Why does this gym claim to be open 24 hours when it's not. Otherwise, I'd giveit a 5 star, its a great place to workout. Just super confused by the alleged times because it closes at 9. At least confirm the correct hours.

Night staff during the week are amazing and super understanding. I typically love this gym and come nearly everyday.

BUT Don’t come in the morning or on weekends because the staff rather you break your body in silence than rerack weights loudly on accident, or to save you from getting an injury. shouldn’t be called the no judgement zone if the “lunk alarm” is still a thing. Tear that alarm down from the wall if you actually support no judgement. It’s so hypocritical. also, it’s more distracting than someone dropping weights. “hey someone just dropped a weight loudly. let’s counter that by BLASTING A SIREN!!!!”

Im a truck driver so i travel alot and uses planet fitness wherever I go. The hours of Service is not correct. It says it's 24 hrs but I'm here right now on a Wednesday at 2am and they are closed. I hate false hours of service bc I like to workout late. The showers in the women's room had detachable shower heads for 3/4 rooms which I love and the shower water had a good water pressure and was hot! They only have one change room unfortunately as well. The place was clean. Overall I'll be back but please update your hours of service u don't wanna waste people's time and gas for coming out to a closed store

So I was leaving the country for the summer, and needed to end my membership, an action that's not always met with enthusiasm. The process was fast, easy, and handled with the same professional courtesy as every other interaction I'd had with the staff. There was a small error that I overlooked, which needed correcting. When I returned, Aaliyah exhibited a level of cheerful professional quality that I didn't expect from someone who had to correct someone else's error, end a membership, and process a refund, for which she gave me a very reasonable time frame. Not only was it paid in full with no surprise expenses, but in my account sooner than expected. Congratulations Planet Fitness for maintaining such a clean and complete facility and having Aaliyah along with the rest of the wonderful staff at your fitness center!

It's never completely packed. Everyone gets you when you arrive and asks, "How was your workout?", when you leave. It makes you feel like they care and are behind your fitness goals 100%! Ali, the Assistant Manager at the Dauphin location, is really friendly. Her genuine personality and empathy makes you want to come back. She really cares.

Earlier tonight on July 8th, 2024 my children ages 17,17,& 15 all came in to work out as they had been doing this summer at Planet Fitness on Dauphin St in Mobile. My husband accompanied them just as I have done several times before. Upon arriving they were immediately greeted by an employee with a TERRIBLE attitude. He told my daughter she couldn’t bring a guest. She told him that she had no idea since she had brought a guest before and nothing was said and she also tried to show him online where it said she could bring a guest. He immediately got really ugly and told her “I’m not gone argue with you!” “I don’t know who told you that!” And rolled his eyes.So, my kids walked off & went on to work out. Meanwhile, this rude employer along with another employee stood there whispering & watching. The other employee (a female) then stomps over to my daughter on the treadmill & asks her “do you have shoes in the car?? Because you have to leave if you don’t have shoes!” My daughter was wearing a pair of slides. My daughter said “ok” and got off the treadmill when the lady then turned to my other daughter who was actually wearing regular athletic shoes and said “You got shoes in the car?!!” And my other daughter informs her that she’s wearing shoes. The lady then gets an attitude & says “Do you think I’m blind?! I can see she’s wearing shoes!” At this point my kids are just ready to go so they go to walk out and this lady follows behind them running her mouth saying ugly things to them & when my daughter had finally had enough she turned around and told the lady that she shouldn’t be so rude and then the male employee comes running up yelling “Hers got to go. Hers is disrespectful!” “Y’all can stay but hers got to go!” And YES that’s exactly how he said it 🤦🏻‍♀️ Both employees were downright rude & disrespectful from the time my family walked in! My family is white except for our other 17 year old who is black and both of these employees were black. They seemed to have a problem from the time my family walked in! This is unacceptable! If my daughter couldn’t bring a guest then fine! You can politely tell her the rules! Being downright rude & nasty was uncalled for! I’m gonna say this- you better be glad I wasn’t there when you disrespected my kids! Y’all need to hire people with some sense because those two sure didn’t have any!

The service is decreasing due to poor management problem resolution. I have come twice now for a massage bed it did not start… which means I had to get up and informed the desk to come back and start the machine. It is not ladies fault but management not addressing the problem.

I travel around the southeast region teaching women how to overcome battles with fitness. I grabbed a quick workout today here and the gym was so clean and staff was so inviting. I love the makeup stations in the restroom . The showers was extremely clean compared to some of the clubs I visit. Gym smelled great! Thanks staff great job!
