Honestly, first time at this location. Staff were friendly and helpful. A considerable number of cardio machines and a good amount of stationery and free weights. Very clean (I noticed two of the staff making rounds cleaning equipment while I was working out).

I will be updating as I continue to work out at this location.

It's an okay gym but the customer service I have received over the last two days has been abysmal. I have had the same $99 for 12 months membership for the entirety of my time there (since at least 2015 - I have the contracts to prove it) with no issues up until yesterday. I've been told in the past that I am grandfathered into the program as long as I renew it yearly, which I have been. They even told me I have a couple months past the expiration date to come in and renew it. They even honored it after the pandemic shutdown and allowed me to renew it for this price. I came into the branch on Eastdale yesterday to renew the membership because it was set to expire yesterday. I have only had this type of membership at this branch with PF and the desk employees did not know how to renew it. One employee had seen this type of membership before but did not know how to go into the system to renew it. I had no problems with that because they were very nice and patient despite the situation. We attempted to figure the situation out by calling other branches and reaching out to managers, but it was just a big waste of time. We spent over an hour yesterday and I spent over an hour today to be given the run around and terrible answers to each question from everyone we reached out to. The manager today, Zach, told me to come in so we could resolve it. I get there only for him to tell me they do not offer that membership anymore, which is something I know. I'm not asking the branch to resurrect anything, I am simply asking to honor what I've been given up until this point. It was frustrating to hear his answers to my questions. He could not explain how I have received this membership for the past 10 years and said it was simply a mistake. He kept simply saying we do not offer that anymore even though he has only been working there since August. When things change (especially pricing), you get things in writing. I have received nothing telling me I would not be able to renew this plan that I've had for 10 years. I asked him for numbers to people above him to speak to about the situation but the information he gave me was just to get me to leave. The phone number he gave me told me they do not even handle stuff like that. I called and text messaged a Regional Manager who I doubt will get back to me given the situation. I just feel like no one that I have encountered in this entire process (other than the first two workers) cared about actually getting me legitimate answers to this situation because their answer of "we don't offer that" does not explain this situation of how I've received this membership for 10 years and other members still have it. Then to be given the option to pay $279 for a yearly membership just adds insult to injury when that's more than the monthly plan. Why would anyone do that? Needless to say, with how this was handled, I doubt I will get a membership there.

Update - It's been about 2 weeks and I have heard nothing from the Regional Manager. I am not surprised. It seemed based on the answers that everyone gave that I spoke to that there is a serious lack of information and training amongst all of the branches under his management. Overall, this was a terrible experience and all of the employees just seem lazy and incompetent with the exception of the first two I encountered.

Worst customer service ever seen. They charge customers with some unknown reasons and say late fee. They say I have been charged late penalty for two months but I have a question when my payment declines how the late fees gets approved. Staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the membership process. This is my second time becoming a member and things were a little different this time around but was a piece of diet cake with the help of the staff. Always clean and welcoming and never overcrowded or having to wait to successfully complete the workout agenda for the day. Highly recommend.

I just moved to Montgomery and have only been going to this Planet Fitness location for about a week, but I have to say what a nice change it is from the Planet Fitness I went to in Utah when I lived there...Zaria Belvin, Allen Williams, and Layton Johnson are so friendly and helpful. All the staff I've had contact with are but I just don't know everybody's names yet. The staff is always cleaning the facility and it looks and feels clean. The facility I went to in Utah lacked in the clean department most of the time...
There is always someone at the front desk to answer questions or turn on the hydro-massage for me at this location. At my last location, sometimes I couldn't find an employee to turn on the hydro-massage!
I really appreciate how this location is run!

First time at this location. Shower curtains are ripped laying on the floor, lighting is horrible, a weird smell lingers throughout the gym, locker room smelled of stale urine. I walked in & walked out. I would suggest another location.

Coming from out of town. Stop by lift weights. Take a shower. That was the worst. The men's locker room smells bad All showers filled with mold just the worst planet fitness I ever been in. Never again even if I have to drive 10 miles needs a whole sanitation cleaning!!!

The staff was very friendly; there was new equipment installed as well as a lot more options whereas the equipment and area before looked very old, drab, and dirty. This time, I actually enjoyed the experience and highly considered returning. Things are looking better for sure, and hopefully, at some point, it expands to make it bigger (similar to the one on Vaughn Road, but for now, it was good to see that it's improving.

Was visiting most of the machines are old or have stuff wrong with them small gym and the regular patrons are allowed to talk on their phones if they are using headphones I was told that by manager so I had to experience loud conversations using profanity and other conversations on the gym floor which is a major distraction when I'm working out I come to the gym for peace and a pleasant environment to concentrate on my workouts not being irritated problem is most of the people who work there stand behind the counter and are afraid to ask people to take conversations to the locker room or lobby when I find another gym planet fitness can kick rocks

I go to several planet fitness gyms across the US and this is by far the worst. It has a funny smell, very quiet (which is okay, but raise the music a bit). I did love the fact that it was empty on a Sunday, but maybe there's a reason for that. No one greets you when you walk in, no on refilled the paper towels at the clean up stations, weights were left on several machines, now I know why no one else was wiping down there machines. I was there for a good while and didn't see a worker the whole time. The free weights were missing and out of order.
I went back one other time and someone was actually there to say hello and goodbye, that was pleasant.
Overall, it's an okay place.... It's a gym.

Just passing through.....parking lot is truck driver friendly....but there is not lighting in the entire parking lot.....definitely not safe to walk out in the dark ....during late nights or early mornings......restroom not as clean as it should be...massage room/ massage chair area extremely cold 🥶🥶 wear sweats and hoodie...Hoodia.... and Rokbot audio sound was terrible.....sounds muted or distorted..

I used to love working out here but now I hate it. There is a large water leak in front of the bathrooms. It has been leaking a little over a week now. It has also been a month since their TVs have worked. Now only a couple of the TVs work. Some of the workers also lack in refilling the paper towel holders to be able to clean the equipment after you use it. This location is awful and needs some kind of management.

The female associates at this gym have a staring problem at guests who come in and it can create a very uncomfortable atmosphere. The female associates are also very phony and nasty. As previous comments have stated the place isn’t very clean and always has items broken now including the TVs. Perhaps they need to focus on getting this place in a better condition than playing on their phones or simply having conversations with random people at the front desk.

This is the dirtiest gym. It has gone down hill fast it definitely isn't cleaned like it use to be before new management and owners took over. There is trash on the floors for days, paper towels empty in am. No one at the desk in the morning.
