I absolutely love this studio! As a dance teacher and a runner, I was looking for a place where I could strength train safely and this studio is IT! I love the vibes…it’s gorgeous inside! And the teachers are fab!

I absolutely love Provision Studio! Whether it's your first class or your regular session, the instructors will always have an attentive eye on your form and safety. I felt welcomed from the moment I first stepped foot in the studio, everyone is just incredibly kind! Like everyone says, each class is unique even if you take the same instructors all the time. I've felt better about my health ever since I've started taking classes at Provision and I recommend it to all!

With the new Birmingham downtown location, getting into a class at my desired time is no problem. With the variety of Pilates classes offered, I always feel challenged and motivated to attend classes. The studio and instructors are extremely knowledgeable and friendly!

I am confident that each time I go to a class at Provision it is with an instructor who is well-informed, well-trained, and sees me as a whole person. They not only instruct moves but share their knowledge while they instruct which helps you to know the WHY behind your movement. I have learned how to move intentionally/functionally while gaining confidence, strength, balance, stamina, and a holistic view of "healthy". I would (and do) recommend them to everyone!! They are friendly and have made me feel at home, which was very important to me as a new resident of Birmingham.

I’ve been going to Provision for a couple months now and I can’t recommend it enough! I had never tried Reformer Pilates before and I’m so glad I finally took the plunge and that I did it at Provision! Every instructor I’ve had is friendly and knowledgeable. No two classes are the same so I never feel bored or like I’m doing the same thing over and over again. I’m learning so much about my body and I never dread going to class. I’m always excited when it’s Pilates day! So much of that is because of the welcoming and empowering environment Margaret and the team have cultivated at Provision. Also, the new Downtown location is gorgeous, so convenient, and parking is amazing!

Provision is such a great place. The instructors are knowledgeable, motivating, and caring. I've been going for about 9 months and am definitely stronger, more toned, and more energetic than before I started. I also love that they have a bookshelf in the front for patrons to take and leave books. So cute!

Provision is the perfect studio. The reformer is my favorite and also love the bounce and weights classes. The atmosphere in the studio is warm and welcoming and I’ve really seen and felt a difference in my body since starting to workout here. Highly recommend!

I finally found a gym where it doesn't matter which class you go to because every instructor is so knowledgeable that you get a great workout no matter what. It is a welcoming atmosphere and they make you feel a part of the group immediately. Each staff member loves what they do so each class is fun and challenging. Beautiful facility and very clean! So thankful for provision studio. After having a surgery that left me weak and over all in bad form, provisions has become my go to for my healing journey. Provision has truly changed my life ! From years of injuries and pain from high impact exercise, a PT recommended I try Pilates. I knew nothing about it and was skeptical thinking I couldn’t get the same results but boy was I wrong! I am hooked! I started attending Provision in January 2024 after months of physical therapy. It has absolutely been the best thing I’ve ever done for my fitness and wellness - from strength to balance and flexibility. There are modifications for every fitness level and the instructors are welcoming and helpful, even if you’re brand new to Pilates - like me! There is a big variety of classes and the lovely environment creates a warm experience that I look forward to. I first started going to Provision Studio last July and it has been life changing! I used to have horrible back pain and that has gone away since I started. The environment is so welcoming, the instructors are amazing while explaining each exercise and adjusting my position if necessary. After a few months in the Foundations Reformer class, the transition to the Reformer class was much easier. There are so many classes to choose from, so I have no excuse to not utilize my monthly commitment.

I have been coming to Provision for almost 6 years and have never taken the same class twice. It’s impossible to burn out on this place with the variety of instructors and classes offered. The studio is absolutely gorgeous and every single instructor (and class participant!) has been welcoming and supportive. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Provision Studio has a spacious facility that is so well-equipped with specialty state-of-the-art equipment for pilates and general fitness. Kristy Mckinney has knowledge and support far beyond anyone I have ever trained with. Her knowledge of posture, Pilates, the body, the relation of fascia to my back is eye-popping. I am fired up about the track she has me on. All the staff I have been in contact with are so helpful. I recommend Provision strongly and without any caveats. They are special!

I’ve been going to Provision about 6 months now and I LOVE it! Previously I was a yoga girl. Then, I had an injury and ended up in physical therapy and my PT told me pilates on a reformer is what I needed to prevent further injury. I was hesitant but signed up. Now I have truly fallen in love. I enjoy going to the classes, I love how in shape I feel, I’m no longer hurting from my old injuries because I’m strengthening the right muscles to prevent injury! It’s great for my body and I feel like I learn a lot each time I’m there. The energy is contagious and the instructors are great. I originally chose this gym because of the variation in class times. My work schedule is erratic so I cannot attend the same class each week. Their class sign up system makes it easy for me to sign up for classes as my schedule allows. And there’s many classes to choose from. At first I was wary of the commitment to 6 months (just one of their many plans) but I’ve found that it’s that commitment that keeps me healthy and working out. Knowing that I have classes to use each week keeps me accountable and I needed that commitment to make myself go regularly. And I’m so glad I have!!! My 6 months is up soon and I’m about to sign on for a year.

Great studio, with highly knowledgeable instructors who emphasize alignment and functional movement. I came to Provision as a safe way to keep active while recovering from an injury, and glad I did! The wide breadth of classes improves all aspects of fitness, including stability, recovery, strength, and mobility. I also find myself changing how I perform everyday tasks (like walking down stairs) in ways that are more functional and prevent injury in the long run. No matter your shape or size there's something to learn from Margaret, Kristy, Emma, and the rest of the amazing team, who do a great job of keeping things fun and positive. I had never attended a pilates class before (much less reformer), but was looking for a safe, low impact activity to try after recoverying from an injury. I love the reformer classes. The studio is beautiful, the equipment is top notch and the staff is knowledgeable and welcoming, not intimidating at all. I have been attending classes for 1 year and look forward to my studio time weekly! There are so many classes to choose from-reformer just happens to be my favorite! As one of my favorites would say- "prehab before you rehab!"

Provision is my favorite place to work out! I have tried a few places around Homewood and Mountain Brook from cross fit to barre but the people, the equipment, the classes and the options at Provision Studio make it The Best for me! I am just not a runner, not a hard core tire pulling fitness fanatic. I like to be gentler on my body, feel good during and after my work out, and stretch and flex throughout, so Provision is literally the perfect fit.
