Amazing place to workout and learn how to properly exercise. It’s been my go to place and I love feeling more energy and strength in my body. I did Capital Fitness for three months, and I just want to say it was such a great experience! The team, especially my trainer Casey, was incredible at pushing me to my limits in the best way possible. I learned so much about different workouts and how to structure my own routines. Even though the sessions are just 60 minutes, they make every second count. You leave each one surprised at how much stronger you’re getting. Finding Jay at Capital Fitness has been a true blessing. He has extensive experience in training and coaching and knows how to push each individual to their points where they start growing. One month in and already my strength has increased and my sporting has gotten better. I'm more explosive in games but it carries over into everything. My posture has improved. If I can hit that in one month, I can't even imagine what 3 or 6 months will bring. Jay has a niche business here that offers one on one training. No wait time for equipment and no crowded gyms. At the most, there will be one more trainer and another client working out in a large gym so at the most 4 people are in the room. All the equipment you need is there. The workouts leave you feeling the need to eat because you really worked out and spent all your glucose. It's totally worth it if you want to be healthier and have improved full mobility range of motion, and of course naturally you will look better as a byproduct. The massage service at Capital is awesome as well and the therapist Kim is highly recommended.

I’ve only been a member of this fitness club for three weeks, but it has already made a significant impact on my health and motivation. The environment is safe, professional, and family-oriented, making it an ideal place to focus on personal wellness.

One of the things I love most is the private, one-on-one training experience. When I work with Evelyn, I have the gym to myself, allowing for a personalized and focused workout. Evelyn is kind, patient, and encouraging, always mindful of my limitations while pushing me to improve. Even when other trainers are working with their clients at the same time, the atmosphere remains positive and uplifting. The other members are just as encouraging, creating a strong sense of community and support.

The club also goes above and beyond with thoughtful amenities. All I need to bring is my motivation—water, towels, and snacks are provided, and I even have the option to leave my shoes there for added convenience.

Even in just three weeks, I can confidently say that this fitness club is worth every penny because my health matters, and I feel supported every step of the way. I can’t wait to see my progress continue. Highly recommend!

Capital fitness is the place you want to go if you want to start taking your physical training seriously. I started going early this year to get past a plateau and recover from an injury. I started feeling results after only a week. Their training program took me from barely being able to bend over at the waist to being able to do pushups and pistol squats easily! My flexibility strength and endurance have all greatly improved since I began training.
The best part is the private sessions. I’m able to push myself confidently and consistently when the only thing on my mind is the workout in front of me. If you’re hitting a plateau, just starting or have been exercising your whole life I encourage you to give capital fitness a try. They will take you above and beyond if you have the determination to stick with it.

Fantastic, it’s a good one on one experience; of pure self inflicted torture. You keep coming back. For, each time I leave I fell better, sore, very sore but good. It’s a very diffrent experience than most other personal trainers I’ve had, but so far my most successful.
There is a big, and in my case important, emphasis on accountability.

Typically I don’t like going to the gym, I do not know what machines to use or what to do besides the treadmill. The universe put this gym in my path for a reason and I’m so thankful. Jay and Evelyn listen to my concerns (knee replacements as the main one) and developed a program for me - and change it up so it’s not boring! It’s hard but I’m not throwing up so it’s perfect. Although I've long known that weight training is key to maintaining my ability to do the outdoor activities I love as I approach that latter half of middle age, I hate gyms and any home exercise equipment I've purchase either became an extra clothing rack or dust-gathering device. A personal trainer was my last hope to continue skiing, backpacking and rafting into my 60's and beyond. Thankfully, I found Jay and Capital Fitness. Scheduled one-on-one sessions give me the accountability I need to show up and do the workout. And to my surprise, I don't hate it! Jay is great at varying the exercises so I don't get bored. Plus, he's fun to chat with and encourages me with positive feedback and we work towards reasonable fitness goals. I never feel judged or discouraged, even when exercising muscles that feel like they haven't been used since the 1980's. I also love the fact that it's a private gym, so I can struggle and gripe in privacy. I think working with Jay is going to be a transformative experience and I will be singing his praises as I fly down a ski run on my 80th birthday!

I am very pleased with the services I receive. I am a current client whom feels that I get exactly what I pay for. When I finish a session I feel like I have gotten my money's worth and then some. I have lots of questions and Jay takes the time to answer and explain so I can understand what is happening with my body. I am at 1.5 months 3x a week and I can see the difference. I started working out with Jay because I wanted to get back into shape to keep up with my nieces and nephew and at my age I need to start watching my health. Jay makes me feel comfortable, is very knowledgeable and pushes me. I started noticing a difference in my energy in the first couple weeks! Going to physical therapy twice a week to recover from a torn PCL. I wasn't progressing in PT so I did some research for a personal trainer. Capital Fitness was one of the top few on the list, did a consolation with Jay and I felt like it was the best fit. We sat down and talked about my injury and where I want to be. He listened and has exceeded my expectations. We've already made more progress in knee strengthening in the month i've trained with jay than i've been in PT for a few months. My fiance and I signed up with J about a month ago, to get in shape before summer hits. Private, Clean, & comfortable personal use gym. Jay is a great trainer who takes the time to cater to your specific needs. I started seeing results within the 1st month. During the summer Jay offers group classes outdoors, “at the park”, that I really enjoyed. 1st session was free. Like taking a test drive, it gave me the chance to “try before I buy”, which was nice to get an evaluation, a road map to get me to a better fitness level. I felt as ease from the beginning. Jay is a national accredited trainer and nutritionist. I definitely recommend. 5/5 stars, give capital fitness a call, and become a healthier you.

Jay is an awesome trainer. He focuses on functional fitness and will get you in the best shape of your life. I came to Capital Fitness very out of shape and looking to get back in shape. I meet the trainer, Jay twice a week and have gotten good results so far.
