Me and my husband has been on the weight loss shot and going to this gym for about a month and we’ve lost about 10 pounds and I love this gym. They’re so nice so friendly you come in it’s how are you doing by name when you leave, gym it is by name. is so friendly. I just love it. Couldn’t ask for a better gym. Top 5 so glad we picked it cause we was looking at 5 to choose from.

I love this gym! Sabrina, GM, is always working, cleaning, assisting-it shows in how clean and maintained the facility is - thank you! The staff are fantastic, every single one now. HOWEVER! I am taking time to write this review for a phenomenal trainer who is also a genuine, incredible human being that this world needs more of and her name is Samra.
I walked into the gym after recovering from some physical trauma and I couldn't quite get there. After a few months of feeling defeated and discouraged - ready to quit -Sabrina said "before you give up, let me put you with a great trainer - you'll love her". Hesitantly, I agreed. I started having sessions with Samra and WOW! She immediately picked up on my strengths and my weaknesses before I said a word. Her intuition and keen attention to detail when working with me is remarkable. A 30 minute session with her produces results that I couldn't obtain in two hours on my own. I always tell her it "hurts so good!" She challenges me beyond what I feel capable of, yet not to the point where I feel deflated - I always leave smiling and feeling like jelly- it is the best feeling! She is my biggest cheerleader while I am straining to get those last 3 reps out - something I didn't even know I needed. I thank her every session and tell her I appreciate her, but she will never truly know how much she has/continues to do for me. At 54 years old, I am gaining confidence I didn't have at 20. I feel strong, fierce and bold to carry my own in the gym and in my everyday life. She deserves all the accolades and then some. Thank you, Samra.

I love the gym itself! Very clean. Lots of options. It’s a good amount of amenities for the price. The smoothie bar is a huge plus too! However, I do not recommend the kids club as it is right now. I go in the mornings. The lady that is in there doesn’t come off as very friendly and I working with kids I feel that’s a huge must. Smiles, bright voice etc. she’s kind of dry. Also when I come in the kids are stuck in front of a tv and there’s NO toys out. No activities for the kids either. I guess they are suppose to play with the floor and the chairs. I was very disappointed. My son has been going to gym daycares since he was 6 weeks and I’ve not had trouble with him acclimating like I have with this one. Just a heads up to parents that like their kids to play with toys and not do a lot of screen time.

Update: Dear owner, I'd be happy to show you the email from ABC which stated I have to snail mail the request to cancel. And isn't the buyout fee $59 rather than the $60 you just said? Also, I removed the auto renewal myself, not ABC Fitness. This is my point... You keep telling incorrect information.
They are not transparent with how to cancel membership. I sent an email asking how to and was told I needed to email a third party, but they gave me the wrong email address. Then when I got that straightened out and sent the email, the third party responded that I needed to send a letter in the mail. Why didn't Phaze 3 just tell me the correct process?

I joined this gym shortly after its opening, and I must say, it’s been an overall great experience filled with numerous benefits. Although they’ve faced some growing pains, the team has consistently worked to recover and address any gaps. The site management team appears to be engaged and focused on providing a positive guest experience. I’ve been thoroughly satisfied and would highly recommend this location to anyone seeking a gym.

I can’t say enough good things about Samra! She’s not only an incredible personal trainer but has also become a great friend. She’s encouraging, professional, and truly supportive every step of the way. I’ve made more progress than I ever thought possible — and it’s all because of her guidance and motivation. She helped me stay consistent and show up for myself, even on the tough days. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for real results and genuine support!

It’s always extremely busy, people are rude, and they play graphic music videos on the tv.
SHAME ON YOU, Phaze 3, not only are you taking advantage of hard working people, but more so, you’ve taken advantage of at least 2 MILITARY VETERANS that I know.
I’ll go ahead and let you know (because they won’t tell you when you get a membership) this isn’t a month to month contract like I was told. It’s a YEAR and if you decide to cancel your membership early, you WILL be charged a $35 enhancement fee, $59 Buy-out fee, and another month of your membership fee! The math doesn’t add up but the total debited from my bank account equals $160, some shady stuff if you ask me.

