Was a great place at first then started charging an extra 28 for months I tried reaching out ( I had just had a baby) then started trying to charge an extra 36 and I'm completely over it. Wouldn't offer any return, only thing they did to help was close my account.

As Im approaching my 2nd year anniversary at this gym, I have to say for me, this gym is the total package.
The staff couldn't be any better, especially Anna who obviously takes pride in her job, always quick to help, and does so with a friendly demeanor. For me, that makes all the difference.
Besides being very affordable, and having pretty much any and all workout equipment, This gym is very clean, and having access 24/7 is a great benefit that allows for flexibility.

If you're looking for a gym that cares about its equipment and customers, keep looking, because this place isn't it. The managers have reached out to the owners repetitively requesting to make changes and improvements around the gym, yet they get nowhere with them - because all they care about is money. The staff is only there from 9-7 during the week, meanwhile all other Workout Anytime gyms are open with staff until at least 8 or 9 p.m. Equipment is always down, there are holes all in the walls, the scanner at the door hardly ever works to enter in, it is by far the trashiest gym in the area. The owners will not pay to fix anything - which is why the gym was shut down for days/weeks due to the plumbing. The manager was pleasant and would assist where he could - until he left and now there is no manager at all. The most unprofessional place around Sylacauga period.

I can't say it enough. This gym is perfect for beginners and novice gym goers. The equipment is top notch allowing for effective workouts no matter which muscle group you are targeting that day. The.staff is friendly and approachable making it a delight to ask for anything one may need reference to. At this time the men's and women's restrooms are under reconstruction so I am looking forward to there completion. The membership prices do not change and the option to use tanning beds or hydromassage beds makes this worth every penny spent. Thankyou WOAT.

If I could give 0 stars I would. After I shut my gyn down, I recommended to all my members to sign up here. I signed up myself and rarely even went. So I technically donated every month for around 5 years. After my card got compromised, I never updated it in their system. So instead of canceling my membership like any other gym would, they kept trying to charge me and turned over $170 to collections against my credit!!
Absolute TRASH business and TRASH manager. Place went to TRASH after Mandy(the prior manager) left. Highly recommend going elsewhere..

My sister and I have been members at the Sylacauga gym for a couple months now. Every day, we are greeted with a smile and greeting from Lucinda, the assistant manager. She is always so helpful and kind and willing to help. Yesterday, one of us had a small medical episode and when asked for help, she jumped right on it. No questions asked!

On the same note, we are extremely pleased with our initial Coach Ryan. He is very knowledgeable in all things fitness and greets us everyday with a smile and encouragement! That’s just what we need. Thanks again to Ryan!

Love this gym, and it's all because of the staff that work really hard to make going to the gym an easy task. The gym is always clean and ready for use. Lucinda, a staff member, works very hard to keep the gym clean. You can't miss the girl, she's the one smiling at you when you walk in the door. She has a great personality, very professional, and she gets to know the gym members. She is extremely helpful and makes huge effort to make sure you are comfortable and things are to your liking.
Ryan is an excellent trainer, he is very professional and is very helpful in trying to help you reach your goals. He is very patient with you and he wants to see you succeed.
Honestly, these 2 staff members is what keeps me going to this gym. You can go to a gym anywhere, but it's the staff that makes you feel welcome and they make you feel like family.

I literally had a glitch because of a bad signal. I was trying to sign up the signal dropped and I made another “attempt” so now I have two payments coming out.

ALSO, I haven’t used EITHER MEMBERSHIP because it’s not convenient for me in my home and work. I have paid enough in fees to cover the cost of closing those accounts.

I had NO indication that the first account was open before opening the second.

I don’t use the gym and I’m in not in a position financially to support this situation. I paid and I DONT GO… I just need these accounts closed.

I’m going to leave reviews at all of them until my situation is rectified

It is, by far, the best gym in sylacauga. Every other gym in town thinks they have to charge way too much in order to stay in business. This place proves you don't. They have all the equipment you need and plenty of it for busy times. The staff is courteous, responsive, and seems to genuinely be interested in the physical well being of the members. They just have a good formula for success. Ignore the negative reviews on here. No business is perfect. This one is is too good to lose. Sylacauga needs more places like this.

Owners charged my card yesterday even though it is not the card they had on file as that one was replaced and my son had not entered the building in over 6 months. When I called today to ask about it they not only would not let me or my son cancel the account over the phone they also won't refund the money. He will be there today to CANCEL since as I told them he would no longer be here and they could check their records and see he has not stepped foot in there place of business. That is not how you operate properly if you want good customers and a good business reputation. EXTREMELY disappointed and will be sharing my experience with everyone I know. Shame!

The gym itself was clean and very spacious. Great, easy to operate treadmills and bikes. My only complaint is I asked the staff to show me how to operate a few machines and give me a tour but was told they would do that when I became a paying customer. I had a 14 day pass trying to see if it was somewhere I would feel comfortable. I didn't get what I expected and haven't been back since. It shouldn't matter if I had a pass or had paid for services; if I needed assistance it should have been offered to me. I hope they don't do all visitors that way
