This is probably the largest, best thought out anytime I’ve ever seen. Machines are grouped together by muscle groups, plenty of space for free weights, multiple stacks for deadlifts/legs, a large XTR area in the back.

But most incredibly so MANY rest/shower rooms! Most anytime have only two or three total. This place had six.

Unfortunately the people there ruin it. There’s more than a few overly entitled senior citizens that seem to think they own the entire gym trying to claim three pieces of gear at a time even the place is packed.

I’ve been training with Dina Taylor for the last couple years. Every workout with her is an excellent workout. She pushes me but is able to adapt to my needs. She always has a positive, friendly demeanor. Not only has my time with her helped my physical well being, but it has been crucial to my mental well being as well given I have a high stress career. She holds me accountable and I'm grateful for our relationship. Also, this Anytime Fitness is an excellent gym. It truly feels like a family of fitness enthusiasts. It has a great variety of equipment with great quality.

Update 9/13/24:

The community board mentioned upgrades coming in the future, which is great. New treadmills were installed as promised. There was a broken exercise bicycle that got replaced, it was the only broken machine I've seen at the gym in the two years I have been coming here. Pretty good in my opinion!

The corner squat rack needs the wooden flooring updated. It feels uneven, and when I am doing squats I go to the other areas instead.

I've only had positive interactions with the staff, everyone has been professional and friendly.

This is a really nice AF location, and I appreciate the amenities and cleanliness. The towels for use and for cleaning are almost always in stock, and wipes are always around as well which is very appreciated. No machines or equipment are left broken.

I recently moved to Arizona and currently researching fitness centers in my area. This fitness center advertised a one week free “No obligation” 7 day trial if you schedule an appointment. I scheduled an appointment today at12:30p, toured the facility, which was nice. However, I wanted to use my one week free access just to get a feel of the facility before signing up for membership. The manager told me that in order to get the free trial, I had to pay $10, for the “free no obligation access “. He said it would be deducted from the membership once I signed up. However, the purpose of the free access is to use the gym first to determine IF I want to sign up. Therefore if I decide I don’t want to join, the free trial isn’t actually free or without obligation. I really was thinking about signing up to this gym because of its location and access, but I changed my mind and will continue my search for a gym that’s honest up front and really do want my membership.

One of the male trainers hit on the woman he was training, right in front of me. It was honestly not just unprofessional, but gross. I feel unsafe coming here now and I'm going to cancel my membership with anytime because of this.

It's honestly very disturbing, all the trainers here seem unprofessional and rude. They also have a lot more trainers than the other Anytime locations which is strange.

Anytime Fitness Moonvalley location has roaches! Owner Andy treats the situation as no big deal! Imagine putting your bag down or using the facilities and seeing roaches!

Feel free to take this with a grain of salt, I might just be spoiled but in my opinion this gym has lots of variety for gym equipment but is way over priced for the value provided. Unless you have 60$ (not including the startup fees, because that's an extra 40$) to throw at a sub-par gym for the sake of being able to work out at one am I wouldn't recommend coming here. I wanted to share my experience with Anytime Fitness Moon Valley after 3 years at this location. First, the owners are there every day, except Sunday, to help you or answer any questions. This is important because there is no waiting to get an answer if you need help or assistance. They have personal trainers for anyone who needs additional help and one-on-one training is available. Check out their website for pictures of all the equipment. There are 5 private bathrooms with 4 having walk-in showers that are always super clean along with the rest of the facility. This location is run professionally and that's what you need. Call them and set up a meeting and check it out. Top-notch operation.

As a trainer who works at a different, much larger and busier gym, it’s nice to have a place to get my workout in that’s not as overwhelming. Everyone needs their “me time” and mine is my workout. Everyone that comes in is mature and minds their own. The 24hr operation is really nice for my schedule. Bathrooms are clean. There are some teens that come in later that, well act like teenagers, but they’re harmless. There’s way worse things teens could be doing on a Friday night.

