I'm a Black Card member & so have consistently visited PF's along the central Gulf Coast from Ocean Springs to Pensacola. Daphne PF is superior to most of its counterparts in Mobile. Good selection of equipment, a little more than what's seen at other locations.

Okay, I work late so I don't get to go to this particular gym until late at night. The guy with the blonde hair and mustache who always works the overnight shift is awful! Half the time he's not even doing his job. He works out during his shift and hangs out with his buddies despite the locker and restrooms being disgusting. I have also tried asking him questions to get information about gym equipment, and etc. He spends half of those times ignoring me or giving me an attitude because I interrupted his quiet time of watching movies on his phone with his earbuds in. I've also caught him ignoring other gym goers by talking to his friends that come up there and he always looks visibly annoyed. If the upper management approves of this behavior, then y'all should definitely be ashamed of yourselves!

This is the PF that is closest to me, I frequent it about twice a week. Typically the restrooms are clean, and everybody does a nice job wiping down the equipment when they are finished.

Also I like to go really early and there is always a group if about 7 that use the back area as a cross fit gym. They take up to much room and its super obnoxious. We are traveling by RV through Daphne Alabama, due to the heavy storms we had to pull off the highway. We are black card Planet Fitness members so decided to workout while we waited. The storm continued to get worse, we got warnings to stay put due to life threatening conditions so we stayed put in the parking lot not knowing the area, unable to get to our destination for the night and worried about the flood warnings. We made an assumption that the owner would be understanding of the circumstance. What we found was that the owner parked us in, in the morning making it really difficult to get out. We are very disappointed out of towners.

Best PF stop on our 24 state trip! It's the little things that make a difference. We arrived during a busy morning and we're greeted with a smile, and our questions were quickly answered. The workout was great. The locker rooms and showers were above and beyond. Little thing, the shower mat from the shower to the dressing room had a full length mat. It was not necessary to do a chicken walk between the two and hope not to fall. Much appreciated! If I could rate a 6, I would!

So I canceled my subscription to the gym three months ago and am still being charged for a membership. I have called the gym and gone to the gym that I was a member of to try and have the issue resolved. They simply threw their hands up in the air and said that there was nothing they could do. To resolve the issue, I had to get a new card issued to me.

So now I have to get a new card and they still refused to refund my card.

Moral of the story, unhelpful staff and a system that continues to charge you for a service that you canceled. Buyer beware.

DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY!!! Long hair everywhere! I have a membership here and at the YMCA and this is supposed to be a “judgement free zone” and ive never felt more judged. I can go to the ymca with people who you would assume would be the ones to judge and they dont. This PF is too small, you have to wait for equipment constantly. I’ve been a black card member of PF since early 2020 and the worsttttt part is that they close early even earlier now on fridays and weekends, the only days i have legit time to dedicate to the gym. The worst parking lot I’ve seen for a business that is still operating!!

The gym is so small for the area. Always waiting on equipment, whether it’s early morning, midday morning, midday, evening. It’s always packed and difficult to actually workout.Everything is cramped together due to poor floor layout. Plus apparently there are a high amount of judgmental people who think very highly of themselves and treat you like a peasant.

Absolutely love this location. The manager Kortni Paige is always so very sweet and helpful every time I come in to work out or tan. I always look forward going in and seeing her and chatting. She always brightens my day before I leave.
This location is always clean and all the employees as well are always so nice and accommodating to any needs you have have while there. I highly recommend this location and of course Kortni (super sweet)

This was my first time at the Daphne Planet Fitness location, and the staff was friendly, the gym was clean, and most of the equipment was updated and working well. I’m a big stickler for updated stair masters, and this gym is a big letdown in that department. They have five machines, but none of them are the newer units, and none of them have fans built in, which, for someone who does 30-90 minutes straight on these, is crucial to hitting those time goals. The stair masters also all have small plastic steps, which, for a size 13 shoe, are annoyingly small. The water bottle refill station was out of order, too, but the staff let me take a water bottle for free to fill up my bottle a bit, so kudos to them there.

Overall well maintained and clean with a large assortment of equipment. Rowing machines have been non-functional for at least a month which is less than ideal with only having 2 machines, but other than that it's well taken care of.

Update (since I was responded to): Spoke to 4 different employees over the past month who always had me speak to one individual who said that the parts have been ordered and they don't have an ETA, which has been a month. I didn't think it was a big deal, but since I can't respond directly and you're assuming I'm just complaining without actually trying to do anything about it, I'm providing an update here. Once again, overall nice gym, but this was an issue I found.

I enjoy my workouts there most of the time. I kinda wish Manager would teach a little gym etiquette. Simple stuff like not working out in front of the dumbbells. When using the cables do not infringe on someone else's space. When using the machines you might have to let someone jump in for a set while you rest. Benches are for working out not to lay your towel on or put your cell phone on.

This PF has a great vibe with nice lighting and fixtures. Thoughtful layout and great use of space. All machines work as they should. Paper towels plentiful. Polite staff. I wish more of the patrons would clean the equipment after themselves. It’s terribly disappointing (and gross). I wish there was some way to better emphasize this to new and also existing members. That kind of behavior is what spreads bacterial infections and disease. I always thoroughly clean the equipment after I’m done. But every once in a while, I forget that many people don’t clean up after themselves and that I need to wipe it down beforehand as well. It adds unnecessary time to my routine. It would also be great if the gym was a little bigger.
Other than that, it’s a pretty good gym. The staff is always polite, and they do a great job with maintaining the place.

It’s a nice clean gym with pretty much anything you would want, but I think they need to reconsider how they have their equipment located throughout the gym. During peak hours, some areas are very cramped (near the dumbbells) and others have way more room than needed (especially in the back room). If they made some adjustments, I think the entire place would be far more functional and an even better spot to get a workout in.