******DO NOT JOIN******
—I have paid $⃝②⑥⓪ to cancel 2 memberships. I have went into debt because they just keep taking more and more of my money. As for the owner replying below.. if you were truly sorry, you would refund the money because, wow. That should be a crime.. $260?! The rich get richer and I’m once again stuck scrounging for coins that you intentionally drop. The noise is annoying to you so you drop the coins on the ground and mark it up as charity on taxes. I understand I signed the papers, and it’s entirely my fault. However, if I would’ve known that I was entering a 1 year contract, I would not have let my sister join because I knew she wouldn’t use the membership. I was told “month” NEVER did they say the words “1 year”. VERY GREEDY FOR AN OBVIOUSLY SUCCESSFUL GYM. A simple peasant like me cannot do anything but let them take my money. Please.. if you’re reading this, do me justice by not joining. Spread the word.
—Not open 24 hours which probably contributes to why it’s always busy. I’m an experienced lifter and it upsets me how busy it is. I have bench press to do, all the benches are taken. Also every possible variation is taken. There are times when entire dumbbell racks are empty. Every treadmill is taken.
—If you go there you will immediately notice how snobby the atmosphere is. I’ve come across so many people with roid rage or no gym etiquette. Don’t get me wrong, most the people are friendly. Just a very egotistical vibe. I scheduled to get a body scan and had to wait 10 minutes cause one of the staff was letting his friends try it out.
—As a male, I have to stare at the ground the whole time because it’s compression shorts, sports bras, and men with stringers… everywhere. I feel weird just being there. There was also a guy, twice, who just had his shirt off the whole time. Made me uncomfortable and it’s really disrespectful.
— I have joined Arsenal Fitness, check them out, they have a 3 day trial because it’s a powerlifting gym and not for everyone.

I have sent documentation of employment and pay stubs multiple times in order to cancel my wife’s membership due to her job transfer, which moved her an hour away from the gym. Despite this, the staff continues to refuse cancellation.
These Google reviews are accurate—there are multiple accounts of members being misled about how memberships work. While I personally enjoy the facility and continue to attend, the unethical practices and false statements leave a terrible impression of the staff.
It is especially insulting when, instead of addressing legitimate concerns, members are told they can pay an additional $59 to cancel. This feels less like customer service and more like a slight-of-hand tactic to trap members into paying more.
If these practices are not corrected, it will likely lead to a substantial membership drop-off as your one-year anniversary approaches. A gym should build trust with its members, not erode it.

Loud horrible music. Even outside. Messy. Have to search for cable machine attachments, not great choices either.limited kettle bells. Searched two floors and could not find two the same weight I needed in any locution no signs to wipe down equipment after use and not a single person I saw, except me, did. Limited spray bottles and wipes. . No plyometric boxes. Big fluffy gym for dabblers. Disappointing experience.

Working with Samra as a personal trainer at Phaze 3 Fitness has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. She is not only an incredible trainer, but also one of the kindest people I’ve met. She meets you where you are, pushes you in the best way, and celebrates every win right alongside you. Over time, she’s helped me grow so much in strength and confidence, and our sessions are something I always look forward to. I would like to share a review of my trainer, Laura Lewis. She has been a godsend as I try to reclaim some fitness after years of low activity due to some health issues. I have worked with trainers in the past and ended up injured and burnt out. Laura has helped me with form and safety while helping me towards my goal of building muscle and gaining stability. After 4 months, I listened to Laura's nutrition advice and gained 3 pounds of muscle and dropped 2% body fat in just over a month. Most importantly though, I haven't been injured or reached the point of physical/mental burnout like I have while working with trainers in the past and I am gaining confidence in my athleticism again. Thank you to Laura for her willingness to cater my workouts to my needs and abilities, and thanks to Phaze 3 for a maintaining a beautiful facility.

