I get sick every single time I workout here. They didn't disclose an annual fee when signing the contract and I refuse to pay my bill because they refuse to freeze my account. This place is a joke. I am never opening an account here ever again. Not open 24 hours. Steam room is disgusting. Pool was the only thing that's been renovated. Weights get slammed while you relax in the whirlpool.

This is a very good fitness club! I LOVE Caroline's Tuesday and Wednesday morning classes, Other favorites are Body Pump, and the water aerobics classes! The large pool is much better than other club pool with their minimal sizes.

I've tried many gyms in the area but I keep coming back to this one. The staff is wonderful, and the trainers are friendly and knowledgeable (especially Daniel; best trainer I've ever had !) I come at all times of day, and have never waited for a machine; they have plenty. Classes can fill up fast at peak times (before and after work) but they offer a lot of various classes throughout the day. The club is also recently under new management who are seeing that repairs are completed promptly. Past management was lax in that area, to be sure. I really don't understand some of these reviews. Someone stole your purse and you want compensation??? Did you not notice the signs they have had up for 15 + years that warn you not to leave valuables in your locker?...Maybe a lock might have been wise, too...Definitely the friendliest club in Phoenix and a good value for the price.

It's the worst gym I've been to. Not very well kept, and very poor customer service.

Horrible customer service, gym is always packed and have to wait for machines, bench etc. tried to cancel my membership but you can't cancel over the phone.. why is that? could it be that they want to give you a hard sell in person to continue? if your looking for a new gym I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. you will be glad you did.

I also don't get all the negative reviews; if anything is dirty (i.e. the bathroom), it's from people who don't know how to clean up after themselves--not the staff. Regarding the staff; awesome group of people. Any interaction I've had has been professional and friendly. Regarding the cleaning crew; I've seen them working late at night going over EVERYTHING. They do a great job. I've yet to see any equipment (cardio or machine) that is down for repair more than a day (I joined Sept 2014). The only problem is a few of the clientele tend to forget to put back their weights--the vast majority of people who work out there are well schooled in gym etiquette.

I LOVE this gym, its close to my house, it has great exercise machines, swimming pool, dry and wet sauna. I have been a member for 15+ years and I would not go anywhere else.

This gym is dirty, ill equipped and showers are in disrepair. The front desk people are great...especially Todd. He pays attention to details and always has a warm hello and goodbye. After 3 years there, I am moving to the new Mesa location. It's farther away but I just cannot look at the dirt and disrepair at the Camelback location any longer.

If you're here to really work out, it can be done. Any faults are too small too complain about.

I don't get all the negative reviews. This club is better and cleaner than the 24 Hour Fitness I went to in Salt Lake City and a good value for the price you pay. You can't really find a cheaper deal with a pool. The personal trainer I use, Brian, is awesome.

I was so impressed by this gym. The staff is the friendliest I have ever met, there is a wide variety of equipment, the locker rooms are clean and the cleaning staff is cleaning constantly. There is never a problem to get on equipment or in a class. The trainers are excellent, too. Cannot say enough about this great gym - and I have tried many! Thanks, John, the club manager for making such a welcoming gym!

Worst 24 hour fitness I've been to. This is an older building and it smells funny. This wouldn't be so big of a deal if the machines weren't always broke. Finding a woking elliptical is a challenge and even then "working" is a loose term.
Free weights are alright, but the selection at other locations is better. I go here out of geographical convenience. I get a workout, but its rarely enjoyable here.
On a positive note there is plenty of parking and there is generally a security guard present.

The gym was okay. Some of the machines needed some tlc, but the free weights were in good shape. Parking lot was dark. The plus was that it was clean.

Smells like crap inside, they are very unsanitary inside. The towels inside the gym are always empty and they lock up certain equipment "only for the traniers to use". The place is flat out discusting, i've been working out for 12 years now and have never seen a worse gym in my life. Don't waste your time with this awful gym!
