If you are looking for down to earth people with immense knowledge and offerings, Hatcher Pass Yoga is the studio for you. Jenni + Mandy are both so kind and inviting and the community they've created within their classes is the perfect safe space of genuine connection. The yurt has heated floors and incredible views of Hatcher Pass, it's the best hidden gem in the valley 10/10 recommend!

The most welcoming and inclusive yoga studio I’ve ever experienced. Great for all ages, experience levels and bodies. LGBTQ+ friendly and trauma informed. They even have everything you’d need for a class if you don’t have a yoga mat, blocks, ect. The instructors care about your experience. Beautiful location!

Hatcher Pass Yoga is my favorite studio in the valley. It’s on a lake and so cozy. I find it hard to leave. 💕 the owner Jenny has done an amazing job at making everyone feel so welcome! I love the Music and Movement class!

I recently had the pleasure of hosting a wellness retreat at Hatcher Pass Yoga, owned by Jenni, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The day began with a Detox Dynamics workshop that set the stage for reflection and renewal. Next, we transitioned to the sauna and cold plunge, which offered a refreshing and invigorating reset. We ended the day with a relaxing yoga session led by Jenni, paired with a soothing sound bowl experience that left everyone feeling deeply grounded.

Jenni was a joy to work with—her organization, passion, and warmth made the retreat seamless and welcoming for all. The involvement of amazing community sponsors added an extra layer of connection and support to the event.

Hatcher Pass Yoga is a truly special place, and Jenni’s dedication to fostering wellness and community shines through in everything she does. Whether you’re planning a retreat or seeking a serene space to unwind, I highly recommend it!

Art and yoga was a ton fun. Rusty is so creative and Jenni allowed us to use the sauna for our savasana. Amazing!

Attended a yoga retreat weekend. Jenni was so wonderful in making the best of the chaos that was handed to her. The yoga was phenomenal! I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the sound bath as someone with significant sensory issues. Jenni was extremely knowledgeable about all the local hiking. Food was amazing and plentiful. Love the idea of having a base camp weekend for hiking and yoga.

I forgot to leave a review in-person so hoping this sort of makes up for it.

This is my favorite yoga studio. Not just favorite in the Valley, favorite yoga studio period. I have taught at, worked at, and attended classes at many different studios but none come close to this beautiful location; the views, the community, and the friends I have made here. All the instructors make me feel welcomed, loved, and like I am a part of this community. The classes are great - good variety and skill levels, but what really keeps me coming back is the warm welcome I get every time I walk through the door. There is such an emphasis on community here that is such a joy to be a part of. The facility itself is so lovely and scenic too.

-Grounded Strength Yoga with Jenni-
Went to my first Yoga class this morning at HatcherPassYogaAK. It was amazing. What a great place. The vibe is amazing, the instruction is
great, especially for someone like me who is a total newbie. I feel great, I’m positive you will too!

-Mindful Movement with Mandy-
Yoga today was again so great. Yesterdays was grounded strength, today was mindful movement.
This one was just as beneficial as yesterdays. I'm feeling all the stretches and in the perfectly accurate words of the instructor at todays yoga(Mandy- also amazing by the way), "it hurts
so good" kinda pain. It was fantastic.

-Movement & Music Yoga Flow with Annie-
I was a bit hesitant going into this class, just beings there's music based movement like coordination and my achilles heel.…..balance. Now altogether in public that's risky. Lol, However, I absolutely love music and movement, I just had to give it a try. I'm so happy I did. Just like the first 2 this one again was equally there, equally fun, differently fantastic, they all hold their own special feeling. This really is such a fun place to enjoy great people and fun and amazing yoga.

My favorite yoga studio in the Valley! A few of my favorites are yoga fit, grounded strength, and yoga burn classes. Knowledgeable friendly instructors, whether you’re new to yoga or already have a practice there is so many levels of classes to choose from. Clean studio, small class size, amazing views of Reed lake and Hatcher Pass, as a busy working mom of 3 boys HPY has helped me stay grounded Mind & Body 🧘I highly recommend them!

Jenni is wonderful. Love her explanations of what’s happening in the body with each pose and stretch. Class is restorative and allows new intentions to be set with every movement. I left feeling taller and more connected. Something about the yurt’s round shape really sets this studio apart from others I’ve tried, too :)