My review pertains to my trainer, Laura Lewis. I have to give Laura a huge shout out! I had been away from the gym for over a year due to injuries and other issues. I did not realize how much strength, and balance, I had lost until I started working with Laura. One of the things I appreciate most about Laura is that she constantly assesses my strengths and weaknesses and tailors my workouts to address both. Laura is supportive and encouraging, but does not go overboard during my workouts. She is very attuned to my body mechanics and offers gentle corrections when needed and/or modifies exercises when necessary. Although she makes me work hard for every bit of progress, I look forward to my workout sessions knowing that I am getting stronger, more flexible and healthier overall!

Phaze 3 is a top quality gym! My favorite thing about this gym is that they offer personal training, which was wonderful for me as someone who had never gone to the gym before and had no idea where to begin.
I've been working with Haley twice a week since March, and I couldn't imagine a personal better trainer! Haley personalizes every workout to my specific goals and tracks my progress to make sure she's always pushing me to challenge myself.
Beyond focusing on the actual workouts, Haley also makes it a point to talk about how your diet affects your progress as well. She helped me figure out my ideal daily calorie and protein intake and checks in with me often (and very non-judgmentally) to see how my food journey is going.
As a first time gym-goer, she made me feel so comfortable in a space that was all new to me. I love seeing my progress week after week, and I owe it to Haley for motivating and challenging me every step of the way!

I joined Phaze3 in March of 25 and signed up with a trainer, Haley. The facility has everything you could ask for — variety of equipment, an outdoor workout area, an indoor pool, and a wide variety of classes to keep things fresh and fun. It is always very clean even when the crowds are heavy.
A huge part of my success has been thanks to my trainer, Haley who’s been incredible at keeping me motivated and pushing me beyond what I thought I could do. She provides great workout plans, healthy meal ideas, and a wealth of knowledge about fitness and overall wellness.

Phaze 3 Huntsville is an incredible gym to be a member of with high-quality equipment and cool amenities! If you’re looking to try out personal training, I’d highly recommend Matthew Akinwunmi as he’s the best PT I’ve ever worked with! In two months I’ve noticed significant muscle toning and lost 7 pounds. He’s great at pushing me to reach new levels of fitness through varied and effective strength training workouts.
Each session is thoughtfully planned and unique, which keeps things interesting while targeting all the right areas! He’s also great at demonstrating form and checking mine to prevent injury, often providing me helpful modifications when needed.
What really stands out is how positive, encouraging, reliable, and fun he is to be around. I appreciate that he closely tracks my progress on varied exercises and adjusts my plan accordingly to help me continue improving. If you’re looking for a trainer who truly knows what he’s doing and is genuinely invested in your success, I’d highly recommend Matthew!

1. The front desk staff needs a huge overhaul. They are clueless on questions asked and not very responsive when you are standing at the desk. I've been standing at the desk and others have come after me and they attend to them, first. When brought up, their response is "oh, I didn't know who was here first". Well maybe if you all stop talking to each other and pay attention to the actual desk, you'd know who was standing there waiting. Training is in order for most of the front desk.
2. I had personal training here and my trainer moved out of state and I was ASSIGNED a new trainer (no one ever asked me who I wanted to work with).
3. The wait for using the cryo machines is horrible.
4. I've attempted to call the business SEVERAL TIMES, during business hours, only for the call to go STRAIGHT to voicemail.
I don't expect to continue my membership after this initial year. Even for what you pay, it's not worth the lack of services.

Some (not all) of the front desk staff need training on how to interact with members. The majority of the interactions are cold and leave me confused. The place is ran by teenagers who seem more interesting in talking to their friends or being on their phones than treating the members in a welcoming way. Good luck with a tanning appointment which must be made in person (only 2 beds). Towels are not included with any membership level, they're extra. Extremely busy with limited hours compared to other options that are less expensive. I don't expect to continue my membership after my initial year. It seems nice at first but you will soon see all of the problems.

