MPower is one of the best true Pilates programs I’ve experienced in Birmingham. The classes are well structured and uniformed; however, each instructor adds a unique essence making each class “different.” Oh, the music is also encouraging with great beats but to be honest, I don’t hear it most of the time. I get so focused on my form that it’s truly white noise. The instructors do a great job of identifying the right tips and encouragement just as you start to have the “quitting” conversation in your head. MPower is solid on music, instructors and format-a nice place for your Pilates journey.
No matter your fitness level or which fitness formats you’re conditioned, MPower Pilates will certainly challenge you (if not humble you).

I'm still in my first 2 weeks but everything has been great so far! All of the instructors I've had have been really helpful in correcting and pushing me. The classes aren't boring, I always leave sore which is awesome. I'm quickly catching on to the names of the moves so transitioning from one to the next is getting easier. Definitely recommend MPower

Elizabeth Anne was so attentive to ensure everyone had correct form in class. She gave specific feedback, was highly motivating, and very friendly! Mpower is the hardest reformer Pilates class I’ve done, but I really enjoy it and am sore in muscles I didn’t know I had. Highly recommend!

As a first timer of reformer pilates, MPower was a great place. I loved the intro to the reformer class which helped me learn a lot about the machine. They have classes for all levels. MPower mega former Pilates offers an extremely humbling and challenging workout experience. You can feel your body changing after every class. As a weight lifter, I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about something like this, but I’m OBSESSED. All of the instructors are great, but big shout out to Sydney. She was the instructor for my first class and made me feel comfortable, encouraged me, and corrected my movements as needed which shows they really strive for good and safe form. Definitely try this!

This was my first class, and Anna was incredibly helpful and accommodating. I’ll definitely be back! FYI – I had tried Lagree at a different studio in Houston before and was completely turned off because it felt too intense. This class was still challenging, but in a way that felt encouraging and motivating. So glad I gave it another try here!

MPower is definitely the most challenging Pilates in Birmingham! It is comparable to Solidcore, but even more difficult. I have loved the classes I’ve tried. The only complaint I have is the waitlist are 14 people long and then they charge a cancellation fee if you get off the waitlist and into the class, so that can be hard.

It was confusing at first with all the names of positions since we were first timers so it's very important to take the Intro class to understand the machine! I have nonexistent core and weak upper body so it does take time to build that up through consistency. These classes will help you work out muscles to didn't know you had!

I can’t recommend Mpower Pilates enough! As a 31-year-old guy who has been lifting weights and training consistently for 15 years, I thought I had a solid fitness foundation. But after just five classes, I realized how much I was neglecting key muscle groups—especially my core, legs, and stabilizers. Pilates has challenged me in ways I didn’t expect, and honestly, I love it.
At 6’0” and 200 lbs, I consider myself strong, but Pilates exposed gaps in my strength and mobility that traditional weightlifting never did. It’s also been fantastic for rehabbing my shoulder, which has been giving me trouble for a while. The controlled movements, focus on form, and deep core activation make it a perfect complement to weight training—especially for injury prevention and longevity.
And yes, I’m usually the only guy in class—but that’s actually been super motivating. The women in these classes are incredibly strong, and the atmosphere is supportive, challenging, and welcoming. If you're a guy on the fence about trying Pilates, just do it. It will humble you in the best way possible.
Mpower Pilates is amazing, and I’m hooked! Looking forward to making this a regular part of my routine.

This has been a great option for return to activity postpartum. The classes are challenging but the instructors are good about offering alternatives to appropriately push you while meeting you where you’re at. So many class times are available, which is also very helpful when balancing a newborn and soon return to work. I have a lot of lower back sensitivity and joint issues. These classes have been sooooo helpful with that. I feel like I am actually targeting areas of my body that I have never been able to target because it would lead to my lower back compensating. The constant reminder for mind to muscle makes this a really powerful workout. I feel like you’re really speaking to your body in a different way. You may not be covered in sweat and feel like you’re going to die like some HIIT stuff( which I also love) but it’s a different kind of burn and PUSH. I really love all the teachers. So far each teacher brings something different and challenging to the table!! the playlists are so good as well💙

I absolutely love M Power! The intro classes on Tuesday Thursday at 5:10 with Sally are amazing. You really learn how to properly do the exercises. I have been to 15 classes so far and it’s my new favorite work out. All of the instructors are extremely helpful and they really do care.

I have never done Pilates before in my life, I’ve done yoga maybe twice, and have struggled with injuries and inconsistency in my other fitness areas of cycling, running, and climbing. Tried this out on a whim because it’s in my neighborhood and have been wanting to find a regular class that will help me develop my core and other muscles I don’t get to work directly in other activities. I’ve loved it! It’s so ridiculously hard and I love being challenged in the best way each class. Still learning, but I feel very supported by the staff and other folks that join every week. This is something I plan to keep doing regularly, as much as I can!

Without a doubt, M power pilates is superior to any other Pilates in Bham. I’ve tried several others off class pass, but will only be going here from now on.
Not only do they have multiple locations, but there’s also cycle combo options and they have a new client special that’s hard to beat. They even gave a new pair of grip socks for your first class. I look forward to taking more classes here in the future!

I decided to try out Mpower after a friend recommended it, and it did not disappoint! The workout is unlike anything I have ever tried and by the end of the first class my muscles were on fire. I took part in the 2 week unlimited special, and now I’m hooked. The teachers are amazing and so helpful. 10/10 would recommend (if you don’t mind getting your butt kicked!)

I am currently 2 months postpartum and wanted to find a low impact workout that focuses on building core strength, and MPower is just that. I really enjoy the pace of the class, the instructors are kind and encouraging especially for beginners, and the actual exercise moves are different than what I could do on my own at home. I absolutely love pilates! I have a heart condition but am still consider myself and athlete and have to be aware of what my heart rate is doing! pilates takes all that stress off! I don’t worry about my heart rate and i can feel my muscles building! I would recommend pilates to everyone! the only down side is you have to stay on top of the classes to get in one.

So far, I really love it here! I am still trying to adjust, but so far so good. The instructors are great, and there is no feelings of competition when you are attending a class. I have not been to cycle yet, but my plan is to attend at least once. My favorite part is that when you are new to the club, they give you promotional offers, just to experience what it would be like if you were to join full time. Definitely a win in my book, when you are trying to figure out what gym and/or workout activity you are wanting to do.

Absolutely love MPower pilates classes! The classes are fast-paced but you can go at your own speed. The general classes are beginner-friendly and the beginner classes are super informative. I haven’t been able to lift weights for a while now due to previous injuries and I’ve found that pilates is an amazing alternative.
