PUSH has truly changed my college experience, as that 50 minutes a day has become my favorite part of my routine. It has given me so much confidence and a healthy, uplifting space to focus on myself with other women who are reaching for the same goals. It has become my greatest coping mechanism and is an investment to myself. Highly recommend for anyone in the area!

I have been a member of Push since Sep. 2024. This place is absolutely dominating the Pilates competition around Tuscaloosa and the surrounding areas of this thriving college town. This place is very upbeat and high energy. The place is always clean (we LOVE that). Anyone is welcome to take the class, but I recommend teens and young adults come here. Older people may not enjoy loud music and sometimes fast-paced classes. Having taken classes with multiple instructors, including the owner, Anna, I can confidently say this place truly cares for every individual walking in. Every time I have a class, I am constantly greeted with a positive attitude when checking in. I am so genuinely grateful that Anna and Georgia do an exquisite job in hiring deserving, credited, passionate, dignified, and experienced (I mean, I can keep going lol) instructors and interns. There's not a class that I come out of where I am not sore the next day!

1. Very insightful and positive; if you want more intensive and technical workouts, I suggest you see Georgia Stockton.
2. If you're looking for a fast-paced, more advanced workout, I recommend seeing Alena Robinson.
3. Kaley French is a very comforting instructor; her workouts seem to be a little more simplistic and more core-oriented workouts. Kaley is such a sweet human; I ABSOLUTELY ADORE Kaley.
4. If you want a moderate-intense and a 'chill' vibe class, Thalia Soule is your girl! Thalia is sweet and will put you through a great workout every class.
All instructors are very affirmative; I don't think I will cancel my membership completely until I reside somewhere else. I feel a sense of accomplishment supporting this small business; I know my money is being used for higher education and upkeeping my work environment. I also will 100% pay more for a high-energy experience and atmosphere with passionate, positive, and educated instructors.
The atmosphere and design of Push really elevate the entire experience. From the various LEDs, loud music, and dark walls throughout the facility, Push is really putting a modern and urban twist on the Pilates industry. Attracting college girls, this place is advocating for health and fitness in more ways than the pilates industry knows. I am testifying that I am extremely grateful for this because the local restaurants and nutrition here are overall bad.

This facility is new and is quite strict on their policies. You cannot come late, or else you lose your class pass and $15. Canceling within' 24 hours is okay, just not before 8 hours (so keep that in mind when scheduling). So, do not waste your time and money! If you intend to have a membership, do NOT wait until the last minute to book. Hold yourself accountable and be considerate of the instructor's time and knowledge. This place is high in demand and books up fast. I suggest booking at least a week in advance and getting an autopay package (don't worry; you can cancel anytime and then pick it back up for the next month. There's no binding contract like Planet Fitness or Crunch lol)

I really wanted to love Push Pilates. I was so excited to have a reformer studio in town with lots of class times to work with my schedule. The place was nice, had a fun atmosphere, and Georgia, the instructor was very sweet. If you are in great shape, familiar with the reformer, and enjoy the loud music vibe, you'll love this place.

Unfortunately, it was just not for me. I started taking reformer classes 10 years ago, so I'm super familiar with it. Which is a good thing, because I could barely hear or understand a word the instructor was saying because the music was so loud and chaotic. I told her I couldn't hear her, but I think she thought it was that her voice was hoarse from teaching a lot and didn't turn the music down. This could just be my age as I was twice as old as everyone else in the room.

Also, there were several people who were new to reformer and the introduction they were given was extremely brief and I'm not sure everyone could hear her as she was giving the intro with the music still pumped up loud. I feel like this isn't safe and there should be proper introduction to reformer classes required for those unfamiliar with it; not to mention the safety concerns of not being able to hear instructions during class for those who may need modification.

This was also listed as an All Levels class and their website indicates that every class is beginner-friendly, but this was absolutely not for beginners or anyone who is not already in decent shape. I also felt like several of the moves were not for beginners on the reformer and the fast pace is not necessarily for beginners, again, unless they're in good shape. The instructor may have given modifications, but I don't know since I couldn't hear or understand the instructor over the music. I was able to direct my own modifications since I am familiar with the reformer. If you are unfamiliar with reformer and not already pretty fit, I would not recommend this class and I do have some concerns about the safety of those who go in unprepared.

To be fair, their website does indicate that the workouts are intense. But the intensity and difficulty of the class was definitely not All Levels as advertised.

Overall, I think Push Pilates is a great option for those who are already fit and/or familiar with the reformer and who don't mind the loud music drowning out the instructor. For safety reasons, I think they should consider an introduction to reformer class for new students.

I really wanted to love it. I even bought the five pack, though now I wish I would have only bought an intro class because I don't think I'll be able to use those four remaining passes. Full disclosure, I ended up leaving halfway through the class because I just couldn't understand the instructor and I felt lost.