The gym is filled with squat and bench presses but lacks enough equipment to support how many people go there. Example: 100-200 people go on a Monday at 5pm. There is one hip thrust machine in the whole building. Maybe 2 hip abductor machines? If you're into anything other than squatting or bench pressing you will be waiting in line. There is also a total of two tanning beds with a two hour wait at times (that you pay 10 extra bucks a month for). Also you can sign up there, but have to wait 30 days and send an email to cancel. Do not recommend this place.

Urgent Attention Needed: Spa Unavailability at Phrase 3 Huntsville
I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the current state of the spa at Phrase 3 Gym in Huntsville. For the past two and a half weeks, this amenity has been non-operational. This prolonged downtime is unacceptable, especially given that members continue to pay their full monthly fees. A consistent decline in service, particularly with essential facilities, negatively impacts the overall member experience and warrants immediate attention and resolution.
Remember to choose the option that best reflects your level of frustration and professionalism.

Showers in the men’s locker-room are routinely in poor state of maintenance and usually have no lock on them.
Recently, the pool has been extremely cold to the point where even experienced swimmers are complaining about the water temperature. Notice should be given if the heater is not working or some kind of communication to pool goers because it is very unpleasant.
I will update this review when the issues are addressed. Phaze 3 has been wonderful except for these issues, but the shower and pool situation are getting severe enough that I’m considering cancelling.

I enjoy the amenities and paid the extra fees this time for tanning. However, NO ONE has time to make an appointment to TAN. People that work out, especially that are on a work schedule, don’t have time to make an appointment or be told they have to wait 15 minutes. If there’s a bed available, which it was, no one should have to wait just because you only do appointments. You really need to change that policy so it’s more convenient for people that are on a busy work schedule not a luxury (l don’t work) schedule!

I would never join a gym as I am cheap and hate meat lockers and contracts. BUT, P3 is different. The place js clean. The staff is helpful. The clientele is representative of the community and not just a bunch of meatheads. The fine print of the contract is not overbearing nor unfair. For the low monthly price you get endless equipment, and space and free classes and free pool and free sauna and free body metrics and a free theater with cardio equipment and free showers, etc... If you go in the afternoon it can be a little crowded, but you can always find a spot still. I avoid the crowded times myself, but not everyone has that proviledge. Bottomline: workout at home or workout at P3, no other fitness center compares imho for the value.

This is one of only two gyms in Madison County that has a pool, the other being Huntsville Hospital Wellness Center. This gym has slightly better hours, but sadly, there is no 24-hour gym with a pool around here, so this is the best we've got. It's slightly more expensive than Huntsville Hospital Wellness Center, but it's much fancier and has both indoor and outdoor amenities.
Sadly, there is no steam room, unlike the one at Huntsville Hospital Wellness Center, but there is a dry sauna. They do have some cryotherapy and tanning, if you're interested in that, for an extra monthly charge. Towel service is also extra, but they accept FlexCards from insurance such as BlueCross, which brought down the cost to about $8 a month more than what I was paying at Huntsville Hospital Wellness Center.
This gym is quite clean. It's new, so there isn't really much wear and tear anywhere. The staff were all nice and polite.
If you absolutely need a gym that's 24-hours, this is not the place for you. Consider something like Planet Fitness, although Planet Fitness doesn't have a pool.

Grateful for This New Chapter!
Walking into a new gym can be overwhelming—especially one as large and fully equipped as this one. As a woman navigating perimenopause, I’m trying to be proactive about my health, but I’ll admit, I almost turned right back around. Between the sea of unfamiliar machines and the intimidating crowd of seriously fit gym-goers, I felt completely out of place.
Then I met Samra, and everything changed.
If it weren’t for her, I honestly don’t think I would have continued. She has been an incredible guide and motivator. She not only taught me how to use the equipment properly but also introduced me to new exercises tailored to my goals. She knows how to push just enough to get results without ever making it feel overwhelming.
Thanks to Samra, the gym is no longer a scary place—it’s become a space where I feel stronger, more energized, and even happier. I can feel the difference in my strength, mood, and energy levels. I only see her once a week (I wish it could be three!), but that one session is money VERY well spent.
And as a bonus—she has the most amazing accent! Highly, highly recommend working with Samra if you’re looking for a trainer who is super fit, supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely encouraging.

