all these extra expenses!! It's RIDICULOUS!!! I'm so FED UP with all the things they come up with to get some of my hard earned money! Not coming back once my contract expires!!

I joined this gym because it was very close to where I live. Wrong decision. I should have known that this organization was not the place I wanted to be, when on a weekly basis, my child's age group was left waiting in the lobby for a teacher who never showed up, leaving the staff to scramble around for someone to teach class. First impressions are everything, right, well I didnt get it. My child had an accident in which left her embarassed to go back to class, she didnt attend class for over 1 month by December. , when she finally had the guts to return her teach humiliated her again by asking her the question in front of a group of kids. Why? No clue. She didnt attend 4 months she attended 2 x's I continued to pay forgetting to cancel services, I called in February after paying for months not attended to cancel for March. Well apparently they held true to the notice for cancellation as they failed to follow through with thier agreement to teach 45 minutes of class. (Did not happen). First Gym experience worst ever. The gym is small and is disorganized chaos. Unprofessional to say the least.. I would recommend this to Noone.
