This gym is very good and big, the only problem is that they don't have paper towels to clean the equipment. They have cloth towels, and very few of them. If you pick them up, they're wet and soaked. It's disgusting that even after cleaning, it's still filthy, covered in sweat, just smeared all over the towel. The reason is that there should be one towel per area; they should use paper towels. But apparently, they don't care.

Should not be classified as 24/7 IF NOT OPEN 24/7, every holiday is closed even the wack ones and a lot of people don’t celebrate holidays. As well should not have fabric towels because it accumulates germs and everybody’s germs just is being wiped on the machines over and over until the towel is changed. And this is one of the gyms that charges the most and no paper towels???? And then no update it’s been the same since the first time I went 8 years ago and how am I being charged the same as the people in foothills who are using new updated equipment. AND THEN IF OVERCHARGING is not enough they still have the audacity to charge extra 5 dollars to use both locations??? Not even 24/7 fitness that charges 10 dollars less and can use any location AND EVEN IN CONSTRUCTION PUTTING IN THE FLOOR THEY WERE STILL OPEN. AND IF THE ONLY REASON YALL SEE ME THERE IF YOU FIND OUT WHO I AM, THIS MONTH IS CUZ I ALREADY PAYED 2 months ahead to cancel. Other than that very clean 🤗🤗

*Read The Contract before you sign* I’ve been a loyal customer going to both locations for the past 2 years. I’ve never really had any issues, up until I had to move and cancel my membership.

I called last week to cancel my membership (before June 15th) and they said I had to come in and sign a cancellation form. Cool. I came in on the 17th to sign the documents and they told me that I would be charged for the month of July because it was after the 15th of June. My billing date is the 3rd of July (I cancelled 2 weeks before my billing date). I called to speak to management, and I politely asked why I would be billed for July. He said it was in the contract I signed when I first joined and hung up on me.

Kind of disappointed after going to this gym for a while and getting a bunch of my buddies to join.

Best gym in all of Yuma, The owner knows me by name and makes me feel like I’m apart of the family, this gym is unparalleled to any other gym I’ve been to in my life, metal plates, hammer strength machines, calibrated plates, and the list goes on. So much variety and they are renovating it to make it even better, The atmosphere is perfect for serious and casual lifters. My favorite feature is the wall of autographs signed by some of the greatest bodybuilders of all time, the owner Justin and his father poured solely love, compassion, and heart into this beautiful place, and it amazes me people would want to go anywhere else. The only problem I have with 4th ave Yuma, is the fact I can’t rate it higher than 5 stars.

I have tried to cancel membership and unless I'm able to come in to the gym they will not cancel my membership. I have been paying for a membership for year's the last time I've been to 4th Ave gym was in 2020 & I have had to continue to pay since they will not allow me to fax or email papers to cancel.. Everything you need in one place. I prefer to swim - the pool is refreshing and clean! Okay for laps - less than 25, maybe 18? But still okay for a nice swim in the 105 degree heat. Profoundly better than the hotel pools. Here's the best part - a day pass is only $12! Great for an out-of-towner! Lots of free weights, machines, bikes, you name it. Friendly and welcoming staff. I did the 1 week free trial, which was nice to know if the gym was a good fit for me or not…the workout facilities were okay and I thought it was neat they have a pool - but ultimately because I had to drive to this gym due to distance which meant using the locker rooms, this is what changed my mind. The locker rooms were disgusting, I couldn’t bear to take a shower there they were so gross. If not for that I would’ve stayed.

My husband and I had a week free trial at this gym a few months back when we moved to Yuma. We had some issues showing proof that we were residing and not just visiting . But despite that The owner was extremely nice and helpful! He gave us the one week free trial anyway. We absolutely loved the gym. But it was Always very busy! Super packed and we always had to wait to use the machines. I would have definitely join this gym if it wasn’t for how full and busy that it is! If you are more flexible with your hours and don’t mind the wait than I definitely recommend this gym! Very sad we couldn’t join it :(

Fourth Ave Gym is hands down the best and most well equipped gym in Yuma. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the atmosphere makes you lose track of the outside world and focus on your workout.
