Chris is the perfect trainer for me. He took time up front to understand my goals with the training. He is knowledgeable and always prepared with a plan of what we are working on. I started from square one and am really pleased with my progress so far. Chris is punctual, reliable, humble and agreeable. I highly recommend him as a trainer!

There are some very good people that hangout out this gym and Chris is a very nice guy. But he is not the greatest trainer. He is not really the greatest motivator and he was late for a lot of my sessions. The gym is totally ghetto and there was loud rap music blasting every time I went to my training sessions and I hate rap music. I signed up for 6 sessions and only went to 4. I don’t recommend this gym at all. The equipment is old and the gym is run down and the bathroom is filthy. I’m going to check out iron gloves gym for my next boxing lessons. I will never return to this gym again.

Chris was unreliable, made me wait 30 minutes, sent Chris a message letting him know that I was here he said he’ll be here in 5 waited 15 more minutes, so I left than sent me a message telling me where I was at. First day he told me to do what’s on the white board there is no 1 on 1 at this gym. Paid 80 a month for bad service, came to the gym all dirty like if they had dumped wood shaving and dirt on him. One day I left because he just ignored me, got in my car and he came out lifting his arms and saying “ why are you leaving” I just told him I had to work. Over all this gym need to improve on almost everything.

I was looking for a trainer that would teach me the skills of boxing (not just an aerobics type class) and train me to get in better shape. I found both of these traits at 1on1! In the last 2 months I'm down about 22lbs and feeling great! Chris is constantly considering and pondering ways to push your fitness levels higher. I'm grateful to him for it! Highly recommend 1on1

I have been going to Chris and 1 on 1 Boxing for 3 months now. I've lost 12lbs since I started and can see a definite difference in my appearance, endurance, and energy. The workouts change daily and are always enjoyable. I have never dreaded going to one of Chris' classes. I had no boxing experience prior to coming to class and you don't need it. 1 on 1 Boxing is worth trying out.

1on1 Boxing Fitness is simply the best. The workouts are dynamic and continually change so there is no risk of getting bored doing the same routines. Chris, the owner and head trainer, is highly skilled at assessing each person's level of fitness and customizing workouts to those abilities. He will provide correction and instruction for improvement and does so nicely—he's not a trainer who will yell at or belittle you. After three sessions I noticed my stamina improving and after only six sessions I noticed my clothes started fitting much better. I just completed my first month of training and am thrilled to continue. If you want a fantastic workout, training by a true professional who will safely push you to improve and excel, and you want fast results, get to 1on1 Boxing Fitness.

My name is Jeremy and I am a 47 year old male who has suffered from severe neck and back pain for the last four years. I have had one shoulder and two neck surgeries over this period of time. I had become totally inactive and gained 30 pounds since suffering my injuries. After spending over $20,000.00 on doctors, surgeries, specialists, physical therapists, acupuncture and drugs, I was spending everyday in pain that was about the 8-10 range on a scale of 1-10 and had pretty much accepted that I was going to have to live this way and that I was no longer going to be able to be physically active like I was.
I had decided to get my son involved in some boxing instruction to build his confidence and get him into shape. That is how I met Chris Terry. Chris mentioned that he had developed a program for older people who are trying to get back into shape. I was skeptical but I figured what did I have to lose at this point and decided to give it a try. It turned out to be one of the best things that I ever did.
Chris is not a salesperson. He does not try to sell you unnecessary items item's or classes to make more money off of a client. He treats you honestly and fairly and is very straightforward and gets satisfaction from helping his clients improve their lives. He is an experienced trainer that was focused on my improvement and progress. He was able to use his knowledge to recognize that part of my problem was the horrible body mechanics that were a result of overcompensating with other muscle groups for my injuries. He tailored the fitness program to strengthen my upper, lower back, abdominal area and hips. These muscle groups were not engaging and it turned out to be a large part of what was causing my pain. After working daily with Chris for over 5 weeks, I have lost 11 pounds, have increased my strength and flexibility considerably and reduced my daily pain rating to a 1-2. I now feel strong and stable throughout my back and core area. This is something that I would not have thought possible if you had asked me 6 weeks ago. Under Chris's instruction, I have progressed to the point where I am now physically able to start the boxing instruction program with my son. Chris is excellent with clients of all ages. If you want great results in a short period of time at an affordable price in a professional atmosphere with a experienced trainer who cares about his clients, then do yourself a favor and give this place a try. You will be happy that you did.

Never have I ever experienced such an amazing workout like I have here at 1on1 boxing fitness.
I remember the first day I was so nervous.
I found the people and instructors to be very nice, friendly, and motivating.
I have noticed several differences in myself and so have others.
Due to several current events that have taken up in my life, I haven't been able to go. but as soon as i get the chance i shall return!

I have often wondered what it is in the human condition that entices us to try something that is difficult and say "hmm.... I need to do this more". Maybe it's that competitive side that lingers in all of us or simply a want to better your health. For me, it was both. I've always been slightly competitive and also enjoy the perks of consistently working out (nice body). I walked in to 1 on 1 boxing two months ago. It literally took me four days to be able to walk correct again because my legs were so sore. I started thinking, if I do this once a week I will be proud of myself. That is what I did for about a month. However, people kept informing me that if I started doing it more often it would get easier and I got sick and tired of looking at the back of my legs so I stepped my goal up. I have been attending 1 on 1 boxing every morning for almost 2 weeks now. It is true, it's getting less intense because I am getting stronger! I mostly train with Chris (the owner) and I enjoy him. He pushes me everyday to be better and is a genuinely nice guy. The work outs are different each day and Chris is always more than happy to focus on a muscle group of your choice. The flexible schedule that the gym offers is nice. If for some reason you are unable to attend a morning class they have night classes as well. Basically, boxing is amazing and 1 on 1 Boxing is a spectacular place to start. We all have a little fight in us which makes the workouts fun.