Outstanding customer service. Allison goes out of her way to ensure each customer/family member is taken care of and all questions answered. We had billing issues that were resolved within 10 minutes. How great to walk into a place with 100s of people and the staff knows your name.

Had been looking for a new gym which offered lots of amenities, as I had become very dissatisfied with a competing “purple” facility in Huntsville due to some really obnoxious gym goers there. Phaze3 has virtually everything you would want in a gym, the facility is cavernous, even including outdoor equipment for when the weather is nice, and that is awesome. The facility is spotless, which is also important, and there are cleaning stations everywhere, which most people seem to use. My only real gripe with the facility are the short hours of operation, particularly on weekends. I’ve seen other people mention this, and hope Phaze3 can expand their hours a little bit, because they’re very limited on Saturday and Sunday, which is a shame. An additional suggestion would be to have a small selection of middle range weights like what a number of big gym chains have. Instead of jumping 5 pounds between the 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 pound dumbbells, have some middle-range weights, i.e. 17.5, 22.5, 27.5, 32.5, etc. On some exercises, those additional options would be very beneficial to your members. Thanks for a very solid and sorely needed facility.

Let me start with, I and my girlfriend absolutely love this gym. Have been in love with since the first time coming and plan to continue to keep coming back. Staff is friendly, nice, atmosphere is cool, state of the art facility and all around amazing. Almost every machine imaginable, at least to multiple machine to target each muscle.
Now the only bad side for me, and it really is killing me. Is the hours. Foot traffic is lower on the weekends but closing at 6pm is killer. I could see locking the pool, maybe sauna, and stuff like that after certain hours, but imo I wound be great to see hours extended or profit going to staffing a handful of employees 24/7.

There is no way to cancel your account. Even if you move out of state you do not qualify to cancel your account and they expect you to keep paying for services you'll never use. After a month of emailing they have told me "it doesn't matter if you moved or will never use our services, you will have to pay every month." Not paying you because I have free will. Choke.

You cannot cancel your account here even if you move across the country. These people are complete scam artists. DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM. It's not worth the money or the hassle. Plenty of better places exist

I guess it’s my fault for not having a lawyer review my wife’s gym membership before she signed up, but we moved out of state and it’s been nearly impossible to cancel. Lots of back and forth on the phone, we think we get it canceled, and bam we’ve been charged 4 more times just this month. Two charged to our checking, finally called the bank to have them deny further charges so they charged the last two to a credit card they had on file. So just a PSA make sure whatever account you pay them with is easy for you to close.

Pretty and fru fru. Music too loud for me . Pool water is often cloudy. No private dressing area (there is a space in the shower, but no bench and floor is typically wet.) In my opinion, looks to have been built for those already in shape, not necessarily good/functional for those less in shape nor with disabilities.

"2nd month in and hit with a hidden fee that nearly doubles the amount for the month. Was told it was for cleaning. I don’t get fees for cleaning Walmart when I go shopping."
EDIT: I was harsh in my original 1 star review. The staff is great. Dutch is a nice guy. It's a nice gym that makes me enjoy being there. I do wish they would have just put the cleaning fee in with the monthly dues.

