AK | Fitness is a 24 hour Member Access Gym with 2 full and 1 half bathrooms, full body cable circuit, treadmills, ellipticals, cycle bikes, recumbent bikes, dumbbells 5-100 x2, and 3 half racks, Membership sign up is done online through our website, which allows for instant access to the facility 24/7 through our member app. come in between 9am and 6pm for a tour, just ring the bell when you arrive.

Everything I wanted: an exercise bike, a treadmill, and mats and floor space to do floor exercises and stretching. It had just about every machine, squat rack or weight you could want. A kind person (customer) coached me how to use the app at front door to get in.

Love the gym and the atmosphere but despise the music some mornings. I like to listen to white noise when I exercise to stay hyper focused and the mainstream dance pop music I hear way too often bleeds into my headphones.
It won’t stop me from going but I loath it every day.

AK Fitness is awesome! It's one of the best gyms in Homer due to the convenient 24 hr access through their mobile app. That's what was the ultimate deciding factor when researching other gyms. I love that you can go whenever you want, no matter the time which is very unique since not many other places offer this. But I think that's what makes it so popular and have people work out on a consistent weekly basis. Sometimes this place be poppin' at peak times and you might be waiting for a workout machine or squat rack. Which is totally chill and everyone there is so friendly that you meet new people while asking if this machine is in use by someone else. They have dumbbells, cable machines, treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, squat racks, pull up bars, yoga mats, water bottle refill station/drinking fountain, three bathrooms, two showers and several other workout machines. Such an excellent variety of exercise machines and equipment in such a cozy lil space. AK Fitness has fantastic customer service and genuinely cares about their facility which truly shows in their fast responses. 5/5 stars on everything!!

We were in Homer for a few days in our camper van and are so happy we found this gym! It is 24/7 and you access the door via an app. You can buy day passes or week passes which is wonderful for travelers. They have tons of machines and free weights as well as 3 bathrooms, two with showers. They are also in the process of expanding which will make it even more amazing. Would highly recommend this gym for travelers and locals alike!
