Best boxing gym in Birmingham bar none. You won't find a more skilled and knowledgeable team of trainers anywhere near. Dave is an awesome coach and generally a good person. If you really want to learn about boxing and train with passionate people, Round 1 is the place to do it.

My son is learning so much and thoroughly loves the workouts. I’ve been impressed with the friendliness of the staff and they are always willing to ensure your experience is good. Lots of age ranges in participants which has been a positive thing for my son.

This place is awesome! used to live in the area, spent a couple nights a week here for nearly 2 years. Dave's knowledge and training expertise are second to none- this coming from someone that has been to a few different gyms. Atmosphere is great and other members are friendly. I would recommend anyone that is even remotely interested in boxing for sport or fitness to check this place out!

I started in June and have been 2-3 times a week since. If you follow the routine you will learn great fundamentals and drastically improve your strength and confidence. Most importantly the best part of the gym is the staff and the atmosphere. Its a safe yet competitive environment.
EDIT: Regarding the first review. Coach is great and genuinely cares for each of his boxers.As for the cost. You have to pay to play and its up to you to take advantage of it.

This place has changed my life. I have nueropathy I was very clumsy when I first started! I could not even stand up! Coach Dave is great! Everyone there is like family! This man has changed my life! Whether you want to work out or go out for the boxing team . Round 1 boxing has something for everyone! He really cares and wants to help!