From the moment I walked into Phaze 3, I knew I was in for something special. This isn’t just a gym—it’s a fitness utopia where sweat meets soul, and gains come with a side of pure joy!
The staff? Absolute rockstars. You know when people are so good at their jobs that you start wondering if they have some kind of secret superpower? That’s the energy at Phaze 3. Encouraging, knowledgeable, and radiating positivity like they’re personally invested in your success.
And let’s talk about Allison Johnson—because WOW. If motivation had a human form, it would be her. Her expertise, energy, and unwavering enthusiasm make every workout feel like an epic adventure rather than a chore. She’s got that rare mix of precision and passion, pushing you just enough to unlock strength you didn’t even know you had.
Whether you’re a seasoned gym rat or a total newbie, Phaze 3 is THE PLACE to get stronger, feel unstoppable, and actually look forward to working out. Consider me officially obsessed. Can’t wait to be back! 💯🔥

I'm happy with all the amenities, I do suggest better hours on the. Weekends. It should be open early and close late.there is a lot of people that have more open schedules on the weekend that could and would take advantage of longer weekend hours. Thank you for opening one in Huntsville.

This gym is huge, with a wide variety of equipment to use. There are usually a lot of people but there is enough equipment that I've never had to wait around waiting for something to open up. Feels very welcoming as well. The outdoor workout spaces are great on a nice day.

The gym overall is very nice and has a cool atmosphere. However, I was quite disappointed with the pool area, which was the main reason I joined. The pool water was not clear, and it seemed like the bottom hadn’t been properly scrubbed—just treated with chemicals to pass tests while waiting for the dirt to filter out.
Another major issue is the hygiene and management of the aquatic areas in general. People enter the sauna wearing dirty sneakers, leaving marks all over the floor. Many also wear their regular clothes into the sauna and then get into the hot tub without changing, which is highly unsanitary.
I had high expectations, but these issues made my experience underwhelming. If cleanliness and proper pool area policies improve, this gym could be much better.

I love this gym! It is amazing and very clean! Staff is very friendly as well. My only complaint is the hours! I truly wish this place was open 24hours 😔 or at least extend the hours! (especially on the weekend!) Aside from that, this gym is great!

It’s pretty and new BUT they play the music SO loud even with you own music, podcasts etc on max volume their music will drown yours out.
Not as comfortable of a place to workout as Planet Fitness. Lots of stuff I’ll never get use and lots of people who look like they are here for something other than working out.

I started going to Phaze 3 a few years ago, and overall, it's been a solid experience. I like to describe it as a "budget friendly" version of Life Time Fitness. Here’s my breakdown of the pros and cons:
Pros:
✅ Equipment & Facilities: The gym has a wide variety of equipment, including free weights, machines, and cardio options. As a bonus - I love how much space there is.
✅ Atmosphere: It’s a good mix of serious lifters, casual gym-goers, and beginners. The environment feels motivating without being intimidating.
✅ Staff & Trainers: The staff is friendly and helpful. The trainers seem knowledgeable, and they offer personal training sessions for those who need guidance.
✅ Cleanliness: This is a big one for me. The gym is kept clean, and they have sanitation stations throughout the facility.
✅ Hours & Accessibility: If you're looking for flexibility, their hours are great.
✅ Membership Cost: You have access to a lot more than what you're paying in monthly fees
Cons:
❌ Crowds: During peak hours, it gets pretty packed, which means waiting for machines or free weights.
❌ Cap on Membership: This ties in with the crowds - from what I understand, there isn't a cap on membership, so dont be surprised if it gets overwhelmingly crowded.
❌ Gym Equipment Replacement Time: The equipment at this gym sees a lot of use, and unfortunately, some members are rough on it or don’t take care to use it properly. Over time, machines, seats, grips, and cables experience wear and tear, eventually leading to breakdowns. In my experience, repairs and maintenance can take a while. If the gym only has a limited number of certain machines—like three assault runners or four leg machines—and two are out of order, you may need to adjust your workout plan or visit during off-peak hours to ensure access to the equipment you need.
Overall, Phaze 3 is a great gym for anyone serious about their fitness journey. The equipment selection and cleanliness make it worth the membership. If you can avoid peak hours, you’ll have a much better experience. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality gym.