I've been a member for several years. I joined before COVID and the owner was kind enough to suspend my billing during COVID as I was not able to attend given my age and heart condition. The members vary in age from very young adults to senior adults. I've recently restarted and I am having a great experience at this gym which is very well maintained and very clean. I enjoyed my one on one training with Dina and my wife is currently training with her. Owners and employees and other members are very friendly and I always feel very welcome and comfortable in this environment. The facility, equipment and restrooms are impeccably clean with disinfectant and towels available to maintain the sanitary conditions of all equipment. I will remain a member as long as I'm able to workout.

One of the best facilities in the valley that I love to workout, has a small gym feel where you know everyone but has all the equipment you will need from free weights, in person classes and the virtual classes. Two of the Anytime Fitness locations that I’ve visited have closed in the last several months here in Phoenix. It is such a terrible chain of fitness centers. The rates are also totally unreasonable compared to the competition. Forget about customer service entirely, because it all comes down to the attitude of the person who owns the local franchise that you decide to visit. This particular franchise is the perfect example of this phenomenon. I would recommend staying away from Anytime Fitness at all costs - almost any other gym choice is a better decision than this one.

I am a member in Tucson but during a BMX event, I visited this gym. It’s huge, up to date equipment and very clean. I was very surprised at the amount of choice I had for my workout. The shower and bathrooms were clean and they provide towels for your workout! Great studio!

I feel so lucky to have found such a perfect gem of a gym right in my neighborhood. Kind, welcoming staff, great equipment, and very clean. In addition, the group fitness classes are fun and well balanced. I am grateful for the owners who obviously put their soul into creating a wonderful healthy place. As to the gentleman who left the one star last week - I was here when he entered and it was unfortunate that he misunderstood general policies of the gym. His key clearly did not work, and then instead of inquiring, he marched in anyway and was even rude to the owner, who was courteous and offered him an opportunity to use the gym. Instead he turned on his heels and left - so he never even really experienced the gym. I am not sure how he had the courage to leave a bad review.

I have been going to Anytime fitness for several years now. I started with the location in Flagstaff. It was important for me to have a gym that was open 24 hours and had many locations. With all my travels I have seen many of the Anytime Fatness in Arizona, and now in Nevada, Alaska, and Texas. It was by luck that I discovered this branch of anytime fitness, my normal one had lock issues. Ever since that day I have never looked back. This is one of the best maintained gyms I have ever seen. It is kept clean, and more importantly has plenty of equipment so that even when its busy you can get a workout in. Additionally, the owners and staff are amazing. Blew me away that they actually new my name. Always feel welcomed there. Hands down best anytime fitness.

I recently moved to N. Phoenix after living in Chandler for a few years and using the same anytime there. I have to say I was very dissatisfied with all of the anytime locations around my area. They either had lack of equipment or parking or both. That is until I visited this location yesterday. Let me say I am not only impressed but excited. This location obviously has an exceptional owner and staff as well. This gym is HUGE and has every machine that is on my checklist for a great full body workout. It is extremely clean and all of the equipment is like new. This location is the size of all the others in this area put together and much nicer! I have never been to an anytime fitness that even comes close to this location and I have visited more than 20 around the valley. This should be a model gym for any franchise and the corporate office should build their business models off of this location moving forward. I can go on and on but I will leave it at this. If your even within 20 miles of this location it is worth your time to make the trip to check it out! Thank you gym God's for guiding me to this gym haha!

The answer to my prayers. I joined at the E Thunderbird Rd location and loved it. Just moved though and now it's too far away. :( I tried the one closest to my new home and it was HORRIBLE! This one is middle ground as far as distance from home but worth it. And the wifi works!

This gym is fantastic! They have done a great job making sure there is the perfect mix of equipment. They have everything from the staples of any quality gym such as squat rack, bench press and T-bar to every Hammer Srength plate loaded machine that even some of the big clubs can't seem to get right.

The staff is friendly and always smiling. Not to mention the place is immaculate.
